Gats, known as the Black Swordsman, seeks sanctuary from the demonic forces attracted to him and his woman because of a demonic mark on their necks, and also vengeance against the man who branded him as an unholy sacrifice. Plot Summary : When Okajima Rokuro visits Southeast Asia carrying a top secret disk, he is kidnapped by pirates riding in the torpedo boat, “Black Lagoon”. Although he thought he would be rescued soon, the company actually abandons him, and sends mercenaries to retrieve the secret disk. He narrowly escapes with his life, but has nowhere to go. He gives up his name and past, and resolves to live as a member of the Black Lagoon.

Rion is on a mission to find her missing friend Shihoko. Her only two clues was a card given to her by Shihoko and her best friend was in love with a vampire. Thus she headed down to a club filled with pretty male escorts whom she insist are vampires. Suou, the owner of the club, insist that he doesn't know a Shihoko at all and claims that they were not vampires. and decides to chase her out of the club. In order to obtain the truth, Rion throws a very very expensive bottle of wine onto the ground to prove that she is not leaving, for now she has to work part-time at the club. Later, she realises that Suou and gang were not the vampires that kidnapped Shihoko but another group. However, in the nick of life and death for both Shihoko and Rion, another group of vampires come along to save them. So who are the real vampires now?

Plot Summary : Busou Renkin is the story of teenager Kazuki Muto, who dies trying to save a girl who was being attacked by an eerie monster. The girl, Tokiko Tsumura, was actually trying to slay the homunculus (a beast that can take the form of humans, but whose main source of food is people), but Kazuki got in her way. To revive Kazuki, Tokiko replaces his heart with a "kakugane," an alchemic device that allows him to summon a lance with which to fight the monsters. It turns out that Tokiko is a member of Renkin Kenshi (Alchemist Soldiers), an organization sworn to protect the world from the diabolical creatures. Soon, Kazuki joins Tokiko in her quest to terminate the sinister being that creates and controls the homunculus.

Candy is a six year old orphan who lives in a foster home near Lake Michigan with Ms. Pony and Sister Lynne (in some countries, her name is Sister Maria or Sister Mary). She was found by them when she was a baby together with Annie during a cold winter night. She frequently causes mischief with her young friends, especially with her best friend Annie. She has also got a racoon named Clynn that will accompany her in most of her future adventures. One day, Annie is adopted by rich parents the Brightons (Britter in some countries). She writes letters to Candy but soon she tells her that her parents prefer that she forget about her past. Heartbroken, Candy goes to her favorite place, Pony's Hill, to cry but soon she hears the voice of a boy, asking her: "Little girl, you are prettier when you smile than when you cry". The boy is dressed in a full Scottish outfit and carries a bagpipe. Candy is shocked by his outfit but soon they become friends and he plays the bagpipe for her. When she turns around to pick up Annie's letter, the boy mysteriously disappears. The only suggestion that it was not a dream is a brooch in the shape of an eagle with the letter "A" on it. Candy nicknames him "The Prince of the Hill" and she will daydream about this encounter all her life.

Plot Summary: Sakura Kinomoto was an ordinary 4th grader until the day she opened a strange book and let dozens of powerful magic cards loose on the world. However, much to the reluctant Sakura's dismay, things aren't going to be easy for her; simply saying magic words and waving her wand around isn't good enough. Jin Young is a good student with good grades, but she has a little bit of an unstable mind. Hye Jung is a cheerful girl who helps out at her mom's "snack shop", a sort of small restaurant that offers light meals to diners. Both attended the same school, and both transferred to an independent-study private school, where they meet Si Hyung who is an instructor there. Si Hyung used to live in the same neighborhood with Jin Young when they were young, but he's surprised how Jin Young has changed into a cold person.
