A Nokia N95 prototype can check your breath for diseases

Applied Nanodetectors Ltd (AND), a UK-based company specialized in nanotechnology, has collaborated with Nokia in order to develop a mobile phone that can check your breath for detecting various diseases.

Said phone is actually a Nokia N95 prototype which comes with an integrated AND chip.

Situated above the handset’s display (in the earpiece?), the chip features sensors that are capable of detecting gases like CO2, NOx and NH3 (ammonia).
 
After determining the composition of your breath and tabulating the density of each gas, the chip matches the results with already-known characteristics of various illnesses, thus being able to detect them. The matching process is said to resemble fingerprint matching.



AND’s Nokia N95 was showcased in Tokyo, during the International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference (nano tech 2009).

The British company says that it intends to market its new mobile product via Japanese carriers, as well as in Europe, with Nokia’s help. However, there are no exact details about when this will happen, and neither about the price of AND’s chip.

Windows 3.1 running on Nokia N95 is both awesome and depressing



If these screenshots are to be believed, then an ironic hacker has successfully installed Windows 3.1 onto a Nokia N95 handset. Marchin-PRV used DOSBox to emulate the x86-class processor on the Symbian handset in order to install Microsoft's 1992 OS. Totally useless, yes... and totally badazz.

Mozda bi ovo o dos emulatoru preko kojeg je moguce startovati win trebalo prebaciti u sekciju za programe posto moze da radi na vise modela a i verujem da ce biti dosta pitanja o samom programu...Npr ja imam problem nikako da startujem  windows .... 

Uspesno sam startovao win3.11 a sad idem da probam win95 hehe nekad je prvoaprilska sala bila windows na nokiji .........

Uspesno sam startovao i win95 ali mnogo sporo radi fali mu rama.U oba slucaja rezolucija je problem suvise su sitna slova i skoro da moras po secanju da palis aplikacije ,nadam se da ce vec neko naci nacin da smanji rezoluciju u svakom slucaju jako zanimljivo 

uputstvo za instaliranje windowsa 3.1 na N95, N82, etc.

Win 3.1 for S60


I

1. raspakovati DOSBox_s60v3_(Marcin-prv).rar na memorijsku karticu.
2. instalirati sve aplikacije iz foldera "Install"
3. pokušajte instalirati DOSBox_Full.sisx
4. ukoliko vam pri pokretanju DOSBox-a izbaci obavještenje "low memory", instalirajte  DOSBox_Slim.sisx i zamijenite prethodnu verziju.

II

1. raspakujte dosbox_data_w3_11_s60.zip na memorijsku karticu.
2. iskopirajte foldere i fajlove iz foldera "Data" u folder data na memorijskoj kartici. (e:\Data)
3. otvorite dosbox.conf u notepadu, obrišite tekst i zamijenite ga ovim:

sačuvajte izmijenjeni fajl.

zatim pokrenite DOSBox. da bi koristili "miša" pritisnite zelenu slušalicu

Nevjerovatno!!
Još malo da "pročačkaju" taj emulator i da opletemo windows igre na mobilnom telefonu.

sad treba zameniti fukarin config dosbox.conf sa ovim koji sam postavio dole i prilikom sledeceg paljenja postavice pitanje
