Get Anyone Naked With the Pic Bubbler iPhone App



Perverts rejoice, for someone has released an iPhone bubbling app. Its name is Pic Bubbler, and it allows you to see anyone naked by using an optical trick and your twisted brain. I tried it. It works.

Pic Bubbler is very easy to use. First, you load an image of someone in their swimsuit—woman or man—from your photo album. The program then applies a transparent layer, which can be punctured using your finger. Just click anywhere you want to open a hole, making sure the hole never shows the clothing. To change the position of the hole, just use your finger. To scale it, pinch in or out.



The controls are good. I'd recommend you use your two fingers to scale and move the hole around at all times. That way you will have more control and compensate for the iPhone's small screen. When you are done, you just have to save your image (either to your photo album or to the application's own storage area, which saves the active bubbles so you can get back to your masterpiece later.

Sadly, the application is not perfect. The iPhone's screen size feels to small. This should have been a universal application, running on the iPad's big screen at full res. It also doesn't handle horizontal pictures well, transforming them into vertical pictures with blank bands on top and bottom, like this capture shows.

But most importantly—and developers better listen up—I and everyone in the planet want this to be an automatic filter. Manual hole punching? Come on! Humanity hasn't spent billions of dollars and hours in artificial intelligence and image recognition research so you go on and release a manual bubbling application!

Yahoo Messenger 2.0 for iPhone Brings Video Calling from iPhone 4 to PC / Mac and Vice Versa

Yahoo Messenger app for iPhone received a significant update today which enables video and voice calling from the iPhone client to virtually any Yahoo Messenger account in the world. You can now make iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 video calls, as well as iPhone 4 to PC / Mac and vice versa.



Moreover, it also supports video and voice calling over 3G networks, unlike Apple’s FaceTime feature. Unfortunately though, video calling using iPod touch 4G  isn’t supported yet, and we are not sure why is that, given that the front-facing camera on both the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G are same.

VLC Media Player To Be Available Soon For The iPhone



One of the things I hate about my iPhone the most, is being limited in the video file extensions it can play out of the box. The VLC Media Player is a free and open source multimedia player which reads almost every video file extension available, but which currently only works for the iPad. Our good news today is that its developer Applidium has just confirmed they've submitted a new update for the App which'll not only allow more file extensions to be played, but which will also bring universal support for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

On the positive side, this is a free app you'll be able to take for a spin and know if it does the job for you. On the negative side, it'll only support the newer iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, or any of the iPod Touches of the same generation. Since the decoding is not done through hardware, don't expect 720p to do a good job most of the time.

But again, pros and cons aside, it's totally free, so hit the iTunes link soon and give it a test drive.

Beamed: Experience the Physics of Light

glimmerWave software has announced the release and immediate availability of Beamed 1.01, a spectacular Free puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod touch that lets users directly experience the Physics of Light.

Beamed enables players to directly manipulate colored light beams by placing prisms, mirrors and beamsplitters within an optical maze. Each level contains one red, one green and one blue laser and an array of colored jewels sprinkled throughout a maze. By dragging optical elements from the toolbar, players combine, split and bounce colored light beams through the maze to match the color of each jewel.
