ASyncKiller
This application allows to kill the ActiveSync process when it's in idle state but it just hold in memory...

AutoHibernate
This application permits to recover some memory, sending WM_HIBERNATE message to all active applications... such as oxios hibernate, my application do the same but in auto-mode, and free up memory when there is not any window in foreground.

IrBthDetector
This application allows to save some energy in your PPC, enabling the OBEX and scanmode in Bluetooth/Irda only when it's enabled by user.
In this way only if user enables Bluetooth/Irda the PPC will receive data from other devices !

ProcessKiller alias HTCDlg_killer
This small program, permits to kill processes windows that holds memory still after closing them.
For example in some version of HTC Home, after selected the city for forecast , a child-process according to the record size of all cities in list will holds from 600 KB to 7MB in RAM !!!
To solve this issue, when the process is in a idle state, it will killed automatically by processKiller.
There are a lot of cases that processKiller it could be used... so the cab contains a configurator to add other processes over the real application.

Palringo v1.1 (Freeware)
Requirements: WM5/WM6 and Wifi or Data Connection. QVGA/VGA Supported, with full landscape support
Overview: Palringo allows you to instantly exchange text, photos and vocal IMs with individuals or groups

Go to the site, and click on register. This is very important. Palringo will not function if you do not register.

Kaiser Notifications v2.02 (Freeware)
Requirements: PPC WM6 - Works with Windows Mobile 6.1 and the .NET compact frame 2.0 or 3.5.
Overview: Version 2.02 - Fixes an error relating to date time parsing when using certain cooked ROMs. If you do not have this problem no need to upgrade.

Whats new in version 2.0?

Audio and vibrate reminder alerts for new items

Version 2 now allows you to add audio and vibrate reminder alerts for unread items. Most mobile phones do this and I started to miss this on the Kaiser. Mobile phones will intermitently beep/vibrate if you have new items but haven't seen them, whereas Windows Mobile generally sounds once when the item arrives but gives no additional sounds after that and leaves it to a flashing LED to get your attention. With this version your Kaiser will play a wav file of your choice and/or vibrate every so many minutes for new items.

To avoid battery drain and annoying those around you in your absence, the phone will increase the time span between reminders, the default is: Item arrives, phone alerts as normal. If after 5 minutes you haven't read the message, it will play the selected wav file and/or vibrate. If the message still goes unread it will then alert again after waiting for 10 minutes, then it will alert after a wait of 15 minutes, then 20 minutes, all the way up to 60 minutes, where it will then alert every hour. These settings are configurable.

Off schedule

You can now set a period where the Kaiser Notification program should not interupt you, typically this would be used for overnight. LEDs stop flashing, and no alerts are played for unread items. You can also select to turn the mobile phone off during this period which is great for saving battery power and knowing you are not going to be woken by a ringing phone.

What's fixed?

When roaming onto networks the LED will now flash normally.

What's still broken?

I've had no joy finding out how to flash the LED amber. You may still select amber as an option, however it will flash green. Hopefully I will get to the bottom of this soon.

As per a few requests I have not been able to adjust the flash rates for the LED, or have them light static while charging.

The program must be installed on 'Device' to work, it currently does not work if installed on storage card.

1) Copy the cab file to the device and run it. Install to device and not a storage card. If you have the first version it will be removed automatically.
2) From Programs click the new icon for 'Kaiser Notfication Setup'.
3) On first running the setup program the LEDs will automatically be set to the pre-defined defaults, change as required. Set up a schedule and reminder alerts as required.

A link is placed in the Windows/Startup folder during install that will ensure the tiny program that controls the LEDs is loaded automatically when the Kaiser is soft reset or turned off and back on.

Uninstalling

Use Remove Programs to uninstall. After uninstall a soft reset is necessary to get the LEDs flashing as per the original HTC settings.

MSS Converter v1.05

MSS Converter allows to make conversions between many units. Supported units are currencies (with the ability to automatic update rates), lengths, areas, volumes, masses, speeds, temperatures, pressures, times, angles, energies and powers. The software is easy to use. You can setup the units to show or hide. The software supports VGA and QVGA resolutions, with portrait, landscape or square screens.

To install the software, copy the .cab file onto your pocket PC (via a memory card or ActiveSync), the execute it using the file manager. On the first run of the software, you can setup the language to use. Needless languages are deleted to increase free memory space.

VJCandela v0.3

Must-have aplikacija za sve korisnike HTC aparata ciji PPC ima flash light. Instalirati na main memory.

WM5/WM6 compatible - HTC Phones only

This program is used to permit control of the flash light on various HTC Phones, to allow it to be used as a torch etc.

Note: this app may will cause permanent damage to your flash led over prolonged periods.
The app will disable itself after prolonged use, but still, use it at your own risk.

I cannot confirm what hardware it will work on, other then the Universal phone.
Please report by email or in my forum if you have success or failure.

VJCandela can be used as a stand alone tool or through the command line.

Use the Flame icon to enable the torch. Press and hold to enable (with your fingers perhaps).
Use the Lock icon to enable a lock. This will keep the torch on until you disable the Flame.
Use the Display icon to disable the display to save power.
Drag on the title bar to move the window.

Pressing a key on the keyboard will close VJCandela (for instance, if you have the display off).

Use VJCandelaLite if you want no GUI. Just launch it using the same command lines or a hardware key.

Veoma korisna aplikacija(barem meni), jer uklanja duple kontakte iz imenika.

Overview: This is a very very very simple application for Windows Mobile 5.0+ Pocket PC / Smartphone (CF2.0). It will remove duplicate contacts on a device.

Requirements:
WIndows Mobile Pocket PC 5 / 6

Contacts are compared based on 'File As', field, 'Email' field and 'Home / Work / Mobile' phone fields. If all those fields match, it's deemed a duplicate.
The application scans about 200 contacts in under 2 seconds.

QMAIL v3.0.4 PPC&SP

QMAIL is a communications program which deserves to be more well known: it supports POP3, IMAP4, NNTP & RSS protocols.
Installation simply involves copying the files to the Pocket PC.

The mail client pleasantly surprised me: besides IMAP4 support, it supports SSL/TLS authenication (which makes it compatible with GMail, but this requires a seperate download), filters and all the configuration options that you could imagine. HTML support is still not working for the Pocket PC. Neither is the ability to compose scripts.

To read a RSS feed, you only need to create an account and choose RSS in the "Class" menu. When you return to the main screen you choose the account that you just created, tap and hold to bring up "Create" and voila, after entering the name of the feed, you only have to give the URL. The interface is not bad: you click on the title to see the contents, providing quick access.

Kompatibilan je sa Windows Mobile 6 Professional/Classic i Windows Mobile 5.0(PPC), a postoji i "unstable build" za Windows Mobile 6 Standard, pa i tu verziju postavljam za download.

HTweakC 2.1b

HTweakC (fit4cat Hermes Tweaker) is a utility to tweak easily your HTC TyTN (Hermes was the code name). No need to use a registry editor to change settings, this program saves them for you. Tweaks are organized in a menu. You can :
- Enable GPS Settings
- Enable and show the Wireless plugin in Today screen
- Disable the OEM/Carrier Phone Skin
- Remove Battery and Wireless Manager from Tray Icon
- Disable SMS Sent Notification
- Show Cap/Shift State
- Enable and Mount Extended ROM
- Improve Bluetooth Stereo A2DP Sound Quality
- Enable/Disable HSDPA

A very good program, easy to use.

Version 2.0 now supports more HTC devices, and therefore was renamed to HTweakC.

VJLumos III (Hermes only)

Neki korisnici Hermesa zale se na nedovoljno jako pozadinsko osvetljenje. Ova aplikacija resava taj problem. Toliko je efikasna da mogu samo reci - oslep'o sam! Radi i na nekim drugim PPC uredjajima - ako vam ne radi ova, postoji vise verzija na zvanicnom sajtu, za razlicite aparate.

All, this is a new version of VJLumos for the Hermes (primarily). VJLumos is used to take advantage of the brief flash of extra brightness you see when you start the camera.
VJLumos puts your device into that extra bright mode (semi-)permanently.
You are advised to look up VJLumos II on my website to find out more detail.

Guys, I'm stuck in court every day until Christmas, so I'm not getting much programming done these days, and when I am, it's on a new website, not C++

However, I finally gave VJLumos another crack, since I can't believe the Hermes screen is so pale. So here you go, a TEST version of VJLumos III. It's not feature complete yet, but it works (I think )

Instructions:
Launch it to make the screen brighter.
Launch it again to disable it.

While VJLumos is on, you cannot use the camera. Deactivate it (ie load it a second time) to use the camera.

It seems to work, and seems to survive pressing standby. I may add more features as required, but it's hot off the press for you guys to try out.

Let me know if it works, what you think, and how your battery life gets on.
No installer for now, just run the app.

PS It may work on other devices.

On the Universal it doesn't make much difference, so not recommended.

But on the Hermes, super brite!
