tel mi se sam poveze na kucni wireless tj facebook i ovaj weather .ja izgasim kad vidim opet gore kad ga koristim (npr poruke) on se povezao 

Kako Promeniti Product Code na Nokia N97

The step-thru will allow people on older versions of FW to upgrade to the latest version V20. Regardless of what country you are in.

Before going any further, as usual we have to have the warnings;

Please read through the guide first, and if you are unsure about anything, then do not start it.

This site will not accept any blame or liability for any issues that may occur following the guide.

Ok after saying that, I can assure you this guide is exactly what I did, and it only took a few moments to change the product code. Run the upgrade, and change the code back again.

This stepthru was done using Vista 64bit Ultimate, so shouldn't be any problems on other Windows platforms.

Step 1.

Please backup any data before you start. And then check the backup is ok.


Step 2.

You will need to know what the product is for your phone. You will find this on the label inside the battery compartment. It is a seven digit number and will start with 05*****


Step 3.

You will need to down load Nemesis Service Suite (NSS) V 1.0.38.15.  It is free (not even a trial period) and can be download from HERE

You do not need the Nokia Tool. Just download Nemesis Service Suite Beta 1.0.38.15 (zip file,6.95 MB)


Step 4.



Unzip the file and run the install.


Step 5.

Connect your N97 to your PC, and select Nokia Suite, this will not work on Mass Storage mode. But you must close Nokia Suite on your pc if it is running.



Click on the magnifying glass to scan for your phone. It should pick it up in a few seconds.


Step 6.

Once you phone has been detected, please select the Phone Info button, and then the scan button.



If you see a message "Scan for product Error!" please reconnect your phone making sure you select PC Suite. Not Mass Storage.




Step 7.

Once your phone details are in the Details/Information view plane, then enter the new product code you want to use in the Product Code field, and tick the Enable box.

For the list of codes, please see the end of this stepthru.

This is what NSS should look like before clicking on the Write button. Please do not use any other options or buttons! I haven't tested them.






Step 8.

With your new product code entered and the enable box ticked, select the Write button below the enable boxes.

After a few moments the job will be done. You will see the message "Write new values....Done"

You can now close NSS, and run the NSU and it should pick up V12 to install. Once installed, your phone will restart.

If your phone doesn't restart, or you are not happy with the way it is performing after, then please follow the spinlala post to do a hard reset.

Extra!  Since posting this, some people have experienced lines and flickering screens. Do not panic, simply follow the hard reset and it will start again correctly.

HARD RESET DETAILS HERE!

If for some reasons your N97 Stuck at the nokia screen or you want to rest your phone without *#7370# so here we Go.

Power Off the phone, if its hanged just pull out the battery and the insert again. Now before Power Off, Press "Shift Key" "Space Bar" and "Back Space" buttons at the same time and then press the power button.


Your phone should retain all your personal data on it, including any security PIN's you have setup.

Once this is done, you can repeat the above process and enter your original product code. This will not affect the upgrade at all.

Please, Note if you use Nokia Push email, you will need to revert back to your original product code to use your previous email settings. And any other account associated with your hand set, ie OVI etc.

Also if you have to return the phone for any warranty claims, you should make sure you have the original code set.

For people like myself in the UK, you can use the european code 0570817:RM-505_EMEA_EURO_QW1 Black. This worked for me.

Please note there may be more recent updates for your country, so try a Google search for your country N97 product code.

Well that is it, I have done this three times now to make sure, and it worked everytime.

Since both the white and black Nokia N97’s are coming out at the same time, there’s a very difficult decision to make. What color to get? I am going for white because my three previous Nokia phones have been black. I also think the white looks better. What about you?

Black, White…or Pink Nokia N97?

Whilst googling for “white commisure” (I have a neuroanatomy exam coming up), my ever wandering mind darted to thinking about what colour N97 I might get in June (if all three options were available).

Ruling out pink immediately, I’m left with either black or white; neither of which are strictly colours, and the black is more dark brown. The first time I saw the “black” N97, I thought it was rather stunning; sleek and not as square. Black always works. When Nokia revamp an Nseries, its almost often also become completely black. Being black – it’s sort of the signature of the Nseries elite.  It’s simple, discreet, but looks good too.









The white, I wasn’t immediately too fond with.  But it’s also grown on me. A big plus point for some maybe that the black N97 resembles the 5800 too much. In white, it’ll be easier to show off. On its own merit, white looks  nice – conforms with the whole white plastic = fantastic, e.g..  iPod/Wii/DS Lite.













Personally, I prefer the black N97. In all angles it looks great. The white looks cheap in some shots – you’ve got to get the reflections off the ‘chrome’ rim perfect. But to each their own; a lot will love the white, and even the Pink (*cough* *girls**cough)

Which colour do you prefer? Or maybe another colour?
