A, ja tako volim da razmrsavam te zavrzlame  Googlacu dalje

First new generation of Russian-made T-14 Armata main battle tank were delivered to Russian army

According Sputnik Russian press agency, the new Russian-made T-14 Armata main battle tank based on the Armata platform will be presented at a night-time parade rehearsal as soon as Friday, March 6, 2015. The Russian next-generation T-14 Armata main battle tank, due to be unveiled at the Red Square Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9 will appear in public at an advance parade rehearsal, according to a source in the defense industry, Russian news website Lenta.Ru reported.

The latest rehearsal for what is planned to be the biggest Victory Day parade in Russia's recent history is scheduled for Friday, at 6:45 a.m., so it's possible that the Armata tank will appear as soon as this week.

However, the tank will appear in a camouflage that will distort it's silhouette and make it impossible to examine its exact configuration. The technique, practiced by car manufacturers to protect prospective models from espionage, will likely be adapted for the Armata. One existing technology to conceal a tank's shape is the Nakidka, developed by Moscow's Steel Research Institute, which also conceals a tank's thermal, infrared and radar signatures.

The first 20 T-14 Armata main battle tanks were handed over to the military earlier in February. It was initially thought that the new tank would be revealed then, but authorities decided to keep the tank's details a secret.

The T-14 (Object 149) main battle tank is based on the Armata platform, which has been in development at Uralvagonzavod since 2009. Other than the tank, the platform will be used for armored fighting vehicles (AFVs), self-propelled guns (SPGs), engineering vehicles and other uses.

The Armata tank will reportedly feature a remotely controlled gun and fully automated loading, as well as a separate crew compartment made from composite materials and protected by multilayered armor.

The tank will go through state trials in 2016, and it is expected that by 2020, over 2,300 tanks on the Armata platform will be supplied to the military.

The Russian Company Uralvagonzavod is responsible for the design and development of the new Russian main battle tank MBT T-14 Armata for 2013 with the delivery of the first prototypes for 2015. The first reports indicate that the new Armata could be based on the Russian main battle tank T-95 Object 195 and the project tank "Black Eagle" which was presented to the public at the Omsk defence exhibition in 1999. The Armata will have more firepower than the latest generation of main battle tank T-90. The Armata will be fitted with a new unmanned remote weapon station turret. Russian experts believe that the appearance of the remotely controlled gun would eventually lead to the development of a fully robotic tank which could be deployed as part of a spearhead in the offensive. The Russia Defense Ministry said the field testing of the new MBT Armata was expected to start in 2014. The first deliveries of the tank to the Russian Armed Forces are scheduled for 2015. A total of 2,300 MBTs are expected to be supplied by 2020.
 
Armament
The new unmanned remote turret would of the T-14 Armata be equipped with new generation of 125mm smoothbore gun with an automatic loader and 32 rounds ready to use. The first scale model of the Armata unveiled in July 2012 showed that the vehicle has a secondary weapon that could be a 57mm grenade launcher mounted on the left of the turret, and a machine gun 12.7 mm mounted on the right side.
Design and protection
The T-14 Armata would be composed of two main parts, the chassis with three crew members and an unmanned remote controlled turret weapons station. There is three hatches at the front of the hull, with with the driver position in the middle. The three-man crew consisting of driver mechanic, gunner and commander are seated in a special armoured capsule, separated by an armoured bulkhead from the automatic loader and turret with externally mounted main armament. The crew compartment will be also isolated from the motor compartment to increase survivability on the battlefield. This design feature makes it possible not only to reduce the silhouette of the MBT and therefore make it less observable on the battlefield, but also considerably enhance crew safety and survivability. The Armata will probably be protected with additional active and passive armour.
Propulsion
Russian T-14 Armata will be equipped with a multifuel Diesel engine developing 1,400 to 1,600 hp. There is information that the Armata would also have electric transmission to reduce weight of the vehicle and increase the use of add-on armour. Suspension consists on each side of seven dual rubber-tyred road wheels.
Accessories
Standard equipment of T-14 Armata includes probably day and night vision equipment, NBC system, front mounted dozer blade, fire detection and suppression system and a battle management system as modern Russian-made main battle tanks. The new Armata also have latest generation of active protection defensive aids suite. A computerized fire-control system is fitted to enable stationary and moving targets to be engaged with a very high first round hit probability.

Twenty Russian T-14 Armata main battle tanks delivered in February and review of Armata variants

    The platform’s chief tank (T-14) sports an unmanned remotely controlled turret armed with a brand new 125 mm 2A82-1M smoothbore cannon. Its muzzle energy is greater than one of the world’s previously considered best cannons: the German Leopard-2 Rheinmetall 120 mm gun. The 125 mm gun has 15-20 percent improved accuracy and its rolling fire angular dispersion has improved 1.7 times. According to Russian media, the Armata tank might also come with a specially developed 152 mm gun, the most powerful ever cannon to be mounted on a main battle tank.







The Armata is designed as a modular universal combat platform that could be used as a basis for a variety of combat vehicles, including main battle tanks, fire support, mine clearing, heavy flame throwing and bridge laying vehicles, according to Russian state-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport.

Variants that will use the Armata chassis

    The "Armata" platform is intended to be the basis for a main battle tank, a heavy infantry fighting vehicle, a combat engineering vehicle, an armoured recovery vehicle, a heavy armoured personnel carrier, a tank support combat vehicle and several types of self-propelled artillery under the same codename based on the same chassis

    According to preliminary reports, the new tank designated T-14 will be less radical and ambitious than the canceled ‘Object 195’ or T-95, it will weigh less, therefore, become more agile and will be more affordable, compared to its more ambitious predecessors. Additionally, the Kurganets-25 tracked armored vehicle provides high degree of commonality with the new Armata tank. The Kurganets-25 will evolve into various models, gradually replacing BMP and BMD and MT-LB and other types of tracked armored platforms. The Kurganets-25 will have modular armor that can be upgraded for specific threats, be armed with a 2A42 30 mm autocannon, and have four Kornet-EM anti-tank guided missile launchers.

    The Armata will use a new type of lightweight armor designated 44S-SV-SH, developed by Steel Scientific Research Institute enterprise. This armor does not lose its qualities when used in extremely low temperatures, an indication of Russia's military interest in the Arctic.

The Armata tank will have a remote weapon station turret and an automated control system, with the crew protected by an armored capsule. It will have an externally mounted 125 mm gun with 32 rounds of ammunition; in addition to tank rounds, a new laser-guided missile able to be fired from the main gun with a tandem anti-tank warhead and a range of 5,000 m (16,000 ft) is planned to be created. The secondary armament will consist of a 30 mm cannon and a 12.7 mm machine gun.



Kurganets-25: Tracked infantry fighting vehicle

    Strategy Page indicates in 2014 Russia began testing the newly built prototypes of its new Kurganets 25 IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle). This is based on the Armata chassis and will eventually replace all the existing BMP and BMD IFVs. The 25 ton Kurganets 25 will have a front mounted engine, a crew of three and carry six or seven infantry.

Led by wartime President Vladimir Putin, Russia has shifted into full-speed arms race mode. Despite instituting widespread spending cuts throughout its economy, America's once-and-future adversary has announced plans to boost its military spending significantly, bringing online:

    A massive, 65-ton beast of a 21st-century supertank -- of which Russia plans to build 2,300
    $9 billion worth of high-tech drone aircraft
    150 new combat aircraft and helicopters for Russia's Arctic forces
    40 new and reactivated warships, including nuclear-powered attack submarines, a nuclear "boomer," and a refurbished missile cruiser dubbed the Admiral Nakhimov -- nuclear-powered, of course.

The Kirov-class guided missile cruiser Kalinin -- also Soviet-built -- has now been renamed Admiral Nakhimov. The Russians are rushing to refurbish it -- and maybe to paint it, too. Source: U.S. Navy.

And now it's official. In addition to the 40 warships mentioned already, Russia is building a new aircraft carrier.
And this one's gonna be nuclear.

Soviet means "excellent!"
There's an old Russian saying, dating from the Soviet Union, that "Soviet means excellent." By building the world's largest aircraft carrier (scheduled to appear sometime in the 2030s), Russia will try to prove that point. Interfax quotes Russian Navy Deputy Commander Rear Adm. Viktor Bursuk boasting that Russia's new aircraft carrier "will be a versatile warship equipped with manned and unmanned aircraft systems and also robotic systems capable of operating in all possible environments, including outer space."

Russian-language website Chto Proishodit ("What's Happening?") further clarifies that the carrier will be the only one in the world capable of carrying 100 warplanes (America's new Gerald R. Ford-class carriers will carry up to 90). TVZvezda.ru reports the carrier's air wing will probably include next-generation T-50 stealth fighter jets in addition to MiG-29Ks, airborne early-warning aircraft such as U.S. carriers carry, and anti-submarine warfare Ka-32 helicopters. Despite the aircraft carrier's size, which makes it the world's largest, the website argues that it will sport only a small "island" topside, making it harder to spot on radar -- in other words, "stealthy."

And while Commander Bursuk says that Russia's new carrier "will significantly differ from heavy aircraft cruisers that our Navy used to have," the website further avers that it will carry "rocket weapons" in addition to aircraft. The title of TVZvezda's article: "The Nuclear Stealth-Monster."
