JNBridgePro

JNBridgePro is a Java/.NET interoperability tool that enables Java code to fully participate in the cross-language development capabilities of Microsoft .NET. Java code can be called from .NET code that is written in other languages, and Java classes can be extended by having classes that are written in other languages inherit from the Java classes. .NET code can also call Java code, and Java classes can be written that extend .NET classes.

JNBridgePro achieves cross-language interoperability as it retains Java’s cross-platform capability and conformance to Java standards. The Java classes called by .NET are in the form of Java bytecodes; Java source code need not be available. Similarly, the .NET classes called by Java are in the form of MSIL (Microsoft Intermediate Language); .NET source code need not be available.



64-bit support

JNBridgePro supports 64-bit architectures and operating systems. We have provided separate installers for the x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) versions of JNBridgePro. These two installers can be installed side-by-side on the same 64-bit machine, if necessary.

Please note the following when using JNBridgePro on x64 systems:

    *When using shared-memory communications on an x64 system, you must use an x64-targeted version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). When using tcp/binary or http/soap, you may use either an x64-targeted version or an x86-targeted version.
    *If you are deploying a 32-bit .NET application to an x64 system (that is, you are deploying a .NET application built to target the “x86” platform rather than targeted to ‘”x64” or “Any CPU”, if you are using shared memory, you should use a x86-targeted version of the JRE and the assemblies from the x86-targeted assemblies version of JNBridgePro.
    *If you are deploying an ASP.NET Web application to run on 64-bit ASP.NET and using shared-memory communications, you should use the x64-targeted assemblies. If you are using 32-bit ASP.NET and shared memory, you should use the x86-targeted assemblies.
    *64-bit support for shared memory is only available for .NET 2.0. If you have a .NET 1.x-targeted application and you want to deploy it to an x64 system, you can use tcp/binary or http/soap, or you can deploy your 1.x-targeted application as a 32-bit ‘x86’ application (see above).

Media Player Classic - Home Cinema

MPC Homecinema is now available in 64 bits version for Vista (should also work on XP-64). Some functionnality have been removed, because they are not available yet in 64 bits: internal MPEG decoder and QuickTime are not supported, some "tricks" may not working because Microsoft Detour library is not free for 64 bits plateform.

32 and 64 bits are completly separate world: MPC-HC 64 will use only 64 bits codecs installed on your machine. It's not possible to mix in one process 32 bits Dll with 64 bits, so you will still MPC-32 to play RealMedia or Quicktime for example. List of supported codec is:

    *Mpeg2 : using Vista Mpeg2 decoder (need Home editions)
    *WM9/VC1 : with Microsoft decoder
    *H264 : working with ffdshow X64 Experimental
    *XVid : working with ffdshow X64 Experimental

MySecretFolder


MySecretFolder™ is a software utility that you can use to hide your private folder from other users, hide it so that no one will even suspect that your secret folder exists! Yet the folder would be easily accessible to you, when you need it: just press the "hot key", enter your password, and it will open in a window, just like a regular Windows folder.

While the folder is unprotected, you can work with the files and documents it contains, just like with any other folder you have. When you are done, enter your password, and the folder will disappear again, until you need it next time.

Hide your secret folder

You can make your private folder on the hard drive invisible to other users. The folder would be hidden from virtually all programs, including Windows Explorer, Office, MS-DOS programs, etc. You can make the folder visible by unprotecting it with your password; other users would be unable to do that without knowing the correct password.

Lock your personal folder with a password

Instead of hiding a folder, you could tell MySecretFolder software to protect your private folder with a password. That is, the folder would be visible to you and other users, but when someone attempts to open it, a password prompt would be displayed. Without the correct password, the folder would remain inaccessible.

Protection without encryption

MySecretFolder protects your private files without encrypting them. It means that there is no danger of losing your documents if you lose your encryption key: with MySecretFolder all your files are kept intact, without modification of any kind.

Quickly open the protected folder via a "hot key"

You can choose a specific keyboard combination as the hot key of MySecretFolder, for quick access to the protected folder and to MySecretFolder configuration utility. Of course, the "hot key" is protected with your password, too, only you can use it!

Optional "stealth mode" of operation

You can set up MySecretFolder to operate in the stealth mode, to hide its own files and shortcuts from being seen by other users. You would still be able to control MySecretFolder via the "hot key".

Easy recovery in case of emergency

If you forget your password, or experience other problems, simply use the Emergency Recovery Utility (available for free download from our web site) to quickly restore access to your protected folder.
