AIR FORCE







            Sverdrup Technologies, Inc., Tullahoma, Tenn., is being awarded a

$50,063,925 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract modification.

This action provides for the Technical, Engineering and Acquisition Support

Program and provides a wide range of diverse engineering, technical and

acquisition management support.  This is required in the acquisition,

development, production, and support of various equipment and weapon systems

within the Air Armament Center and other organizations at Eglin Air Force

Base, Fla.  This is an option exercise to extend the term of the contract,

June 11 through Dec. 10, 2006.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders

totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though requirements may

necessitate less than the amount indicated above.  At this time, total funds

have been obligated.  This work will be complete December 2006.  Headquarters

Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity

(F08635-01-C-0002/P00052).







            Raytheon Systems Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a

$7,996,471 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.  The objective of

this effort is to develop Lightweight, Low-Power Density Active Electronically

Scanned Array (AESA) technology for the DARPA Integrated Sensor is Structure

program.  The AESA to be developed is dual band (UHF and X-Band) and bonded to

the flexible hull material of the airship.  The Air Force can issue delivery

orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual

requirements may necessitate less than the amount above.  At this time,

$2,500,000 has been obligated.  Negotiations were complete April 2006.  Work

will be complete April 2008.  The Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, N.Y.,

is the contracting activity (FA8750-06-C-0048).







            Boeing Co, Information Space and Defense Systems, Seattle, Wash.,

is being awarded a $7,736,892 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity

contract.  This action provides for the French AWACS Mid-Life Upgrade Risk

Reduction Study.  At this time, $3,000,000 has been obligated.  Work will be

complete June 2008.  The Airborne Early Warning & Control Systems Group,

Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-01-D-001,

delivery order 0049).







            L3 Communications Vertex Aerospace, LLC, Madison, Miss., is being

awarded a 5,687,913 firm-fixed-price contract modification.  This action

provides for Electronic Flight Instrument Systems B-Kits for the C-12 C/D

aircraft.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Negotiations were

complete May 2006.  Work will be complete January 2007.  Headquarters Oklahoma

City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting

_ARMY







            AM General L.L.C., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on May 10, 2006,

a $42,449,318 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for M1151P1 high

mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles.  Work will be performed in South Bend,

Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will

not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source

contract initiated on July 17, 2000.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and

Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity

(DAAE07-01-C-S001).







            General Dynamics, Taunton, Mass., was awarded on May 10, 2006, a

$28,867,952 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of a unit hub

baseband truck, joint network nodes, battalion command post nodes, associated

spare parts, and sixteen months of maintenance, system configuration, network

management setup, contractor field service representative, and contractor

depot level repair support services.  Work will be performed in Taunton,

Mass., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will

not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source

contract initiated on March 27, 2006.  The U.S. Army

Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting

activity (W15P7T-06-C-G001).







            ITT Industries*, Roanoke, Va., was awarded on May 5, 2006, a

delivery order amount of $16,595,392 as part of a $72,686,210 firm-fixed-price

contract for helmet mount assemblies and advanced combat helmet front

brackets.  Work will be performed in Roanoke, Va., and is expected to be

completed by May 11, 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  There was one bid solicited on Oct. 19, 2005, and two

bids were received.  The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering

Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity

            GM GDLS Defense Group L.L.C., Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded

on May 10, 2006, an $8,171,111 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract

for Stryker contractor logistics support for the remote weapon station block I

pipeline spares support.  Work will be performed in Auburn, Wash., and is

expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at

the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated

on June 15, 2005.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command,

            Marotta Controls, Inc.*, Montville, N.J., is being awarded a

$13,819,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract

for the production of up to 400 Pure Air Generating Systems (PAGS) for

integration into the LAU-7 and LAU-127 missile rail launchers, special test

equipment, and engineering and technical support services.  Work will be

            Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a

$62,000,000 firm fixed price & cost plus fixed fee contract modification.

This action will increase the current undefinitized contract action for Lot 6,

F-22 aircraft performance based agile logistics support (PALS) activities.

Specifically this modification funds PALS 3010 activities through June 2006

and authorized work to begin on 3600 funded support equipment development

activities.  Additionally, this modification increases the obligation amount

for the Lot 6 PALS effort to 75%.  At this time, $137,300,100 has been

obligated.  This work will be complete December 2006.  Headquarters

Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the

            Northrop-Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being

awarded a $9,535,150 cost plus incentive fee, cost plus fixed fee & firm fixed

price contract modification.  This contract is for Intercontinental Ballistic

Missile (ICBM) Minuteman minimum essential emergency communications network

program (MMP).  This effort will include the redesign and testing of spares

affected by obsolescence issues.  This modification to the ICBM prime

intergrate contract will also provide non-redesigned and redesigned

sustainment spares required to provide lifetime support under the forthcoming

contractor logistic support modification.  At this time, total funds have been

obligated.  Work will be complete March 2009.  Headquarters Ogden Air

            Odyssey International*, Baltimore, Md., was awarded on May 11,

2006, 2006, a $21,418,603 firm-fixed-price contract for replacement of the

Bureau of Indian Affairs Leupp Boarding School.  Work will be performed in

Coconino, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, 2007.  Contract

funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 20

bids solicited on Nov. 14, 2005, and two bids were received.  The Army Corps

            Simula Aerospace and Defense Group Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., was

awarded on May 11, 2006, an $8,285,985 modification to a firm-fixed-price

contract for the multiple armor spare parts for the M915 system.  Work will be

            Austal Hull 130 Chartering, LLC, Mobile, Ala., is being awarded a

$13,395,944 firm-fixed-priced, reimbursables contract for the charter of high

speed vessel MV Westpac Express.  This charter is a passenger/cargo vessel

that will be operated to transport Okinawa-based Marine Corps' Third Marine

Expeditionary Force and their equipment.  This contract includes four one-year

options, which if exercised, would bring the total award amounts to

$55,285,500 plus an estimated $33,364,740 for fuel and reimbursables.  The

vessel will be prepositioned at sea in various locations worldwide, mainly in

and around Okinawa, Japan.  The contract is expected to commence in February

2007 and have a completion date of September 2007 (with options exercised the

completion date will be September 2011).   The contract will be funded with FY

2007 funds that will expire at the end of fiscal year 07.  This contract was

competitively procured with 100 proposals solicited and eight offers received.

award fee contract modification.  This action provides for the defense support

program (DSP) spacecraft post-production support contract, added in-scope due

to launch slip covering pre-launch requirement for the period ending 30 Sept.,

2006.  The requirement consists of the following:  storage and storage support

of the DSP satellites in accordance with satellites environmental,

requirements , annual testing of stored satellites, trend analysis,

integration returns (repairs and return failed/obsolete component), perform

safety analysis, load analysis, maintain all launch vehicle and launch site

the replacement of the roof expansion joint, sealing the roof with an

elastomeric coating, refurbishing the gutter systems, replacement of

structural steel coatings, replacement of bolts, replacement of steel plates,

replacement of catwalks, and replacement of stairs.  Work will be performed in

            CACI, Inc. - Federal, Chantilly, Va., is being awarded an order

off of GSA's millennia lite functional area 4 government wide acquisition

contract (GWAC).  This is a cost plus award fee (bi-annual) contract for the

wide area workflow receipt and acceptance (WAWF-RA).  The order has a base

period of one year with four 12-month options.  The base award is valued at

$8,138,860.  The estimated cost and award fee for the entire 5-year period is

$42,528,664.  The scope of this effort is the continued software development,

sustainment, integration, program management, testing, training, and support

of WAWF-RA.  The requirement was solicited on a fair opportunity competition

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY







            Atlantic Microwave Corporation, Bolton, Mass., is being awarded a

maximum $49,000,000 firm fixed price contract for antenna for Army.  There

were three proposals solicited and two responded.  This is an indefinite

quantity type contract with four one-year option.  Contract funds will expire

at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May

18, 2007.  Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC),

Columbus, Ohio (SP0920-06-D-7734).







_NAVY







            BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a

$27,947,320 cost-plus-award-fee contract for dry-docking selected restricted

availabilities and selected restricted availabilities for CG 47 Class ships

homeported and visiting Norfolk, Va.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va.,

and is expected to be completed by August 2011.  Contract funds in the amount

of $27, 947,320, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The

contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet, with three

offers received.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the

contracting activity (N00024-06-C-4415).







            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a

$22,131,688 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously awarded

indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-06-D-0014) to

produce spares for the AN/ALQ-218 tactical jamming systems receivers in

support of the EA-6B aircraft.  Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md. (57

percent), and Bethpage, N.Y. (30 percent); Nashua, N.H. (8 percent), and San

Diego, Calif. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2009.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The

Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.







            BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being

awarded a $17,273,582 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded

cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-02-C-3235) to exercise an option for

engineering, technical, and logistics services for the production, lifetime

support engineering, and in-service engineering of radio communications

system/command, control, communications, computer and intelligence systems.

The estimated level of effort for this option period is 352,800 man-hours.

Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md. (95 percent); Mayport, Fla. (2

percent); Chesapeake, Va. (2 percent) and San Diego, Calif. (1 percent), and

is expected to be completed in May 2007.  Contract funds in the amount of

$1,286,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air

Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md. is the contracting activity.







            Advanced Engineering and Sciences, A Division of ITT, Inc.,

Annapolis Junction, Md., was awarded on May 16, 2006, a $13,194,037

cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for maintenance of current

counter-radio-controlled improvised explosive device electronic warfare

systems and minor modifications to other systems.  Work will be performed in

Annapolis Junction, Md., and is expected to be completed by November 2007.

Contract funds in the amount of $13,194,037, will expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  The contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval

Sea Systems Command, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the

contracting activity (N00174-06-C-0035).







            Alloy Surfaces Co., Inc., Aston, Pa., was awarded on May 15, 2006,

an $8,707,524 delivery order #0004 under previously awarded firm-fixed- price

contract (N00140-05-G-0726) for MJU-49/B decoy devices in support of the

Airborne Expendable Countermeasures Program. Work will be performed in Aston,

Pa., and work is expected to be completed by December 2006.  Contract funds

will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not

competitively procured.  The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting

activity.







            EPSILON Systems Solutions, Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being

awarded a $5,700,000 firm-fixed-price contract for acquisition of services to

repair and upgrade naval berthing barges.  This contract includes a base year

and three, one-year option periods, which, if exercised, bring the total

estimated value of the contract to $22,900,000.  Work will be performed in San

Diego, Calif. (60 percent); Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (15 percent), Puget Sound,

Bremerton, Wash. (10 percent); Sasebo, Japan (5 percent); Yokosuka, Japan (5

percent); and Guam (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 2007.

Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This

contract was awarded competitively.  The acquisition was synopsized in Navy

Electronic Commerce Online and advertised in Federal Business Opportunities as

a competitive Small Business 8(a) set-aside procurement, with seven offers

received.  The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego, Calif. is the

contracting activity (N00244-06-C-0024).







AIR FORCE







            Northrop Grumman Information Technology Inc., Azusa, Calif., is

being awarded a $7,218,157 cost plus award fee contract modification.  This

action provides for the Defense Support Program (DSP) spacecraft

post-production support contract, added in-scope due to launch slip covering

pre-launch requirement for the period ending 30 September 2006.  The

requirement consists of the following:  storage and storage support of the DSP

satellites in accordance with satellites environmental, requirements, annual

testing of stored satellites, trend analysis, integration returns (repairs and

return failed/obsolete component), perform safety analysis, load analysis,

maintain all Launch Vehicle and Launch Site Interface Documentation, meet all

launch site safety requirements, perform multiple readiness reviews and

rehearsals, test and prepare satellite for launch site, perform launch vehicle

integration, perform multiple integrated system tests, sustaining engineering

of the on-orbit satellites (multiple block build), early on orbit testing

support for newly launched satellites, anomaly resolution and flight

operations support for DSP constellation, operational performance analysis for

performance assessment, mission performance improvement, including

recommendations for retrofitting satellites in storage.  At this time,

$5,416,472 has been obligated.  Negotiations were complete March 2006.  This

work will be complete September 2006.  Headquarters Space and Missile Systems

Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity

_NAVY

            General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass, is being awarded $15,475,298 for a priced order (GB25) under a basic ordering agreement (FA8104-05-G-0003) for repair of various quantities of repairable components
of the T64 engine on the H53 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (83 percent), and Cherry Point, N.C. (17 percent), and is expected to be completed by April 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

            General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., is being awarded a $13,161,688 indefinite delivery/indefinite contract to provide for engineering change proposal to upgrade 698 existing fielded radio frequency modules v3.0 to v3.2 to provide engineering orderwire and advanced encryption standards that meets the Air Force requirements for Federal Information Processing standards 140-2 level 2 encryption for over the air transmission.             Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $7,842,633 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification.  This action provides for the Predator Imaging Laser Radar program, which demonstrates a 3-dimensional imaging laser radar sensor suitable for installation on an unmanned air vehicle (UAV) such as a Predator.  The program demonstrates that such a sensor can be produced in a size and weight that is compatible with a UAV while maintaining sensor performance that meets mission requirements.  At
this time, $555,954 has been obligated.  This work will be complete by May 2009.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-01-C-1419/P00010).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY



            Oceanic Medical Products, Inc., Atchison, Kan., * is being awarded a maximum $50,000,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for the Magellan portable anesthesia machine for Army.  There were more than 400 proposals submitted and 10 responded.  This is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract with a five year base period and five one-year options.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 31, 2011.  Contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0200-06-D8203).



NAVY



            Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $35,611,256 cost-plus-fixed fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-2102) for Naval nuclear propulsion components.  Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa. (68 percent) and Schenectady, N.Y. (32 percent). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  No additional information, including completion dates, is provided on contracts related to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.



            General Dynamics Land Systems, General Dynamics Amphibious Systems, Woodbridge, Va., is being awarded an $18,802,569 cost-reimbursable modification under a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract(M67854-01-C-0001) for the continuation of Systems Development and Demonstration (SDD) phase of the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) program. The work will be performed in Woodbridge, Va. (50 percent); Aberdeen, Md. (25 percent); and Camp Pendleton, Calif. (25 percent).  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia is the contracting activity.



            ComGlobal Systems, Inc., Campbell, Calif., is being awarded a $5,674,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering services for the intelligence situational
awareness system in support of Aegis ballistic missile defense testing.  Work will be performed at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kauai, Hawaii (95 percent) and the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu, Calif.(5 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2011.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-06-D-0015).



_ARMY



            Miltec Corp.*, Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on May 23, 2006, a $12,457,485 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the Army counter-space technology test bed.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (50 percent), and Iuka, Miss. (50 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were five bids solicited on April 8, 2004, and one bid was received.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-04-F-R019).



            Grove US L.L.C., Shady Grove, Pa., was awarded on May 22, 2006, a delivery order amount of $12,081,660 as part of a $65,223,900 firm-fixed-price contract for the material handling crane for the forward repair systemvehicle.  Work will be performed in Shady Grove, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 24, 2006.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52H09-06-D-5001).



            MSE Technology Applications*, Butte, Mt., was awarded on May 22, 2006, a $5,137,506 increment as part of a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the missile scale hypersonic wind tunnel technology.  Work will be performed inButte, Mt., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 24, 2004.  The U.S. Army Aviation and MissileCommand, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-04-C-R173).



_AIR FORCE



            Rockwell Scientific Co., LLC, Thousand Oaks, Calif., is being awarded a $7,894,750 cost plus fixed fee contract. This action provides for 10 aircrew laser eye protection Block 2 prototypes which will be delivered andoptions will include quantity for Initial Operational Test and Evaluation, Low-Rate Initial Production and Full Rate Production.  At this time, $3,029,400 has been obligated.  Solicitations began December 2005 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  This work will be complete June 2008. Human Systems Group, Brooks City-Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA8902-06-C-1002).



            Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $7,761,095 cost plus fixed fee contract modification.  This procurement of 24 Stage 2 production nozzles for the Propulsion Replacement Program effort on the ICBM prime integration contract.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete March 2008. Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.  (F42610-98-C-0001, at this time, no modification # has been assigned).



            Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Azusa, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,016,472 cost plus award fee contract modification. This action provides for the Defense Support Program (DSP) Spacecraft post-productionsupport contract, added in-scope due to launch slip covering pre-launch requirement for the period ending 30 September 2006.  The requirement consists of the following:  storage and storage support of the DSP satellites inaccordance with satellite environmental requirements, annual testing of stored satellites, trend analysis, integration returns (repairs and return failed/obsolete component), safety analysis, load analysis, maintain alllaunch vehicle and launch site interface documentation, all launch site safety requirements, multiple readiness reviews and rehearsals, test and prepare satellite for launch site, perform launch vehicle integration, performmultiple integrated system tests, sustaining engineering of the On-Orbit Satellites (multiple block build), early on orbit testing support for newly launched satellites, anomaly resolution and flight operations support for DSPconstellation, operational performance analysis for performance assessment, mission performance improvement, including recommendations for retrofitting satellites in storage.  At this time, $5,416,472 has been obligated.  Thiswork will be complete September 2006.  Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96-C-0031/P00173).
