New Nokia concept phone by designer Ulisses Gardim

After much discussed new launches by Nokia, a new Nokia touchscreen concept phone by designer Ulisses Gardim may well divert your attention.

Unlike other concept phones with rounded edge design, it’s a rectangular shaped phone with a combination of touch screen equipped with traditional numeric keypad by Nokia.



From the look at images, its is expected that phone will feature 5.0 MP Camera, SD Card Slot along with in vogue touchscreen display. Bluetooth, Video and Audio player are among other features that could be figured out.

Cloning (r)evolution: Nokia N97 cloned
several months before its official announcement



First of all I am not sure if we’ll ever see something like Nokia N97 but those Chinese clonners have managed to clone a phone based on the patented Nokia form factor leaked last year and named as Nokia N97.

Drawings extracted from the Nokia’s patent applications clearly shows the slider phone concept with the swivel camera module on the top of the phone and the 8 MPX mark under the lens.

Phone looks like hybrid between the oldie Nokia N90 and Nokia N95 and it going to be amazing device although it is still questionable whether such a phone will be ever materialized in the real world!

Please Nokia don’t leave this project and release this sexy creature as soon as possible, my Nokia N95 is two years old now and we need a new and real flagship as soon as possible. This phone looks like pretty good solution for new flagship, especially considering rumored specifications like, WQVGA screen, 8 MPX camera, Xenon flash, Carl Zeiss optic, x3 Optical zoom and DVD Quality video recorder with stereo sound.

Anyway, speaking about the Chinese clone, as far as I know this is the first time that they didn’t wait for the real phone to be leaked or announced to clone it. With every new model their cloning techniques getting better and better and blurry drawing leaked from the Nokia patent documentation was more than enough impulse and stimulus for making the phone based on that concept.

As usually, they managed to copy the form factor of this famous manufacturer very well but they completely failed to rip off company's high-end technology and therfore this Chinese fake is not an option for us and we need something similiar but with Nokia badge on it!

Leaking confidential information is the growing problem.

Most firms don't know how to stop it and Nokia isn’t excluded from this rule!

It is becoming really hard job for Nokia to keep the information about upcoming models hidden from the public before its official release!

Not only that they fail to prevent proto testers from misusing or leaking confidential information out of the factory, they also fail to prevent marketing materials like a promo videos that are not supposed to be available before the product is officially announced.

Anyway, one of our forum members (Dnlcerqueira) has found a shocking video over at YouTube that shows two upcoming Nokia QWERTY phones, Nokia E71 and Nokia E75!! Yes you read it right, Nokia apparently working on two new Eseries phones and both of them look very promising, especially E72 which backs all of the benefits of the S60 platform into side sliding form factor.

Messaging related phones have become all the rage as the texting continues to grow as a preferred way of quick communication, sms, e-mail and messengers are very poplar way of the communication nowadays and Nokia E72 looks like very promising especially considering that it features full QWERTY keyboard packed into compact size body, stylish and sleek side-sliding design which reveals a full QWERTY keyboard making it ideal for email text messaging.
