When the Nexus 4 gets hot, both the CPU and GPU are throttled or slowed down to prevent some kind of problem with the phone. It seems Qualcomm and Google want this in place so that the battery life isn't incredibly short and to also to protect the battery from overheating. This may be tough on gamers because they won't be able to enjoy the full processing power when over 36 degrees Celsius.

Sony Xperia Z vs Nexus 4

Sony announced the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL in January at CES. The higher-end of the two, the Xperia Z, is water-proof and dust-proof, features a 5-inch 1080p Reality Display with Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, a 13.1-megapixel camera, 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage with a microSD card slot and a 2,330mAh battery.

Google's Nexus 4, manufactured by LG, is several months old. It was originally released in November, and has only just started to age at all. It features a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display at WXGA resolution, the same 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip as the Xperia Z, 2GB RAM, 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage, a 2,100mAh battery and an 8-megapixel camera.

On the outside, these two devices are very different. The software has its differences, too. And the price points are radically different. But the outcome is very similar: two high-end devices that offer a spectacular experience.

Without the worry of keeping costs as low as possible, however, the Xperia Z by Sony has a slight edge in almost every category, except for wireless charging.

Nexus4 mi je ekstra, steta samo sto se dobar deo 4.7" ekrana ne koristi, zbog dugmica, pa pretpostavljam da ce novi biti nesto veci uz 4.7" slobodne povrsine. To mi je jedina zamerka na ovu zver od telefona.
