_MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY



            Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a cost-plus-award fee contract modification for the continued systems engineering, design, development, fabrication, and testing of Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IA and IB Missiles for the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program.  The total estimated value of the contract modification is $424,019,656.  The work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. and is expected to be complete by 14 May, 2008.  None of the funds will expire at the end of the fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity (N00024-03-C-6111).



_AIR FORCE



            Interstate Electronics Corp., Anaheim, Calif., ($37,199,912), Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapid, Iowa, ($27,865,941), and Raytheon Co., El Segundo, Calif., ($37,771,001),  is being awarded a cost-plus-award fee
contract.   This action provides for research and development effort for global positioning system (GPS) modernized user equipment (MUE) program.  The primary objective for the MUE receiver card development program is to develop and demonstrate a modernized user segment receiver card, thus establishing a first proof of design for the modernized GPS architecture.  At this time, $21,000,000 has been obligated.  Solicitations began November 2005 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  This work will be complete October 2007. Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8807-06-C-0001, FA8807-06-C-0003, FA8807-06-C-0004).



            ATK Thiokol Propulsion, Corinne, Utah, is being awarded a $9,800,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.  This is a basic contract with a 5-year ordering period for aging and surveillance of peacekeeper stage II rocket motors.  At this time, $352,655 has been obligated.  Solicitations began March 2006 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  This work will be complete by May 2011.  Headquarters
Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8818-06-D-0031).



            Eagle Tool and Machine Co., Inc., Springfield, Ohio, is being awarded a $7,493,099 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract. This action provides for 104 (each) landing gear cylinder and piston
assemblies applicable to the C-5 aircraft.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Solicitations began March 2006 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah,
is the contracting activity (FA8203-06-C-0165).



_NAVY



            General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $29,278,740 firm-fixed-price order under the previously awarded indefinite/delivery, indefinite/quantity multi-award contract
(N00024-04-D-4408) for preparation and accomplishment of the FY06 Docking Selective Restricted Availability of USS Miami (SSN 755).  The contractor will perform advance planning, design documentation, engineering, procurement, ship-checks, fabrication and preliminary shipyard work and/or any other work necessary to prepare for and accomplish necessary alterations and repairs, maintenance, testing and routine work on the USS Miami.  Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by September 2006.  Contract funds in the amount of $23,397,089, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

_DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY



            Lankford Sysco Food Services, Pocomoke, Md., is being awarded a maximum $31,250,000 firm fixed price contract for prime vendor full line food service distribution.  Using services are Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Job Corps centers.  Proposals were Defense Supply Center Columbus Internet Bid Board System-solicited and four responded.  This is an indefinite delivery type contract exercising option year one of four one year options. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of
performance completion is May 28, 2007.  Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM3000-06-D3126).



_ARMY



            General Dynamics, Garland, Texas, was awarded on May 25, 2006, an $18,733,312 firm-fixed-price contract for BSU-85/B retarder fin assemblies. Work will be performed in Garland, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Nov. 18, 2005, and two bids were received.  The Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-06-C-0027).



            Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded on May 25, 2006, a $13,486,181 increment to a $445,360,149 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of horizontal technology integration second generation forward looking infrared block 1 A and B kits, spares, and technical/repair services to support Army fieldings and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole
source contract initiated on Feb. 14, 2006.  The Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-C-J204).

            NICO-PYROTECHNIK, Hanns-Jurgen, Diedeichs GmBH & Co. KG, Bei Der Feuerwerkeri 4, D22946, Trittau, Germany, is being awarded a $9,898,799 fixed-priced modification to previously awarded contract (N00178-02-C-1004) for development and limited production of the 40 MM cartridge, practice MK 281
MOD 0 and MK 281 MOD I, for the Marine Corps.  The contract contains requirements for testing and evaluation rounds.  The 40 MM cartridge is a practice round.  Work will be performed in Trittau, Germany, and is expected to be completed by April 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity.



_AIR FORCE



            ITT Industries Systems Division, Cape Canaveral, Fla., is being awarded a $6,688,216 cost plus award fee contract modification.  The Spacelift Range System contract is a not to exceed in the amount of $6,688,216 and will perform all management and support functions to acquire, develop, modify, install, and test hardware and software necessary to integrate an entire Central Command System (CCS) in the Western Range Operations Control Center (WROCC).  The WROCC requires a CCS in order to be integrated into the Mission Flight Control Center for WROCC activation.  The Central Command System is a range safety critical system used to issue destruct command to the Command Transmitter Sites in the event of an errant vehicle.   At this time, total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete February 2008.           Capco, Inc., Grand Junction, Colo., is being awarded a $6,207,509 firm fixed price contract.  This action provides for cartridge, dual impulse, BBU-48/B.  This function will eject chaff payload-which is used to protect
various aircraft to defeat radar detection, with a quantity of 829,881 each. At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Solicitations began February 2006 and negotiations were complete April 2006.  This work will be complete November 2007.  84th Munitions Sustainment Group, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8213-06-C-0033).

Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded an estimated $740,220,577 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for logistics vehicle system replacement vehicles with associated manuals, vehicle kits, test support and training.  The maximum ordering quantity will be 1,350 cargo variants, 150 wrecker variants and 400 fifth wheel variants.  The initial delivery order will be issued for $28,016,982 for 22 cargo variants, 2 wrecker variant, 2 fifth wheel variants, vehicle kits, training (operator/maintainer-cargo), test support-production verification testing cargo, meetings, and contract data requirements list  which satisfies all minimum quantities stated in the ID/IQ contract.  Work will be performed

_NAVY



            Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, New Orleans, La., is being awarded a $2,491,389,968 fixed-price incentive contract for construction of two LPD 17 Class amphibious transport dock ships (LPD 22 and 23), with long lead time materials and associated labor for a third (LPD 24).  In addition to ship production, this effort will include procurement of long lead material and also inspection, testing, storing and maintaining long lead material.  The
contractor will perform material sourcing, material ordering, vendor interface and material quality assurance.  In addition, the contractor will provide the management efforts including subcontract and risk management.  Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by October 2011.  Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-06-C-2222).



            Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $28,298,853 modification to an existing indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N66001-02-D-5013) for network, interior and submarine communications engineering systems support. The original contract included support for in-service engineering agent
services to support program management, engineering, technical requirements, integrated logistics support, fabrication, and non-integrated installation for command and control, communications, computers and intelligence systems.  This modification includes one potential six-month option, which, if awarded, would bring the cumulative value of this modification to $78,389,936.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be April 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This modification was issued on a sole-source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR 6.302-1).  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.



            Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $12,248,326 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the United Kingdom Technical Services in support of the TRIDENT strategic weapons systems.  Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed March 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.  The Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-06-C-0038).



            SCI Technology, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $9,988,870 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract to deliver tactical operations center inter-communications system (TOCNET)
modules to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston, S.C., Code 61 (C4I Systems Division).  The contract will provide for delivery of modules to support Marine Corps, command and control on-the-move network digital over-the-horizon relay, and other Marine Corps programs of record.  The ordering period under this commercial contract is expected to be completed by May 31, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was a sole source acquisition, therefore, not competitively procured.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-06-D-6255).



            DG21, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded $9,348,396 for Modification A00420 under previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity award fee provisions contract (N62742-98-D-4500) to exercise the eighth option
period for base operating support services.  The work to be performed provides for all management, labor, administration, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment to provide integrated base operating services at the U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia.  After exercise of this modification, the total cumulative contract amount will be $310,551,127.  Work will be performed in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, and is expected to be
completed by September 2006.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The basic contract was competitively procured with 28 proposals solicited, two offers received, and award made to DG21 on March 8,
1999.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.



            Talley Defense Systems, Mesa, Ariz., is being awarded a $5,380,490 fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00178-05-C-1017) for initial fielding and limited production of M72AS trainer launchers, M72AS 21mm sub-caliber trainer rockets, and M72A7 lightweight anti-tank weapons (LAW) with graze fuze function, HE, 66 mm, for the Marine Corps.  The system is a man-portable LAW that consists of a disposable launcher and rocket in one self-contained package.  The modification will add and require delivery of 2,517 additional M72A7 LAW W/Graze Fuze, for the Navy and Marine Corps.  Work will be performed at Mesa, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by May 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity.



            The U.S. Navy is awarding indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts to 251 contractors that will provide for their competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the Marine Corps.  The 22 functional service areas within the scope of the contracts include
1. Research and development support. 
2. Engineering system engineering and process engineering support.
3. Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support. 
4. Prototyping, pre-production, model-making, and fabric support.
5. System design documentation and technical data support. 
6. Software engineering, development, programming, and network support.

8. Human factors, performance, andusability engineering support. 
9.  System safety engineering support. 
10. Configuration management support. 
11. Quality assurance support. 
12. Information system development, information assurance, and information technology support.

16. Acquisition logistics support. 
17. Supply and provisioning support. 
18. Training support.
19.In-service engineering, fleet introduction, installation and checkout support.

These contracts are in addition to the existing 648 contracts previously awarded under the SeaPort Enhanced
(SeaPort-e) acquisition program for services procurements. The government estimates a maximum of $5,300,000,000 of services will be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e multiple award contracts.  The awards have a three-year base period with one five-year award term and one additional two-year award term.  These contracts were competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online, with 253 offers received and 251 contracts awarded.  Contract funds will be obligated at the time of task order award and
as such, multiple funding types (with varying expiration dates) may be used, consistent with the purpose for which the funds were appropriated.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division,
Dahlgren, Va. is the contracting activity (N00178-06-D-4669-N00178-06-D-4919).

AIR FORCE



            McDonnell Douglas Corp., St Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $70,000,000 cost plus fixed fee and firm fixed price contract.  This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity basic contract is for aircraft integration for the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapon system.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above.  Solicitations began January 2006 and negotiations were complete in May 2006.  This work will be complete April 2011.  Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity.

            McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $19,000,000 cost plus fixed fee contract modification.  This is a modification to the C-17 Globemaster III Sustainment Partnership (GSP) contract to
incorporate the CY06 Block 14-16 Global Reach Improvement Program (GRIP) retrofit projects.  The CY06 Block 14-16 GRIP Projects incorporate retrofit efforts for the following five projects: 1) Mobility 2000 (M2K airline
operational capability and printer, 2) Secure enroute communications, package improved, 3)  Communications open systems architecture, 4) Weather radar replacement, 5) Stabilizer struts system redesign.  At this time, $9,500,000
has been obligated.  This work will be complete March 2008.  Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.  (FA8614-04-C-2004/P00115)



            ATK Thiokol Propulsion, Corinne, Utah, is being awarded a $17,572,444 cost plus fixed fee contract modification.  This action provides for research and development, the research and development effort seeks to
evaluate technologies in an advanced 3rd stage configuration that might be applicable as a replacement to the third stage of an existing Minutemean III rocket system.  Phase II involves detailed design test and manufacturing
reviews of motor hardware to be fabricated.  The reviews shall include detailed drawings, analysis, and any data generated to support the design of hardware to be test fired.  The contractor will fabricate motor and test
hardware and conduct any checkout testing identified in the preliminary Phase II test and instrumentation plan and coordinate test requirements with the Air Force.  This action exercises the Phase II Option of the contract and implements a period of performance form 1 June 2006 through 31 May 2010.At this time, total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete May 2010.  Headquarters 526th ICBM Systems Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.  (FA8204-06-C-0013/P00001)



            Aerojet General Corp., Sacramento, Calif., is being awarded a $17,499,931 cost plus fixed fee contract modification.  This action provides for Research and Development, The Research and Development effort seeks to

            Harris Radio Corp., Rochester, N.Y., was awarded on May 31, 2006, a delivery order amount of $7,833,682 as part of a $32,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the M31E2 Joint Biological Point Detection
System/Biological Integrated Detection Systems High Frequency Radio.  Work will be performed in Rochester, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2010.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on April 6, 2006.  The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W911SR-05-D-0002).

pylons, panels, generators, power units, battery chargers, fuel tanks, regulators, power units, fuel nozzles, valves, pumps, filters, heat exchangers, speed control indicators, fuel control panels, turbines, helmet canopies, rafts, landing gear struts, arresting hook actuators, etc.  In additions, repair or maintenance is contracted for such items as engines or test stands.  Task orders are also used to conduct studies, analysis or obtain technical assistance that may require technician's travel to a county that requires this type of support.  The aircraft and weapon system includes are C-47, T-33, T-37, C-130, F-111, F-4, F-5 and the F-16.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although the actual requirements may be less than the amount indicated above. At this time, no funds have been obligated.  Negotiations were complete in May 2006.  This work will be complete December 2006.  Headquarters Air Force Security Assistance Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-D-2014/P00035).



            Lockheed Martin Corp., Maritime Systems and Sensors, Akron, Ohio, is being awarded a $10,251,024 cost plus fixed fee contract.  This contract is associated with the Integrated Sensor IS Structure Critical Technology
Development Program.  The purpose of this acquisition is to perform preliminary design/analysis, development, production and validation testing of an advanced hull material.  The effort also includes developing the process to
adhere both solar panels and radar arrays to the materials.  Thirty hull material samples will be delivered to other ISIS contractors.  At this time, $4,000,000 has been obligated.  Solicitations began September 2005 and
negotiations were complete in May 2006.  This work will be complete May 2008. Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (FA8750-06-C-0050).

            Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc., New Braunfels, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $406,565,302 fixed-price with economic price adjustment for turbine fuel.  The using services are Army, and Air Force.  Other locations of performance are Athens, Greece and Ghent, Belgium.  Proposals were Web-solicited and 21 responded.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The date of performance completion is June 30, 2007. _NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY



            The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) today awarded a multiple-year, $176 million learning management contract to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems and Solutions. The Learning Management Services (LMS) contract, HM1576-06-C-0007, covers a 5-year period-a base year and four one-year options. It supports NGA's Human Development Directorate by providing NGA employees, elements of the Department of Defense and members of the Intelligence Community with mission-essential technical skills training, systems training, and leadership and intelligence professional education.  LMS efforts will primarily be performed in the greater Washington, D.C. and St. Louis, Mo., areas. NGA Headquarters in Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity.

_NAVY



            Woodward Governor Co., Ft. Collins, Colo., is being awarded an $11,608,210 fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a maximum 60 CG-47 class ship Full Digital Authority Controller Local Control Panels (FDAC LOCOP), Woodward Governor Co., part number 9900-1002.  The contract shall provide FDAC LOCOP units to operate, control, and monitor the operation of Rolls Royce 501-K17 gas turbine engines aboard CG 47 class ships. The FDAC LOCOP and Rolls Royce 501-K17 engines are used to supply electricity to the ship.  Work will be performed in Ft. Collins, Colo., and is expected to be completed by June 2010.

            Document and Packaging Brokers Inc.*, Pelham, Ala., was awarded on June 1, 2006, a delivery order amount of $40,633,954 as part of a $162,658,448 firm-fixed-price contract for marketing services and supplies.  Work will be performed in Pelham, Ala., and is expected to be completed by May 29, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on April 18, 2006.  The Army National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (W9133L-05-D-0011).



            Government Technology Services Inc., Chantilly, Va., was awarded on June 1, 2002, a delivery order amount of $23,981,645 as part of a $126,885,933 firm-fixed-price contract for Microsoft select variable software
license for the family of existing Microsoft products.  Work will be performed in Falls Church, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This
was a sole source contract initiated on April 17, 2002.  The Defense Contracting Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (DASW01-02-F-1062).



            Harper Construction Co., Inc., San Diego, Calif., was awarded on June 1, 2006, a $20,969,438 firm-fixed-price contract for the removal and replacement of three and four bedroom residential units.  Work will be performed at Fort Sill, Okla., and is expected to be completed by July 5, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. _NAVY



            The Applied Research Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University (ARL/PSU), State College, Pa., is being awarded a $444,876,657 modification under previously awarded sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee,
indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, task order contract (N00024-02-D-6604) to exercise an option for approximately 3,420,900 staff hours of research and development and specialized engineering support.  The
initial task order issued under this modification is $48,647,973 for 341,216 staff hours of effort in support of Navy requirements.  This contract option exercise will provide research and development, test and evaluation and
specialized engineering capabilities in the areas of advanced guidance and navigation, thermal propulsion, advanced hydrodynamics and hydroacoustics, advanced materials and manufacturing sciences, and advanced atmospheric and undersea communications.  These capabilities have been established and maintained at ARL/PSU over time and are determined essential to the Navy's needs. Work will be performed in State College, Pa., and is expected to be completed by October 2011.  Contract funds used for the initial task order will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.



            The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $20,752,191 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00019-04-C-3146) for additional technical, financial, and administrative
services in support of the System Development and Demonstration Phase of the Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft.  Work will be performed in Windsor Locks, Conn. (50 percent), Seattle, Wash. (30 percent), and Rockford, Ill. (20
percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2012.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River Md., is the contracting activity.

            BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Inc, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $7,481,246 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-01-C-0077) to exercise an option for technical and
engineering support services for the development, procurement, integration, testing, installation and certification of shipboard communication systems; the development and integration of like systems at shore sites associated with the deployment of, or fleet support to, surface combatants; and the development, testing and integration of mobile and airborne communication systems designed to interface with the command, control, communication,
computers and intelligence architecture of surface combatants.  The estimated level of effort for this option is 125,300 man-hours.  Work will be performed in California, Md. (80 percent); St. Inigoes, Md. (10 percent), Bath, Maine (5 percent); and Pascagoula, Miss. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December June 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

            Gichner Systems Group Inc., Dallastown, Pa., was awarded on June 7, 2006, a delivery order amount of $6,054,316 as part of a $7,308,654 firm-fixed-price contract for Production of Type I and III Lightweight
Multipurpose Shelters.  Work will be performed in Dallastown, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids

(80 percent) and Thorofare, N.J. _AIR FORCE



            New Beginning Enterprises Inc., Johnson City, Tenn., is being awarded a $37,653,916 contract.  This action provides for an internet-based contractors operated parts store (ICOPARS), which will provide a venue for personnel in the Southwest Asia area of operations to purchase vehicle parts. The government shall require contractor delivery of specific products by issuance of delivery orders.  At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be complete June 2011.  20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., is the contracting activity (FA4803-06-D-0002).



            Akamai Physics Inc., Las Cruces, N.M., is being awarded a $10,296,089 cost-plus-fixed- fee contract modification.  The Bright Onyx is a compact, active multi-spectral chemical sensor operating in the 5-um region
for remote chemical detection of chemicals associated with weapons of mass destruction that may be transported on ships inbound to United States ports. The Bright Onyx sensor must operate at UAV airspeeds and ranges with detection sensitivities of 10ppm*m and meet UAV power, weight, and size requirements. At this time, $2,795,000 has been obligated.  Solicitations began March 2006 and negotiations were complete June 2006.  This work will be complete June 2008.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FS8650-04-C-1714/P00004).



            Telephonics Corp., Farmingdale, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,357,234 firm fixed price contract.  This action will upgrade the Flight Test Brassboard Identity Friend of Foe Interrogator and obtain AIMS certification for the Mod 5/S AN/UPX-40 interrogator at the box level.  Which will perform environmental testing electro metric integrates/electro metric condition, vibration/shock and temperature/humidity tests, etc).  Integrate crypto units so that the platform can procure the interrogator for individual platform integration purpose.  At this time, total funds have been obligated. Solicitations began February 2006 and negotiations were complete May 2006. This work will be complete January 2008.  Airborne Early Warning & Control Systems Group, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (FA8704-06-C-0001).
