The game is combining:
1) GPS,
2) camera
3) WiFi
4) google maps, to a game with unlimited players.

The player is looking for another registered opponent using google maps and the GPS receiver, Once the opponent is found the player has to capture his picture    using the cellphone camera to "shoot" him down by actually taking a picture of him,

Once the picture is taken, it is automatically being uploaded to Wi2P servers using WiFi for verification. If the picture is verified with some facial recognition algorithm then you are the winner. 

The coolest thing is that while chasing your pray, someone might be chasing you! You could also join a group of men hunters and look for victims.

The whole world is your battlefield! After registering, you can be contacted by any other player within a 300 foot radius, which is the limits of WiFi range (300 ft) to find other players and then sends out a game invitation. You then select which player you want to play with, and if they accept, you're both sent pictures of each other, and the game starts, each of you trying to be the first to take a photo of the other person. We are waiting with anticipation for the game to be released

its more an application then a game but this is something that everyone would like to show off in front of the buddies to get some envy looks.
The application has a collection of funny mouths that respond to your voice and when you put your phone over your mouth and talk or sing, it does the magic and a funny magic it is.

Mini-Jetfight is a mobile Air Combat game featuring the seven most famous supersonic jet fighters, from F-15 Eagle, F-16 Falcon to Su-27 Flanker. Each jet fighter is armed with air-to-air missiles and a cannon for close-up combat. Mini-Jetfight is the most realistic modern Air Combat game I have recently seen.
It is currently available for download as a windows emulator but the Android game version will be available soon as stated on their website.
When starting the game you get to pick your favorite jet fighter (F15 for me please!) and when starting the game you have to look for your enemy and destroy it. the enemy's fighter is indicated on game window by a small box called target box. When the target box shows as a hollow box (a), it means the enemy is currently beyond your fire range. When the target box shows as a box with a diamond inside (b), it means the enemy is inside your air-to-air missile range.Launch air-to-air missile once they turn into red on the missile monitor, which means it has locked one of enemies.

Agile Messenger goes Android



Agilemobile.com is bringing its famous Agile Messenger to the Android platform. Available for download through the Android Market, the application allows you to chat with your buddies across multiple IM networks — including ICQ, AOL, Yahoo!, MSN, Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Talk and any XMPP server.

And that’s about all it does. Price wise, Agile Messenger is not free, but you can try it out for 30 days free of charge.

For the record, Agile Messenger works on other mobile platforms — iPhone, Symbian (virtual all variations), Windows Mobile — and the company plans to release versions for the Palm (NSDQ: PALM) webOS and BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM).

Cellogic officially announces FlyScreen, lock-screen replacement for Android



Some time ago we covered FlyScreen, the cool lookin’ and useful lock-screen app for the Android platform. Now we have the folks behind the app, Cellogic, going all official with the announcement.

As far as I can tell (and I haven’t tried it out myself), the application is a must-have for any effective Android smartphone owner. The idea is to allow users to access popular web services from the idle screen, hence reducing the number of taps required to access content. This is done through widgets, which can be used for checking Facebook and Twitter activities, as well as keeping up with the latest news via RSS. Kinetic scrolling is supported, making the overall experience enjoyable, and there’s also the in-app widget gallery, allowing users to pick widgets they want on their phones.

The best part is the price – FlyScreen is available as a free download and you can grab it from the Android Market…

Adobe Photoshop App for Android Released

Everybody knows Adobe Photoshop for PC and Mac but now there is a mobile version for you Android phone with “Photoshop.com Mobile App“.

You’ll be able to edit and tweak pictures…in fact I’ll let Adobe explain:

Perfect your pictures with the Photoshop.com Mobile App on your Android phone. Simply drag your finger to crop, adjust color, apply effects—you name it.

Crop, rotate, and color-correct with the touch of a finger.
Add soft focus or change to black & white with a click.

Once you’ve created a Photoshop.com account you’ll also be able to upload your photos and store them online. This is great to see on Android as well as the iPhone and a sure sign of the recognition that the platform is gaining. The Adobe site states that the app is available now on the Android Market but I found nothing when following their QR Code so I assume it’s location dependent at the moment i.e. U.S. only.

eReader App for Android Now Available



The eReader app is now available for Android! To install, hit up http://www.ereader.com/android from your Android-powered device. Installation of the app will give you support for the eReader and Fictionwise bookstores, and more. Somewhat standard yet key features will allow you to move forward, backward, change the font size and switch the reading layout within a document. Plus, the PDB format is supported too. If you’ve been looking for an e-book reader, give eReader for Android a try.

Note: I’m not sure if/when this app is going to make an appearance in the Android Market, but for now… use the download link above from your device.


BeamReader PDF Viewer Available for Android



It’s been in the works for awhile, but the BeamReader PDF viewing app fro Android is now ripe for the downloading. BeamReader boasts native font rendering, text search, and no requirement for network connection to handle document processing. On top of PDFs, BeamReader can handle TIFF, JPG, PNG, BMP, and GIF image files, as well as compressed ZIP arhives. For a free app, that’s pretty dang useful. Documents to Go is still a big name in the Android Market (they even scored a preload deal on the T-Mobile Pulse), but PDF viewing in particular is locked away in the premium version. Seesmic Twitter App for Android Announced, Looks Great



Android finally has options when it comes to Twitter applications. Seesmic just announced their Android application and after our first go around with it, it works and looks great. It has 4 large, easy-to-press tabs for quick navigation (timeline, replies, messages, and profile) that make for a very smooth user experience. Seesmic also allows users to link your bit.ly account, choose which photo and video service to use, and share your location, among other Twitter-specific actions.

One downside is that Seesmic doesn't currently support multiple accounts nor does it offer a widget for Android. But other than those missing features, we're sure that Seesmic will find a following in the Android community. Twidroid watch out!
