Hydrogen Powered Phone


This cell phone is powered by a Hydrogen fuel cell that works by extracting hydrogen from water, then extracting electrons from the hydrogen. It is a water-powered phone, in a sense.

Of course, some energy is needed to break water into hydrogen for now, but it’s conceivable that solar energy or another crazy tech like the electricity generating cloth could help. Strangely, there’s no word on what the battery life if this phone is. Isn’t that the main point for users?

Top 10 phones for 3D performance



Pocketgamer has been busy, working out which handsets on the market have the best 3D performance - of course, this is a somewhat subjective measure, because as anyone familiar with benchmarking knows, if you give a processor a task it excels at compared with others, it is bound to win! Anyhoo, the test in question here is "OpenGL ES 1.0 processing" - which is one of the industry graphics standards.

The results come from Hungarian company Kishonti, which specialises in measuring the performance of mobile devices. It uses it's GLBenchmark to run the graphics on the handset, and generate a rating. And to re-iterate, this is a specific 3D test - so it doesn't follow these are the best devices for 3D gaming, or other tasks - nonetheless, the results are interesting!

The full list is below, but in short, Nokia's NSeries is all over the results - withe the N93 coming out surprisingly as the winner (!). Also in there are some Dell PDAs (a bit unfair methinks since they are quite a bit larger, and not phones!), but also the Motorola Z8. Actually I am not surprised the Z8 is there, given the hardware they managed to stuff in to it - it really dpes deserve the moniker given to it of "Media Monster"

Zanimljivo,samo kada bi jos malo uposlili tu sjajnu grafiku na N seriji tek bi onda bilo lepo iskoriscene graficke mogucnosti Moja N95 8gb tek na 5 mestu

Nokia N93 four times faster at 3D graphics than N81

3D graphics benchmarks aren't the 'be all and end all' when it comes to games playing performance, but they're a good clue as to how capable a device is. So it was interesting to find out about a regularly updated and bookmarkable table of OpenGL ES benchmarked smartphones. It's topped by the 'if you believe Nokia' obsolete N93 and the N-Gage 1st access smartphone, the N81, comes in a lowly 22nd. Read on for comment.

As evidenced by the 'where's the N93 update?' outcry when we announce news of new firmware for other devices, the N93 does seem to be 'the device that Nokia has forgotten', despite the stellar showing here and despite the fabulous video recording and (recorded) sound quality. Nokia - this used to be THE flagship, it's still the fastest and best for many applications, even in 2008, and yet we haven't had a firmware update for years!

Also high up in the 3D benchmark table are the N93i (essentially the same as the N93 under the hood), the N82 and N95 variants, followed shortly by the VGA-screened Dell Axims, the UIQ 3-powered Motorola Z8 and the Nokia E90. Everything else, on all platforms, is a long, long way behind....

The necessity for 3D graphics acceleration hardware (as in the N95, N93, N82 and E90 above) for gaming is a moot point. You'd have thought that this would be a requirement for next-gen N-Gage games, but it seems that most titles are built around software-rendered graphics and have the likes of the N81 and N73 as their baseline.

New idea of Samsung gaming phone

We’ve recently seen some tries to create a dedicated gaming phone- for example, Nokia N-Gage gaming smartphone, which turned to be a failure. There were also several possible gaming phone designs and R&D concepts. This time Samsung filed a patent application for its next gaming phone.


Looking like an ordinary clamshell, it has definite changes in design - its inner display swings away to landscape mode and reveals another keypad with game controls underneath. The developers left some space for an additional speaker, allowing better sound effects. However this form doesn’t provide any opportunity for a compact and slim housing. It’s not yet clear whether Samsung and other vendors would implement the idea in new products soon.

Google gets even chummier with S60, releases search app



By default, home screen search is a luxury reserved only for Nokia's very newest S60 handsets, but Google's looking to change all that -- and you don't have to wait for the N78 or N96, either. The searchmeisters have just released a native S60-based application that adds Google search directly to your device's home screen, shaving a few precious seconds off the amount of time required to figure out the capital of Mozambique (Maputo, by the way) or the phone number of that awesome Cuban joint up the street. Now, what'd be really cool is if the app supported GPS for location-based results instead of requiring a zip code, but we suppose they've got to leave something to keep us pining for the next version.

Nego sto se nesme nista pisati o n96 ja bas hteo jedan mali ugodjaj o ovom telefonu da dam ,kad procitah :zabranjeno dok ne izadje u prodaju!A ovde ga vec prodaju neki!Misim...
A evo ga i oglas da se prodaje bas tu kod mene pored !
Ako oglas ne laze , za N96  trazi 450€ ali nesto je tu jako smrdljivo al nema veze,volo bi da ga vidim pa makar bio i dumi !
