SNOW FESTIVAL (february- sapporo, japan)
At the sapporo snow Festival people make statues from snow.Some of the statues  are very big.You can just look at the statues-or you can make one yourself.

CARNIVAL (February-Brasil)
People celebrate carnival in many countries, but the best known is in Brasil.In Rio de Janiero, many thousands of people parade through the streets. They wear fantastic costumes and dance to samba music.

HOLI (March- India)
This is Hindu festival.On the last day of the festival, people sell coloured powder in the street. You can bay the powder, and trow it ower other people.

SONGKRAN (April-Thailand)
Songkran- the Water Festival- is the Thai New Year. If you`re in Thailand during Songkran, keep your car windows closed, becouse everyone throws water at everyone.

GIOCO DEL CALCIO (June-Florence, Italy)
This is a 16th - century version of a footbal match.There are four teams, each with 27 plazers.The players wear 16th-century costumes. The game is quite dangerous, bicouse there are`nt many rules.

OKTOBER FEST (September! -Munich, Germany)
If you like beer, this is festival for you. Seven million people visit the Oktoberfes. They drink five millions litres of beer, and eat a million sausages and half million chickens.

NEW YEAR`S EVE (and of Ddecember)
In most parts of the world, Decembar 31 is the last day of the year. People go outh with their families and friends, and at 12:00 midnigt. everyone says `Happy New Year`
