Plot:A downtrodden photographer, haunted by the urban violence and decay around him, retreats into an inner world of dark fantasies. Those dangerous visions explode in reality with deadly consequences when his intoxicating new relationship with a beautiful young woman goes sour.
Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Conan the Destroyer) is in negotiations to join Justin Long in The Ten O'Clock People, an adaptation of Stephen King's short story published in 1993 as part of his "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" collection.
King’s short was notable for being set in Boston, Massachusetts as opposed to his familiar Maine locale. The story follows Brandon Pearson, who in trying to kick his smoking habit uncovers a frightening aspect of reality he plans to extinguish through extreme measures.
Nichols would play a woman who can also see a horrible aspect of reality, hidden in plain sight.
Tom Holland will direct. He previously director King's Thinner and The Langoliers and his credits also include Fright Night and Child's Play.
