Sony to release an Android Walkman phone?



Sony has recently posted up a teaser ad with the tagline “A smarter Walkman phone is coming soon”
which hints towards an Android Walkman phone that was rumored about in the middle of last year. At
the time it was an average Android 1.6 phone, with a 2.6″ display, and a 5 megapixel camera. The rumor
faded into nothingness back then, and it looks like it might have surfaced again with the appearance
of this new teaser. No other images or details have been released, so it’s time to get the ball rolling for
some speculating.

Sarah Harding and the HTC Incredible S look good in black, The Carphone Warehouse has the phone on sale


HTC have enlisted the help of Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding to promote the HTC Incredible S in the UK. They set up a photo shoot and here’s the result (two more photos after the jump).



The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy are now offering the handset and they claim exclusivity…


Before I bore you with pricing details, here are the photos I promised. You can’t but appreciate…ahem…what an Incredible S she has.



Now, Mobiles.co.uk tweeted a while back that they are shipping the HTC Incredible S and Amazon UK has it on pre-order so it’s hardly an exclusive deal on my books even though is subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse.

The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy have teamed up and are offering HTC’s newest droid on a contract – starting free on a £25/mo 24-month contract (on Vodafone or O2), as an upgrade, pay-as-you-go or even SIM-free (which will set you back £499.95).

The HTC Incredible S is shipping in the UK already and we have some impressions from the MWC to help you decide if that’s the phone for you.

So here's the scoop: 4.3-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixel) SLCD display, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera augmented by an 8 megapixel shooter with dual-LED flash around back, a 1.2GHZ (dual-core) processor, and 4GB of internal memory with an extra 8GB supplied on memory card. HTC Launches HTC Sensation Android Multimedia Superphone



HTC has just launched the HTC Sensation Android smartphone many of us knew until recently by its codename, the HTC Pyramid. The Taiwanese manufacturer is referring to the smartphone as "a multimedia superphone".

It's running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC's new Sense on top and features a 1.2 GHz, dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 768 MB RAM, 1GB Internal Storage, eight-megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, 1.2-megapixel front-facing webcam, 4.3-inch touch screen qHD (540 x 960) resolution Super LCD display, 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port with mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection.

Also present are the usual suspects such as your sensors -- gyro, G-Sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor -- Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and a rather large, 1520mAh battery. The Sensation will arrive on Vodafone’s network across Europe in the middle of May with the rest of the European carriers getting it in June.

Zaostaje za Galaxy S II kada se radi o RAMu, bateriji i internoj memoriji. Ne mogu da verujem da nisu stavili 1GB RAMa i barem 4 GB ROM. Smile Ipak, vadi ga kvalitet izrade. Voleo bih da je malo manji - preglomazan je, cini mi se.
