Did anyone go to the concert in Pancevo, how was it?

We all have several moments, branded into our mind till the end of life; moments, stamped with gold into our memory. For me these moments are Neverne Bebe’s concerts. I've been to 5 their live shows in Montenegro in august and after each of them I had some kind of shock about what I've heard and seen.
It was the sweetest feeling of unconsciousness, complete immersion into the music, forgetting about time and space… when nothing could touch the heart exept these Gods on the scene:  roaring guitars, crying piano, pumping drums and two beautiful voices – six souls that flowed together with mine. The highest pleasure, that acoustic sensation can give to a person.
I was sitting with opened mouth and out of mind . Not a single group could cause such emotional experience, like N’Bebe did. It is just a strong stream of energy, clear, like the diamond of the first water.
I was amazed by the highest quality of sound even in comparison with the most famous rock legends. Their own songs as well as the cover versions of U2, Pink Floyd, The Doors (and the others) are wonderful. Each member of the band is a very professional musician, especially its engine – Milan. Neverne Bebe is a magnificent combination of powerful rock’n’roll and gentle ballades.  Wish i could ever see them again...

Ljudi rade i to ne da rade nego uzivaju u tome sta rade ... i bez da se lazemo carevi su ....

And do you think, that they want it themselves? Mayby Lena and Jana have such kind of dreams, just because they are young and this is natural for all of us. But, I think, the rest of the group is mature enough not to cherish hopes for conquering the world. I had an impression that they enjoy their present status and play, first of all, for their own pleasure, working for the sake of music, not for success  . This is the first reason.
The second one is that (in spite of all my respect for N’Bebe) their records are rather weak. The only album I found (Dvoje) and the live sound are of great difference. Just couple songs (Daire, veliki Bog) have the natural sounding, comparable with what they presented on Rondo. The guitars are damped down completely and the music looses its drive  .
For example, if I first heard the band on the radio, I wouldn’t pay much attention on it.
Maybe it was such an idea to make a mild album – don’t know… But the album is not directed towards succeeding in the other countries

It's so great to see somebody else from my country who shares the same music taste!I agree with you that their last album is kinda mild,but maybe they had reasons for that and the band had new members,but i'm sure that the next album will be much more rockish But as any other music in my opinion ofcourse it is the best to listen to it live,it's incomparable to any cd recording,especially when the band plays live  this good!
