Kažu dve nedelje, pa će onda tek da se vidi šta i kako. Veliko sranje ako bude duže pauzir'o, baš su gotivna ekipa Vizardsi.

By ruling out Derrick Rose for the season, the Chicago Bulls eliminated any speculation about his return. That allows them to concentrate on this season without his status overshadowing everything.

Even though they're off to a slow start, hovering around .500, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau, steadfast as ever, thinks his Bulls can win this season.

So who will lead the team to those wins now that Rose is out? It seems that role will fall to forward Luol Deng. He has done it before. He is Chicago's leading scorer (16.3 points a game), third-leading rebounder (7.3 a game) and a capable passer (3.4 assists a game). He is also Chicago's best perimeter defender.

With that in mind, Deng, who will make $14.2 million this year in the final year of his six-year deal, probably will be with the Bulls for the long haul, a person familiar with both sides told USA TODAY Sports. Even though an expiring deal is ideal to trade, both sides appear to want to keep him on the team. The person requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about a potential deal.

Furthermore, not many, if any, teams will be looking to deal high draft picks when the 2014 draft class is loaded, especially at the top.

Carlos Boozer's big contract expires after 2014-15, and he will make $16.8 million the final year. It will be tough to move his deal and get what they want in return. The Bulls could always amnesty Boozer in the offseason, but their philosophy on that has always been: "Where else are we going to get 17 points and eight rebounds a game?"

Guard Jimmy Butler is an asset, but the Bulls aren't interested in moving him.

The Bulls have the Charlotte Bobcats' first-rounder in the 2014 draft as long as it is not a top-10 pick, and the way the Bobcats are playing, it's possible it won't be. It's also likely Chicago's 2011 draft pick, forward Nikola Mirotic, leaves Spain's pro league and joins the Bulls next season.

There's no indication the Bulls are going to fall apart. They didn't last season without Rose, and they are have veteran leadership with Deng, Boozer, Kirk Hinrich and Joakim Noah. Butler is due back from a toe injury within the next couple of weeks.

Once the sting of Rose's injury goes away, Chicago will settle into what it does best: Play outstanding defense and do enough offensively to win more than it loses. With the East up for grabs after the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat, the Bulls are still a playoff team and possibly a top-four seed without Rose.

Thibodeau has done a great job coaching, and that will continue to be the case. His leadership is just as important, and he will push this team, just as he did last season and the season before that and the season before that. If someone is going to squeeze every last victory out of a team, Thibodeau is that guy.

The Bulls don't view their situation as nearly as dire as those on the outside.

After all, they've been here before.

For virtually all of the 2012 playoffs, the 2012-13 regular season and now for the rest of this season —after the Bulls announced Monday that Rose had his meniscus repaired and not removed, which is good for his long-term health but it means a lengthier rehab and recovery time in his right knee — the Bulls hit the floor without him.

When this season is over, Rose will have played in just 50 games, playoffs included, in the past three seasons – 39 regular-season games and one playoff game in 2011-12, no games last season as he recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and just 10 games this season.

And the Bulls have won without him — 19-13 in 2011-12 and 50-44 last season, including the playoffs. That's not championship material, but it's good enough for the playoffs.

Задржати Денга је одлична идеја лол, али по којој цени? То је питање. Ако би пристао да узме рецимо 4 године - 35-40 милиона... то би био посо. Вероватно му је тако нешто Чикаго и нудио, па су зато преговори са њим сада на стенд-бају. И Денг има добар аргумент да тражи 12-13 милиона по сезони. Али то Чикагу баш и не одговара... у сезони 2014/15 за Роуза, Бузера, Ноу, Гибсона и Батлера треба да искеширају око 60 милиона. Са Денгових 12 и пар руки и ветеранских уговора који су неминовност, одосмо опет преко лукшури текса по трећи пут заредом и јипикајеј, ето додатне радости за Џерија Рајнсдорфа.

А притом желиш да задржиш тај простор који Бузеров уговор заузима, када се њега једном за свагда решиш... да би довео неког ко може да ти донесе ту превагу против Мајамија и Индијане.

To je vrlo prosto. Duvaće ga i naredne sezone, dok Buzeru ne istekne ugovor, a plus će Gibson da se patinja na klupi bezveze. Isto k'o što će Niksi da ga duvaju sa Amareom..

A vi niste culi Vujesevica? Pa Cikago sad trazi novog pleja i zato Partizan ne moze da dovede pojacanje na toj poziciji.
