Infinity Blade gets update with survival and multiplayer modes, seasonal helms


Infinity Blade, the fastest grossing app on iOS, received a big update today, which features two new play modes, new in-game items, achievements and more. The update to v1.3 brings Arena and Survival modes.



Survival mode is no surprise – it pits you against an endless hoard of Titans and you have to survive as long as you can. Arena mode is the more interesting of the two however. It is basically multiplayer mode that lets you challenge your friends to a dual via the Game Center.

There are new in-game items too – more than two dozens of rings, swords, shields and so on, including Holiday helms. Those include a new helm for every holiday season. There are new achievements, leaderboards and more.



The update to version 1.3 is free or you can buy the whole game for $3. It’s recommended that you update to the latest version of iOS and kill the background process before updating.

iWork hits iPhone/iPod touch ahead of WWDC




We’ve been talking about the rumors of iWork hitting the iPhone for quite some time.  Today, Apple confirmed those rumors to be true.  Keynote, Pages and Numbers will now be universal apps that run on iPad and iPad 2, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and iPod touch (3rd & 4th generation).

    “Now you can use Keynote, Pages and Numbers on iPhone and iPod touch to create amazing presentations, documents and spreadsheets right in the palm of your hand,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The incredible Retina display, revolutionary Multi-Touch interface and our powerful software make it easy to create, edit, organize and share all of your documents from iPhone 4 or iPod touch.”

Appologics has announced the release of AirBeam 1.1, a major feature update to their high quality iOS video monitoring solution. AirBeam is an universal app for iPhone, iPod and iPad and streams high resolution video in realtime with up to 30 frames per second between multiple iDevices on a WiFi network. With AirBeam each device can be used either as a surveillance camera or as a remote monitor.
