Konačno omogućen skidanjac Arma 2 Free sa nekoliko različitih servera,pa čak i u obliku torenta.Verzija je teška jedva 959.7 MB.

Избачена кампања и текстуре високе резолуције. Изгледа да то заузима највећи део игре.

Q: Is Arma 2 Free compatible in multiplayer with Arma 2?

A: Arma 2 Free can host and join multiplayer games fully compatible with the original Arma 2, as long as no user addons and modifications are present. Note that Arma 2: Combined Operations / Operation Arrowhead / Reinforcements are using different newer version of the engine and are not compatible.

Q: Is it possible to use custom missions and multiplayer modes from the original Arma 2?

A: Yes, custom single and multi player missions are fully compatible. Custom campaigns for Arma 2 can also be used. The only limitation is that no user addons are supported by Arma 2 Free so only missions designed for vanilla Arma 2 can be used.

Q: Is it possible to use Arma 2 Free together with Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead to create Arma 2: Combined Operations compatible game?

A: Currently not, but BI is evaluating how this could be enabled, in similar way as it works for BAF Lite and PMC Lite.

Q: Is there a mission editor in Arma 2 Free?

A: Yes, exactly the same as in full Arma 2.

Installation problems:

 - Uninstall ARMA II FREE completely from the Startmenu.
 - Manually erase all datas found in the installation folder of ARMA II FREE
 - Install ARMA II FREE from scratch again.

If at any point during a mission you become stuck, or the mission does not progress it is recommended that you restart the mission from the beginning.
If the mission looks too hard for you, restart it as well with lower difficulty or try different approach. Missions can be played differently every time.

If you encounter any sound or graphical issues while running the game, please make sure you have installed the latest versions of your hardware drivers and try to tweak your audio and video options.

Prague, Czech Republic, June 23, 2011 - Bohemia Interactive, the independent game development studio, is delighted to reawaken a sleeping giant! Its revolutionary award-winning game, originally released by British publisher Codemasters in June 2001 as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, is now discontinued. From now on, this legendary PC game will be available only under a new title Arma: Cold War Assault. This new release also includes the Resistance expansion pack, originally released in 2002 as Operation Flashpoint: Resistance.


 All existing users of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and the Game of the Year Edition are entitled to download and install Arma: Cold War Assault at no charge. The game will also be released through various online stores in the near future. The award-winning game Arma: Cold War Assault was created by Bohemia Interactive in 1997-2001 and won dozens of Game of the Year awards as well as universal acclaim for its open military simulation. Bohemia also provided the gaming community with a complete set of editing tools and on-going support that turned the game into one of the most modded PC games ever with thousands of different user modifications freely available on the Internet.

Naravno,540 mega je čitava igra (da,da,nekada je kvalitet uspevao da stane i na manje od jednoga cd-a !).Evo šta se govori na forumu u slučaju da imate GoTY Edt  :

"Red Hammer isn't present. If you have gold upgrade, put your VoiceRH in addons folder and redhammer into campaign folder. You might encounter a few bugs on the cutscenes but.. it is worth to replay it. I'm having loads of fun."

That's right folks! Operation Flashpoint recieves an update AND a name change. So all of you OFP fans will have to knock off the dust from your game discs and revisit your first love. Thanks BIS! The actual announcement.

FYI, this is not a patch to the existing versions you already own. It's a standalone upgrade that requires your already owned CDkey, changes the name and install directory, fixes a few bugs and basically removes Codemasters and any affiliation with them.

RedHammer campaign (Codemasters-created content) is not included with the upgrade.

Hotfix uklanja bagove vezane za međuanimacije...Igra postaje potpuno odvojena od imena Codemasters (  ) i svih njihovih "kačenja" na staru slavu prethodnika...Dodate funkcije koje omogućuju novo petljanje sa editorom...Oni koji su je već isprobali tvrde da na starijim mašinama nikada nije bolje kotrljala...
