Koliko sam ja mogao da primetim na stranim forumima i medju ljudima koji vec neko vreme koriste ovaj telefon, niko se ne zali na kvalitet izrade.Sta vise ljudi su cak i pozitivno iznenadjeni.U krajnjem slucaju ovo je ipak telefon srednje klase, a ne nokijin top model.Oni koji ocekuju nesto vise treba da sacekaju N97, ali ce za to zadovoljstvo i morati mnogo vise da plate.

koliko sam mogao primjetiti za 15-ak minuta izgleda da je kvalitetan.ja bih prije uzeo 5800 nego iphone.

A ja mislim da bi trebalo biti zabranjeno poredjenje Iphone sa bilo kojim Symbijan modelom !

Zanima me da li moze da se insalira Garmin navigacija?

Verovatno ce moci ali za sada, nece biti u fullscreen-u.

Moci ce , ali mora da ga dorade za TS , kao i vecinu aplikacija.Za sada radi samo Nokia maps.

New Firmware For Nokia 5800 Available Through Nokia Software Updater




Even though it has been available for weeks now, I’m still pretty excited about the very first firmware update for the first Nokia touchscreen S60 device!

Firmware version 11 is finally made its official debut today and now it is available through the Nokia Software Updater for the most of the generic product codes from EMEA region.

As usually, software should be progressively available at the Nokia service points, so even in case you have slow dial-up internet connection you be able to get new firmware at official Nokia service points.

As I have already said somewhere Nokia 5800 is one of the buggiest phones that I have ever tested and after few weeks with this phone I'm feeling more like a Nokia Test Pilot than the end user!

I understand that Nokia is in the uncomfortable position because of the aggressive time to market goals but releasing such a buggy phone is not an option if you ask me! Sure, most of the software related problems will be fixed in upcoming months through the firmware update but the problem is that most of the Nokia 5800 owners don't even know what the firmware is and will never try to update it and therefore this is serious issue!

Anyway, her is the full list of changes and improvements made from the firmware v10 to firmware v11.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic  Will Officially Touch UK Within A Few Hours!



The long wait is over; within a few hours, Nokia will officially release the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia fans from UK will finally be able to touch it and to get your hands on a highly-anticipated and the very first Nokia S60 touch device.

As we have already reported, the long awaited phone will be exclusively available from 10am at the Nokia Regent Street store and Nokia's Heathrow Terminal 5 shop.

From Friday 30th, it'll be widely available through Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile UK, Virgin Mobile, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U, in package with with Comes With Music service.

Nokia will be selling it unlocked and SIM-free for £250 but without Comes with Music year's subscription as expected.

Of course, it will be greatly appreciated if you can share with us your first impressions and views regarding the touch version of the S60 user interface and the phone generaly

Nokia 5800 Shipments Reach One-Million Milestone as Nokia Marks Successful UK Sales Start



Nokia announced today that it has shipped the millionth Nokia 5800 XpressMusic device, a milestone that coincides with the successful sales start of the device in the UK.
The latest in Nokia's XpressMusic range, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the company's first mass market touch screen device.
Following its introduction in October 2008, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has seen successful sales starts in a number of markets, including Hong Kong and especially Moscow where the device sold out within hours of the sales start.
Earlier today at the official sales start of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in the UK, more than 150 customers queued outside the Nokia Flagship Store on London's Regent Street to be among the first to own the device.

Danas sam imao prilike da isprobam 5800 , kolega kupio za 320 evra u fullu , utisak je sledeći: veoma dobra izrada , softver spoooooor i odziv ekrana je    hmmm , treba mu 3 sekunde da odreaguje na dodir , verovatno je tako zbog prve verzije softvera u njemu , inače ekran je zaista fantastičan - gledao sam par video spotova i bruka dobro izgleda , zvuk u slušalicama (koristio sam Sennheisser CX 300) veoma dobar, kristalno čist sa jakim basovima ... sve u svemu prodajno pakovanje sa 8gb karticom i svom pratećom opremom za 300tinak evra je veoma dobra kupovina , mada mislim da će mu cena biti na proleće oko 250 evra što će biti apsolutni hit i tu iphone nema šta da traži

evo i produkt kodova (pa da zamolim moderatore da ih premeste u odgovarajuću temu)
