Is This A Phone That We Are looking For?

Nokia Slider LeakedYes, here it is, yet another Nokia leak, yet another mysterious Nokia device that is supposed to be released soon, maybe even on the upcoming Nokia world in Barcelona!?

I’ve already informed you about the Nokia flash site with a countdown timer and the main question is now if this blurry photo reveals a device that Nokia is going to introduce once when the timer fially reach zero!?

What it going to be? What are your thoughts? Flagship touch device released under Nseries brand!? Eldar Murtazin from Mobile Review has hinted about a Touchscreen QWERTY phone recently confirmed by the leaked Nokia Roadmap.

Last but not the least, one of our fellow forum members claims this is one of cancelled Nokia prototypes so don’t get too excited about the upcoming Nokia world! ?

Stylish 5MP Prism-like Nokia slider cancelled, yet previewed

It seems Sony Ericsson and Motorola aren’t the only ones having problems with their upcoming products, and cancelling models right before they start to ship. While Motorola has canned the Motorola RAZR3, and Sony Ericsson has cancelled Paris and BeiBei, Nokia has also axed an unannounced model that could’ve been a good one for their fashion line.

Nokia’s unnamed and unannounced handset, pictured here, is dressed in a violet hue and looks like it was carved out of a single piece of crystal. It looks an awful lot like those handsets from Nokia’s Prism line, and features a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Just the thing for the fashion-conscious, we know. This is surely something that can get a Nokia fan’s panties up in a bunch, but there’s a problem: it’s been cancelled.



Why Nokia cancelled such an awesome looking and feature-filled product that’s colored royal violet, I’m not exactly sure. I think part of it has to do with how it practically mimics a lot of the same features found on Nokia’s other currently available phones, such as the recently announced Nokia 6260 Slide. Also, “the demand for it considered low,” according to an editorial with a quick preview of the handset from Mobile-Review. (I’m not sure what standards they used to measure the demand for this, though.)

Maybe we’ll learn more about this product in the future, maybe not. In my opinion this would have been a great addition to Nokia’s Prism line of phones. Feast your eyes on more photos of this sexy-looking Nokia phone that’s not going to be made available for sale below.

It Will Be Flagship Nseries Device!!



As the mysterious Nokia countdown timer getting closer and closer to the zero state we’re getting more excited and we are getting more information about secret device that is expected to be revealed tomorrow morning!

Now it is pretty clear that it will be device, probably the first flagship Nokia phone that isn’t leaked before it official release!!

Nokia has managed to stop leaking any information about this product and therefore I am pretty sure this going to be something big, the new flagship device that we are waiting for!

So, we are pretty sure that it will be device but the question is now, what kind of device!? I think I have answer on this question as well and I am pretty sure it going to be Nseries device! Yes, you read it right, thanks to the Nokia World Event Page now I am pretty sure that we’ll get new Nseries flagship!

You see, if you go to the Event page, on the bottom right corner you’ll see a small banner with the following text “ Nokia Nseries 2009 – Desktop - Laptop - Pocket – Discover more” and if you click on it you’ll be redirected to mentioned timer!

What this suppose to mean!? We’ll get a phone that is more like a pocket laptop, or its better to say we’ll get a pocket PC with cell functionality!? Sounds Dam* good I have to admit!? !?

Nokia N97 To Be Announced Today
Touchscreen With A Full QWERTY Keyboard!!!



My dreams came true!!!! Nokia is going to unveiled the Nokia N97. Today at the Nokia World in Barcelona!! I am pretty sure about as I got information from the pretty reliable source!!!

Phone is designed to meet needs of the internet-savvy consumers, the Nokia N97 combines a large 3.5" touch display with a full QWERTY keyboard, and provides an "always open" window to favorite social networking sites and Internet destinations.

Nokia's flagship Nseries device introduces leading technology – including multiple sensors, memory, processing power and connection speeds – for people to create a personal Internet and share their "social location".

The Nokia N97 introduces the concept of "social location". With integrated A-GPS sensors and an electronic compass, it intuitively understands where it is. The N97 makes it easy to update social networks automatically with real-time information, giving approved friends the ability to update their "status" and share their "social location" as well as related pictures or videos.

The home screen of the Nokia N97 mobile computer features the people, content and media that matter the most. Friends, social networks and news are available by simply touching the home screen. The 16:9 widescreen display (640x360 pixels) can be fully personalized with frequently updated widgets of favorite web services and social networking sites. The N97 is also perfectly suited for browsing the web, streaming Flash videos or playing games. Both the physical QWERTY and virtual touch input ensure efficiency in blogging, chatting, posting, sending texts or emailing.

The N97 supports up to 48 GB of storage, including 32 GB of on-board memory, expandable with a 16 GB microSD card for music, media and more. This is complemented by excellent music capabilities, full support for the Nokia Music Store and continuous playback time of up to 1.5 days. The N97 also has a 5-Megapixel camera with high-quality Carl Zeiss Tessar optics, 16:9 and DVD quality video capture, and support for services like Share on Ovi for immediate sharing over HSDPA and WLAN.

Based on the S60 5th Edition platform, the N97 measures 117.2 x 55.3 x 15.9 mm and weighs 150 g. Available ports include TV Out via standard 3.5 mm audio jack. The phone provides access to world-class game titles with its N-Gage support. The BL-4C (1500 mAh) battery provides about 400 hours of standby time, 320-400 (3G/GSM) hours of talk time, 4.5 hours of video playback and over 37 hours of audio playback. The Nokia N97 is expected to begin shipping in the first half of 2009 at an estimated retail price of EUR 550 before taxes or subsidies.
