This is the first thread of series “The Greatest Footballer Of All-Time In Each Position” . Due to the fact that some keeping skills and factors of football has been developing until nowadays such as

In the final match of the 1950 World Cup, known as the "Maracanazo" due to Uruguay's surprising win at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro, in front of near 200,000 Brazilian fans, Máspoli allowed one goal as the visitors beat favorites Brazil 2-1. Angelo Peruzzi is rated as one of the best goalkeepers of Italy in the late 1990s. A fat shape goalkeeper, was great in all skills of keeping. He was the main pillar of Juventus to win 3 Italian Series A Titles and also reaching 3 UEFA champion league final. He was started the first team for Italy just only one tournament in EURO 96. He was scheduled to be the starter at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, but suffered a late injury and was replaced by Gianluca Pagliuca. Hans Van Breukelen is one of the greatest goalkeepers Holland has ever had, making his debut against Germany in 1980. Two years later, he was bought by English team Nottingham Forest as a replacement for Peter Shilton. He still has the record for keeping a clean sheet at ten successive home games, or 1,018 minutes, during the 1970-71 season. He was an outstanding keeper to help Spain won EURO 64.
