Pa da ali sve jedno i da ga koristiš tako neće izgubiti više od jedne crte ili čak ni jednu na svakom normalnom telefonu. Nikada nisam video da neko priča kako oni kažu da treba pa opet nikome se nije gubio signal.

Rumor: iOS 4.01 Update Coming on Monday, Will Fix Reception Problems

You hold your iPhone a certain way and poof! There goes your reception. According to Apple Insider, the issue may not be hardware-related but rather a software quirk:

Readers report that Apple's tech support forums originally confirmed that a iOS 4.0.1 software fix addressing the issue would ship early next week (as early as Monday), before the comments were subsequently taken down along with all the other related discussion about the matter.
The fix is expected to address a issue in iOS 4 related to radio frequency calibration of the baseband. Readers who saw the original forum discussions say that the issue is believed to occur when switching frequencies; because the lag is allegedly not calibrated correctly, it results in the device reporting "no service" rather than switching to the frequency with the best signal to noise ratio.
iOS 4 introduced some enhancements to how the baseband selects which frequencies to use, so it makes sense that the error may have crept into those changes. Additionally, this explains why iOS 4 has also caused similar problems for iPhone 3GS users.

An iOS update Monday—or during next week—would be far sooner than the norm for Apple, but based on the overwhelming user complaints it would be understandable and necessary. If the issues are really software-based.

Sada sam uzeo moj E72 u desnu ruku, onako malo ga bolje obuhvatio i kroz nekoliko sekundi nivo signala mi se sa punog ( 7 crtica ) spustio na minimalan ( 1 crtica )...  ....s tim da mi nije izgubio skroz signal, koliko sam se god trudio....ostao je na toj jednoj...a nakon sto sklonim ruku, jos brze se vrati nego sto je gubio signal... A da nije ovoga sa iPhone-om, verovatno to ne bih ni skontao nikad da mi toliko moze opasti signal.... "Pokvario" mi novi iPhone Nokiju    .... A ako ga ovi poprave sa 4.0.1 ...bice kao da se nista nije ni desilo... iskreno se nadam da hoce, jer sam taj telefon pikirao za sledeci...

I ja sam sada probao na e72  i isto se desava, sa punog signala pada skroz dole.
Velike su sanse da bude softverske prirode jer kazu na net da 3g iphone nakon upgrade na OS4 dobija isti problem

Rekao sam vam da to nije nešto čudno
Pa šta mislite što izgubite signal u tunelu, sličan efekat stvarate ako pokrijete telefon Dobro, ne baš isti, u prvom ne dolaze signali do vas, a u drugom promenite oblik antene dodirivanjem (i ruka postane antena na neki način), pa se poremeti računica
Kod mene je antena na dnu telefona, pa je možda malo lakše da se drži na "pogrešan" način, što bi rekao steve

iPhone 4 Jailbroken Already !

Yes you read that right! iPhone 4 has been successfully jailbroken only within a few days of launch! It looks like the “userland” jailbreak vulnerability which was used by Spirit jailbreak tool was not all that properly patched by Apple, and hence @planetbeing (of Android port for iPhone fame) and @chpwn has managed to get root access on the device using code of @comex’s userland jailbreak method. @Planetbeing posted  about this news on his Twitter account.
Musclenerd of iPhone Dev Team then followed in by posting this picture a while ago of Cydia running on high resolution screen of iPhone 4.

Since iOS 4.0.1 is rumored to be rolled out as early as this coming Monday, an update to Spirit userland jailbreak tool can only be expected after this firmware update has been released sometime in the next week or so which will jailbreak iPhone 4, along with iPhone 3GS (new bootrom), iPod touch (MC models) and iPod touch 3G.

Oh and one more thing, even though iPhone 4 has been jailbroken, don’t expect it to get carrier unlock soon. This is because iPhone 4 uses a new baseband OS, which will require a complete rewrite for ultrasn0w unlocking tool to work on it.
So what this means is that an unlock for iPhone 4 wont be out anytime soon. So if you are an International user, you are good to go with unlocked versions of iPhone 4. US iPhone 4 users will have to wait for long before they can use this device on carriers other than AT&T.

UPDATE 1: Well there is now little twist to it, another iPhone hacker named p0sixninja has confirmed  that it cant be released in its current shape because it contains some of Apple’s proprietary code.
And speaking of the release date, @planetbeing has now made it more clear that it wont be out anytime soon.
So there you go.. they will surely have to clear out Apple’s code before they can release this thing.

iPhone 4's yellow spot issue goes away with a bit of time?


We're starting to hear a few reports of the dreaded yellow spots disappearing from the iPhone 4's display after a day or so of use. Interestingly, someone posting on the AppleInsider  forums seems to know why:

Apple is using a bonding agent called Organofunctional Silane Z-6011 to bond the layers of glass. Apparently, Apple (or more likely Foxconn) is shipping these products so quickly that the evaporation process is not complete. However, after one or two days of use, especially with the screen on, will complete the evaporation process and the yellow "blotches" will disappear. How do I know? I was involved in pitching Z-6011 to Apple.

If this can be trusted, it's very good news for those afflicted -- though hopefully Apple will keep to its usually painless replacement policy for defective phones either way. We are still seeing some mentions of the spots sticking around, fading in and out based on the heat of the phone, but we'll give it another day or two to really see how much of a problem is going to be. iPhone 4 with Improved GPS Accuracy and Speed over 3GS



One of the hidden benefits of the 3G iPad was improved GPS accuracy and speed over the iPhone 3GS. The improvement was attributed to a newer GPS chip from Broadcom. iFixit's teardown revealed that the iPhone 4 shares the same Broadcom BCM4750 chip as the iPad, suggesting the iPhone 4 will see the same benefits.
