TRENER Tottenhama Junade Ramos spreman je ponuditi 10 milijuna funti za PSV-ovog 27-godišnjeg vratara Heurelha Gomesa.

Mail on Sunday piše da Ramos i sportski direktor kluba Damien Comolli prate igre Gomesa još od siječnja i da ga na ljeto žele vidjeti na White Hart Laneu.

Iako je sve do nedavno prvi izbor Spursa bio vratar Espanyola Carlos Kameni, navodi se da je Ramos nakon pada u formi kamerunskog vratara odustao od njegovog dovođenja.

Ukoliko se transfer Gomesa u Tottenham realizira bio bi to rekordan iznos koji je neki engleski klub ponudio za vratara. Sunderland je prošle godine Heartsu platio 9 milijuna funti za Craiga Gordona.

Tottenham će morati brzo reagirati i poslati ponudu budući da je za brazilskog vratara “zagrizao” i Milan.

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos is chasing Sevilla starlet Diego Capel.
The Mirror says Ramos has moved quickly for the 21-year-old after learning that Real Madrid are also keen on the Spanish starlet. He has identified Capel from his time in charge as being a quick, talented and exciting youngster.

Capel has a clause in his contract allowing him to go for £8million, but if he plays more games then the price rises to £10m at the end of the season.

Capel said: "I've heard of the interest and am flattered Ramos is impressed with me enough to look at me."

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos is reportedly interested in signing Udinese's £15m-rated Italian striker Fabio Quagliarella in the summer.

It is claimed the Spanish tactican has sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old, who has scored 10 goals in 32 appearances this season, in Serie A action for seventh-placed Udinese. And, despite a wealth of attacking options already at White Hart Lane such as Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane and Darren Bent, it appears that Quagliarella could be targeted in the summer transfer window.

Udinese would be looking for around £15million for the player's services and should a concrete bid go in for him then it would raise question marks over the future of one current Spurs hitman.

Bulgarian star Berbatov has continually been linked with a move to a club playing the Champions League, such as Manchester United, and it maybe that he is offloaded to make way for Quagliarella.

Tottenham are willing to offload French full-back Pascal Chimbonda for a cut-price fee at the end of the season, according to reports.

Chimbonda, a one-time target for Chelsea, has been pushed out of the picture since the arrival of Alan Hutton from Rangers and a move away from White Hart Lane looks to be on the cards.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa were both interested in signing the former Wigan Athletic man during the January transfer window and could renew their interest once again.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos wanted to keep hold of him until the end of the season but has now decided that he does not have a future with the club as he plans to tinker with his squad in the summer.

Villa, who wanted him on loan, are still known to be interested, especially with the asking priced believed to be in the region of £3million.

Tottenham star set for £35m Chelsea switch?!?

Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov could make a cross city switch to Chelsea this summer.

The People are reporting that the Bulgarian striker has told close friends that he expects to move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after contract talks at White Hart Lane broke down.

It is believed Chelsea would have to shell out a whopping £35 million to land the front man who has bagged 22 goals in 48 appearances for Spurs so far this season.

Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson is expected to depart White Hart Lane this summer, with Middlesbrough the favourites to secure his signature.


It is understood Robinson, who may face Bolton on Saturday after an ankle injury, is looking to leave London for a club in the north.
