What a game this promises to be for so many different reasons.

The 24th of April marked the one year anniversary of Brian Labones Death. One of the saddest days in the Toffees recent history was due to be remembered this Saturday as the Goodison crowd prepared for another emotional minutes silence. The same day however came more sad news that Jim Kearney (Chairman of The Irish Toffees) along with British Soldier Alan Jones had both passed away in equally sad circumstances. An emotional day only got worse when on Wednesday morning it was announced that England & Everton Legend, The Great Alan Ball, had passed away of a heart attack. For the eleven players that pull on the Royal Blue Jersey on Saturday will be reminded what it means to be an evertonian by the emotional goodison park faithful. A great atmosphere is to be expected..

So who are the lucky visitors? Non other than the League Leaders, who are currently housing the Premierships best player in Ronaldo and the Hate Figure, former evertonian Mr Wayne Rooney. Man Utd have been in astonishingly impressive form in Europe, blowing away AS Roma 7-1 at Old Trafford and coming from 2-1 down to beat Italian giants AC Milan 3-2. However their form has dipped a little in the Premiership with a defeat at Portsmouth and a dissapointing draw against Middlesborough.

I can see Everton scoring past United and hopefully our impressive defence can shut out their young talent. Man Utd have a mini injury crisis with Nevile, Ferdinand, Vidic & Saha all injured. If I was pushed for a scoreline Id stick my neck out and say 1-1, but with all that has gone on this week I can see another historic Everton Victory on the cards. But after all, I am extremely Biased!
