Jedina promena je bila u Garmisu, gde je Aman oborio Slirijev rekord za 2.5 metra. 

P.S. Malis i dalje drzi rekord u Inzbruku skokom od 136 metara ali su u medjuvremenu odvojili rezultate klasicnih skokova/zimskih od letnjih/na travi, pa je tako Hanavaldov rekord vracen kao vazeci... dok je Malis svoj skok od 136 metara napravio u letnjem takmicenju, na travi.

Peter Prevc was successful in the first small part of the 4-Hills-Tournament and won the qualification for the opening event in Oberstdorf.

Under sometimes difficult wind conditions, the Slovene showed the longest jump of the day on 138.5 m and scored 148.7 points. Afterwards Prevc said: “Winning the qualification is the best way to start the 4-Hills-Tournament. Tomorrow I must remain calm and keep the good feeling for the jumps. The favorites are mainly of interest to the media. I don't consider myself a favorite so far, the competitions haven't even started yet. Tomorrow we will know a bit more.”

The second place went to Gregor Schlierenzauer, who came in 0.9 points behind Prevc. The two-time 4-Hills winner jumped on 133 m and told: “It was a pretty good day for me. The jump was good, but there's still room for improvement. My goal is to keep doing it my way and show the best possible performance.”

Strong Japanese

Noriaki Kasai was third with 133 m and 147.3 points. Only 0.1 point behind, his teammate Taku Takeuchi finished fourth with 135 m.

Richard Freitag finished fifth with 132 m and 147.0 points. The German said later: “I'm relaxed and happy that I feel that way. It will also be the task for the next days to remain relaxed day after day and jump after jump. I hope that the stadium will be full tomorrow. You have to absorb this atmosphere.” Behind Freitag, Slovene Matjaz Pungertar was sixth with 146.9 points, Rune Velta followed 0.3 points behind. World Cup leader Anders Fannemel was eighth with 145.6 points, Jernej Damjan came in ninth (142.2 points). Anders Bardal, who was tenth with 141.5 points, doesn't know what to expect from this year's 4-Hills-Tournament yet: “I'm not sure what I can expect. The jumps are already pretty good, but I'm still lacking the consistency. I'm excited to see the result at the end.”

Good comeback for Stoch

Double Olympic Champion Kamil Stoch had a great comeback after his break due to an injury and was eleventh. The Pole is happy that he's able to compete again: “I'm really satisfied. Not that much with my performance, but with being able to be here. It was my dream when I was in the hospital. It's always worth it to dream, because sometimes the dreams come true. Maybe it's a bit early to consider me a favorite, because I'm only here to jump and to have fun.”

Severin Freund was also in a good mood after his 12th place: “The 4-Hills-Tournament is fun. Here are there more spectators at the qualification than at the competitions at other venues. And now there's even snow. Of course I'm able to win the 4-Hills-Tournament, but if it will happen or not is a different story. I'm quite satisfied with my way towards the 4-Hills. Everything is extremely close. What happens at the 4-Hills-Tournament is not always in your own hands.”

Boyarintsev and Diethart surprise

Vladimir Boyarintsev provided a positive surprise for the Russian team and came in 13th. Defending champion Thomas Diethart was 17th, followed by Stephan Leyhe, for whom this is his first 4-Hills-Tournament. And he was obviously happy about this “adventure”: “It's a dream. I always wanted to participate in the 4-Hills-Tournament, now I even qualified for the competition. I always said that it's a normal World Cup and I just have to stay focused.”

French Vincent Descombes Sevoie qualified in 19th, Lauri Asikainen was the best Finn in 27th.

Jakub Janda and Jan Matura were among those who failed to make the cut for the final round. There will be some top duels in the K.O. Round.

Ammann vs. Prevc

Simon Ammann, who skipped the qualification, just like Roman Koudelka and Michael Hayboeck, will have to compete against today's winner Peter Prevc, Hayboeck is in a duel with his teammate Gregor Schlierenzauer. Also the duel of Noriaki Kasai and Roman Koudelka promises to be exciting. Canadian Matthew Rowly, who could also qualify, will have to compete against Taku Takeuchi. За мене су само два скакача постојала Свен Ханевалд и Томи Моргенштерн, ово ми је сад боранија.

 

Jedan i jedini, gospodin Jane Ahonen... koji jasno pokazuje koliko puta je osvojio turneju cetiri skakaonice. 



Covek koji je drao iako je uvek imao protiv sebe sudije a samim tim uvek manje bodova od drugih, pobedjivao je na sirove duzine. Drzao se svog stila, skako je kako je hteo a ne kako su ocekivali. Majstor.

Zato i volim Amana, sto prepoznajem neke karakteristike Ahonena u njemu.

Ahonen naravno
