NINTENDO DS OPERA

Opera Software objavili su da ce njihov browser program Opera za Nintendo DS konzolu krenuti u prodaju širom Evrope po ceni od 39.99 Evra.

Opera Browser stiže na klasicnom Nintendo DS kertridžu u dve varijante, jednoj za stari DS, drugoj za DS Lite.

DARK MESSIAH OF MIGHT AND MAGIC

Ubisoft su objavili da je krenulo štampanje primeraka igre Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, i da ce igra biti u prodaji od 24. Oktobra 2006.

Ovaj sigurni hit naslov razvili su u saradnji sa Ubisoft, Arkane Studios, koji su radili singleplayer i Kuju Entertainment koji su bili odgovorni za multiplayer modove. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic je uraden u Source engine. Možete probati i demo.

GALACTIC CIVLIZATIONS 2 EKSPANZIJA ODLOŽENA

Stardock su objavili da ce Dark Avatar, eskpanzija za njihovu igru Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords biti odložena do Februara 2007.

Ovo dodatno vreme za razvoj bice iskorišceno da se prošire mogucnosti ove ekspanzije. Igraci ce imati prilike da se prijave za beta test zatvorenog tipa od Novembra.

utorak, 10 oktobar 2006 Electronic Arts su objavili šest novih screenshotova iz predstojece ekspanzije za real time strategiju Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2, pod radnim naslovom The Rise of the Witch-King.

Razvojni tim EA Pacific ce završiti rad na ovoj igri tokom ove zime.

BF 2142 DEMO PROBLEMI

Electronic Arts i razvojni tim DICE su svesni da su igraci demo verzije Battlefield 2142 naišli na probleme oko konektovanja na server. Takode, pomenuti su i problemi nastali nepostojanjem DirectX installera koji bi išao uz 1106 megabajta težak demo.

In an effort to reduce download times the Battlefield 2142 Demo does not contain a DirectX installer. Be advised that in order to play this demo players must have DirectX9 installed and should ensure that the d3 dx9_29.dll is present in your C:WINDOWSsystem32.
We are aware that some players are experiencing disconnects while playing the Demo. Please know we are running checks and making enhancements to our support systems so that these disconnects can be solved as quickly as possible.

Najavljen The Settlers VI

UbiSoft je i zvanično objavio da njihov razvojni tim, Blue Byte, radi na novom nastavku The Settlers-a, koji će biti šesti deo popularne strategije. Posle remake-a drugog dela igre, Blue Byte nastavlja sa radom. The Settlers VI će se pojaviti na tržištu u toku 2007. godine, nikakav precizniji datum, za sad, nije objavljen.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic se pozlatio!

Ubisoft je juče izjavio da je rad na ovom akcionom RPG-u konačno završen, i da će se od 24. oktobra naći na policama prodavnica. Verujem da mnogi među vama odavno prate ovaj naslov, ali da se podsetimo: razvojni timovi Arcane Studios i Kuju Entertainment su dobili zadatak da igra bude u prvom licu, i zbog toga igra koristi Source endžin modifikovan za potrebe igre. Radnja igre se odvija u Ashan-u, svetu koji će se koristiti i za sve buduće Might and Magic igre. Single player kampanja će se sastojiti od 12 "nivoa", dok u multiplayer-u mogu igrati do 32 igrača istovremeno. Igrači će imati potpunu slobodu u izgradnji svog heroja - da li ćete biti brutalan warrior, misteriozni assassin ili svestrani mage - na vama je da odlučite.

Kao što su i najavili tokom prethodnog meseca, 3DRealms je izdao novi patch za ovaj FPS. Pomenute nove mape i modeli su svi na broju - instaliranjem patch-a dobićete 4 nove mape i 5 novih modela za multiplayer. Osim ovoga su ispravljene i neke sitnice, dok najviše treba obratiti pažnju na to da posle instalacije patch-a možete igrati na već patch-ovanim serverima, dakle nema kompatibilnosti unazad.detaljan changelog se nalazi u nastavku teksta.

 

Prey add-on / update to version 1.2:

This add-on includes new maps and multiplayer models as well as a number of bug fixes from previous versions. Please note that this version is network incompatible with previous versions, so by installing this version you will not be able to join any 1.0 or 1.1 multiplayer servers.

This add-on includes four new multiplayer maps and six new multiplayer characters.

New DeathMatch Maps:

The original DM maps in Prey were best suited for 4-8 players. The maps in this add-on were designed for smaller number of players, especially for 1v1 or 2v2 play.

DM Gravity Lab: DMGravityLab takes place on board a floating extension of the Sphere's main Spindle. Players will find themselves running along wallwalk and hanging catwalks all throughout the map. Snipers get to have fun this time around with a large outdoor section complete with wallwalk platforms and portals. Designed for 6 players.

DM Topillogical: The first Prey DM map to feature Outward Gravity. Run 360 degrees around the inside of a giant Sphere to get the best firing position on your enemies. Intriguing side-rooms offer gravity-warping corridors and devious wall-walk ammo depots. Fast-paced action for 4 players.

DM Tunnel Rat: Danger lurks in all directions but down in this maze-running map designed for 6 players. Sharp twists and turns conceal danger at every corner, but eyes up! A mirrored version of the maze forms the ceiling above you.

DM Space Oddity: DM Space Oddity is designed for 4 players and features a large central crossover room with perpendicular gravity pathways. Rack up the kills by dominating the crossover with a rocket launcher!

New Multiplayer Models:

Several new character models are available in DM, three female characters and two alien characters:

Jen: Jen is Tommy's girlfriend, and the owner of the Roadhouse bar. Don't let her dainty looks fool you: all those years of serving drinks to random travelers have toughened her up and made her quite the ass-kicker.

Becky: This young blonde is an unfortunate victim of the Sphere. First aliens abduct her and now she finds herself fighting for her life in a deathmatch arena!

Elhuit: The leader of a race of humans who managed to hide and survive living on the Sphere for centuries.

Alien Hunter: The Hunter is part of a race taken by the Sphere long ago. Now the Hunter serves as one of the chief minions of the Sphere, acting as an enforcer force for any humans who try to escape.

Elite Alien Hunter: Same badass Hunter, cooler-looking armor.

Bug Fixes:

This update also includes a number of bug fixes:
* Network protocol version bump (will no longer be able to see 1.1 or 1.0 servers)
* Installer will now update uninstaller. This fixes the missing installer problem.
* Game DLL interface bump for upcoming mod SDK release (so mods will only work with v1.2)
* Fix for a weapon switch exploit

Guild Wars: Nightfall screenovi

 NCsoft je izbacio par novih screenova iz nadolazećeg trećeg dela Guild Wars sage. Ako ste propustili priliku da isprobate igru tokom preview-a od pre par nedelja, ovi screenovi će vas sigurno zainteresovati za Nightfall. Pored gomile novih quest-ova, item-a i slično, Nightfall će ponuditi i dve nove profesije - Dervish, sveti ratnik i Paragon, anđeo čuvar. Igra je najavljena za 17. oktobar tekuće godine.
