The light on your Xbox 360's power supply may turn red. This article contains step-by-step guidance to help you determine your situation and then guides you through ways to resolve the problem.
Cause:
This issue occurs when the external power supply has detected a fault. The power supply has several built-in safeguards to help prevent damage to either the console or to the power supply itself. The power supply will turn itself off if one of the following conditions is true:
* When there is too much current * When the voltage is too high * When the temperature of the power supply is too high
Under these conditions, the light on the power supply will turn red.
One of the lights on the Ring of Light on the front of your Xbox 360 console flashes red, you receive error code E67, or E68, or E69, and you receive a system error message: “Contact Xbox Customer Support"
Symptoms
The lower-right quadrant of the Ring of Light flash red on the front of your Xbox 360 console. You also receive one of the following error message in multiple languages on your television screen or your monitor: Error message 1
