Missile Scouting Build

Level 1 = Rocket Flare
Level 2 = Assault Battery
Level 3 = Assault Battery
Level 4 = Power Cog
Level 5 = Assault Battery
Level 6 = Hookshot
Level 7 = Assault Battery
Level 8 = Power Cog
Level 9 = Power Cog
Level 10 = Power Cog
Level 11 = Hookshot

Explanation
The main focus of this build is maximizing the chances of killing by level 6-7, while using only one level of Rocket Flare to scout for runes. 1 Level of Power Cog is taken because the 3 seconds combined with the 1 second from Hookshot make sure that the enemy is taking lots of damage from your Assault Batteries.

Also, only 1 Level of Rocket Flare in order to scout for runes. This is because leveling it up doesn't reduce the mana cost, it only raises the damage and the duration of reveal (which is not needed as long as you scout for runes when the clock reaches 2/4/6/8/10 minutes exactly)..1 Level of Power Cog is far more useful in helping you kill the enemy by level 6 than the extra 33 damage from Rocket Flare..

The main cons of this build is that it greatly hampers your ability to finish escaping enemies, since they'll have to be below the 75 HP mark, instead of being below the 150 HP mark (if R.F. was level 4).. Also, this build is quite weak if you're against two enemies in your lane, since one will hardly let you combo the other without stunning or nuking you to hell.. I also hardly recommend this build against heroes who can easily escape the Cogs => blinkers like Nessaj, Akasha, Stealth Assassin; or Morphling's waveform, Sand King's burrowstrike, etc...

Recommended Items
- Start with Chicken and a couple of consumables (at least 2 clarities, and tangos/flasks)
- Get your Bottle as soon as possible, and start capturing runes (before Bottle, just go and get the rune - or let one of your teammates do it)
- Get Boots of Speeds whenever possible -> I recommend upgrading to Power Treads later, for the atk speed increase (you can use Hookshot to travel later =P)
- Basilus is a great following item, if you're killing your enemy 1x1, pushing is a nice idea, and Bottle won't be enough mana regen
- Afterwards, I recommend gettin Sange & Yasha, the movespeed and maim have great synergy with the ministuns from Assault Battery and the attack speed is quite decent


Barrage of Nukes Build

Level 1 = Rocket Flare
Level 2 = Assault Battery
Level 3 = Rocket Flare
Level 4 = Assault Battery
Level 5 = Rocket Flare
Level 6 = Hookshot
Level 7 = Rocket Flare
Level 8 = Assault Battery
Level 9 = Assault Battery
Level 10 = Power Cog
Level 11 = Hookshot

Explanation
Now this build is really interesting, I've been testing it for a while and it works wonders.. The thing is maxing Rocket Flare as soon as possible, and nuking the enemy to bits with it.. Think about it, at skill level 3 Rocket Flare deals 166 damage and costs 50 mana -> if you hit the enemy twice that's 332 damage for 100 mana cost at Hero Level 5, it has one of the best dmg/mana ratio in the game (comparison > Mirana's arrow - 100 mana = 270 dmg; Zeus' bolt - 115 mana = 275 dmg; Rexxar's axes - 120 mana = 300 dmg), and it's an AoE Spell pretty damn easy to hit (unlike Mirana's and Zeus' spells).

Although the cooldown seems a bit high early in the game, by the time you hit Hero Level 5, the spell has a 20 second cooldown, making it pretty easy to hit the enemy twice on every wave.. And you still have Assault Battery for greater harass and finishing the enemy..

This build shines when you're soloing against two ranged heroes (even more when they are low hp agi heroes - Medusa, Sniper, etc.) Because you'll be nuking them non-stop and farming at the same time, with a reasonable mana regen that is...

This is an amazing support build, provided you can consistently hit enemy heroes in other lanes.. You could easily give kills to your allies if the enemy can't see the rockets coming! This build also optimizes rune searching (lower cooldown means you can check both rune spots in a 20/15 second time windows)..


Cons of this build = too mana intensive (against Nerubian Assasin and Magina it's damn useless).. No true disable (since Power Cog is taken only at lvl 10) -> which means and incomplete combo! The damage is high, but it's no Burst Damage, if you need to quickly finish an enemy or in the case the enemy has a ridiculous HP regen (Davion with Ring of Regen, for instance).. Assault Battery is at its strongest only at level 9, which is kind of a shame.. Otherwise it's a pretty fun build!

Recommended Items
- You could either start with a Chicken to bring you consumables... OR
- Start with about 4-5 clarities, 4 tangos, a scroll of teleport, and Branches/Mantles of Intelligence
- Get a Basilus asap, and an Intelligence Power Treads
- Start aiming for a quick Battlefury - get what you need first, but ideally a Void Stone and the Damage Items!

PS.: when you get Battlefury you should be launching a Rocket Flare every 15 seconds wherever you think the enemy is.. Your mana regen is absurd by now and you should be able to spam it freely!

Shocking Disco-cogs Build

Level 1 = Assault Battery
Level 2 = Power Cog
Level 3 = Assault Battery
Level 4 = Power Cog
Level 5 = Power Cog
Level 6 = Hookshot
Level 7 = Power Cog
Level 8 = Assault Battery
Level 9 = Assault Battery
Level 10 = Rocket Flare
Level 11 = Hookshot

Explanation
This is the most situational build in my opinion, and many will flame me for this, but keep on reading. This build would only truly be useful when you have a Ranged teammate with a disable (Mirana, Vengeful Spirit, Lina, Leshrac, etc), and it's best when you're against a lone hero - because with the disable you can easily trap him, and Assault Battery + your teammate's attacks should easily finish the enemy..

Some would say that 3 levels in Assault and 2 in Power Cog is already enough (for that there is the 1st skill build =D), but the fact is by level 7, 2 extra seconds of pounding on a desperate enemy is quite a lot! And also, if the enemy is smart he'll try to break the Cogs, and they usually get shocked doing that, and extra dmg/mana burn is pretty nice..

Having max Power Cog also gives precious few seconds against a Melee hero without a form of blink.. It could give you a couple of seconds when that enemy Lycanthrope or Slardar comes after you below your tower (also damaging and burning more of his mana should he touch the cogs)..

This build is also extremely useful when there are heroes with "pushing" or "pulling" skills on your team (which, I recognize, is also EXTREMELY situational) -> nice examples would be Enigma, Rexxar, Invoker, Dark Seer, Spiritbreaker, Pudge (also notice these are powerful team-heroes, except for the last 2 =P just kiddin!).

Other hero synergies include Earthshaker (when he traps people and you throw Power Cog on their only way out); Crystal Maiden (forces the enemy to move in a given direction or take massive dmg); Lich (when you are able to trap 2 or more heroes inside the Cog)..

Dark Seer and Pudge are specially powerful teammates in this build, because they have "moving" skills from level 1, unlike some of the others which require their ultimate for maximum synergy!

Cons of this build = Obviously not having maxed Assault Battery by level 7, which greatly lowers your damage output! Not having Rocket Flare for rune revealing and finishing escaping enemies/revealing jungles... Overall lower damage than the other builds, less versatility (more survivability if you ask me, though)..

Recommended Items
- Since this build focuses on survival and ganking with teammates, I'd say start a couple of Bracers (get the circlets first, maybe) OR
- start with a Ring of Regeneration (for Vladmirs later)
- and aim for an Armlet of Mordiggian -> getting Helm of Iron Will as soon as possible
- Black King Bar would be the next late-game item, to counter the effects of Armlet..

So, I hope this (not-so)mini-guide has been useful to everyone who started playing Clockwerk Goblin recently and I hope it opens new play-styles with him instead of a single skill build (like Silencer's - damn, I'm gettin tired of Glaives+Stats =/)..

This keeps Cog at level 1, because most enemies can break out of it before it's over anyway. Battery is maxed first to enable early ganking, and while Rocket Flare harassing is not quite as effective at levels 8-10, it's still useful, and you'll have the mana to support it by then. You can max Cog 12-14 if you want to cause more havoc in team battles or burn more mana.
One thing to note is that if you're going for the Rocket Flare build and you're against a solo lane, you can send the Flares to another lane (preferably your most aggressive lane) in order to hit two heroes.

bfury is nonnegotiable as i tend to trap more than 1 person in a cog in team fights and you need regen all game. and even when ur not in cog ur still bkb'd and definitely in the thick of things enough to make cleave pay dividends. armlet is just a cheap way to add big damage and tankiness. bkb is self explanatory, you are melee and your battery has no range.

I see two very different and liable way to play him atm. Harasser or Tank. He's not a lategame hero, but his farming and harassing abilities make him usefull to the team.

Harasser :

Your goal is to farm a lot with Cog and Rocket while constantly harassing your opponents. Late game, you support your team. IMPORTANT : You should also harass in other lanes with Rocket.

Skill build

12 stats then ulti, then battery

Items

Early & Mid game
2/3 nulls or 2 bracers, boots, void stone, str/int treads (obviously, switch to what is best), perseverance
Your goal is to aim for battlefury. Basilius then Vladimir can be a good choice too
How to play : constantly harass your ennemy with flare and use cog to finish low hp creep wave or when ennemies come to you.

Late game

You have now completed Battlefury and if you have done your work early, some of your opponents are low in gold, underleveled, if not killed a few times. Now play support and buy situational item (Guinsoo or Necronomicon). If game still goes on, you can go Heart.


Tank "Axe item build, Pudge way to play"

Skill build :

1. Rocket (for scout and maybe finish blow)
then Cog and Battery, Ulti whenever possible. After that, stats and or rocket

Early & Mid game
2 bracers, boots, vanguard, armlet, travel
Vladimir can also be a good option but you're aiming for quick armlet

Way to play :
Carefully. You use cog to farm wave. Use battery only when situation looks good (not against two heroes when you're alone for instance). Once you got ulti, your goal is to kill heroes, like Mirana or Pudge. If you're not successfull or if your lane opponents hadn't to go back to fountain, you're screwed, like Pudge. In that case, go small items and try to use your ulti to help your teammates to land some kills. Keep a good eye on the map with your rocket !

Late game
BKB and blink dagger or Shiva and blink dagger
Other possibles items : Guinsoo, heart, battlefury



WHY BLINK dagger ? Blink has two purpose : escape (it's the true weakness of this new hero, he can not escape) or initiate (blink, battery and cog, then ulti to deliver the finish blow)

Shiva will allow you to farm creep wave at great speed and slow your opponent while your chase them

Evo iemen, neki me mozda znaju sa pocetka ove teme, nisam bio duze vreme na ovim forumima. But am back, ready to rock again. Sto se tice novog heroja, Rattletrapa, dobar je za early-mid game owning, late game gubi na uticaju.

Dajte mi najnoviju verziju dote sa kripovima?

Getdota.com, pa na al maps, imas tamo najnoviju i prilicno dobro odradjenu, testirao sam je.

ljudi da li samo meni rattletrap izgleda kao da se icefrog zajebavao ? tj sa njegovim izgledom .. jer je bilo koji creep ljepsi od njega ...
