Concept Phone Of The Future Nokia E97 'Envelop' by Fabien Nauroy



A young design student Fabien Nauroy from the Creapole ESDI, creation and management school in Paris, France has managed to came up with an awesome phone concept that smashes together eye catching design, beautiful style and the innovative form factor combined with supreme functionality and is a real pleasure to look at.

It seems that Fabien has the imagination that most of the famous Nokia’s designers are looking for!

Nokia E97 'Envelop' look gorgeous and is revolutionary enough to shock and change the whole Smartphone world, change our perception of the mobile phones and increase exceptions, simply awesome creation!

It is hard to define this form factor but it features the outer QWERTY keyboard and the basic monochrome OLED display supported with a side sliding tear-off high-definition AMOLED widescreen.

In a matter of fact, this secret pull-out main display is what makes Envelop’ attractive and what should make consumer desire this product! Screen is detachable and has its own power and memory so it can be used as a digital photo frame, movie screen, internet tablet or e-book reader for example.

Both the style and functions are equally important when you are working on a new device and this concept Eseries communicator combines this two worlds into one and it will be definitely fun to play with!

treba da uzmem novi telefon,6630 je poceo da se dekompozira polako (nemam masku u predelu ekrana,mikrofona,kamere, i jos jedna stvar fali,al se tesko objasnjava,tako da necu da je objasnjavam)...

Nokia to launch 3 touchphones this fall. Adds Immersion’s haptics vibration feedback

Well, it looks like Nokia is finally getting real serious about the touchscreen phones.

After wetting their feet in touch with 5800 XpressMusic and then coming up with top of the line Nokia N97, they must have liked it and now  are ready for more.

According to TheStreet.com, Nokia is working on no less the 3 different thin touchscreen phones. And they will be adding haptics vibration feedback from Immersion technologies to them.

These new Nokia touchphones should be out as early as this fall, people “familiar with the matter” say

I just wonder whatever happened to Nokia’s own Haptikos touch feedback technology that they’ve been playing in the labs. I guess it’s not ready for the primetime yet.

Nokia Aeon takes the leading role?




Nokia products are not really camera shy - you’ve seen them in supporting roles in many high-profile movies, the last example being the 5800 XpressMusic in The Dark Knight. The Echelon Conspiracy might not have been shot with such a high budget, but then again, it’s the first movie where a phone gets to play the leading role. Well okay, if you believed the credits, the leading role is actually taken by one Shane West, but we know better than that.
 
The most interesting part in the movie is actually played by an exotic handset that looks almost visually identical with the Nokia Aeon concept we’ve seen before. The device has two touch-sensitive screens, the smaller one playing the role of a keypad or contextual menu buttons. The name of Nokia is never mentioned in the film and the device is introduced as the “GZT 650”, but then again, Batman’s phone was not really advertised as a Nokia product either.

A few months back we thought the Aeon will probably end up as one of those concepts that never get to mass production, but now, between the rumors of Nokia preparing to launch at least three unannounced touch screen devices and the movie, we’re not quite sure anymore.
What do you think? Is it just another case of advertising before the official announcement, or a coincidence?
