Tekken 3 on the HTC HD2 using FPSECE 0.10



Talking about emulators, here it Tekken 3 being played on the HTC HD2 using FPSECE 0.10, which we wrote about a few days ago.

This Playstation emulator was also recently upgraded to support multi-touch on the HD2, and also to support bluetooth controllers, amongst many other features.

Privacy filter for the HTC HD2 screen now available

The HTC HD2 has a great screen, and also a great viewing angle.  In fact, in a bit of informal testing, the text on the screen became illegible due to the obliqueness of the angle rather than any distortion of the on-screen image.

The protector of course has some disadvantages:

The new hd2Wobble demoed on HTC HD2


Here’s a look at the latest version of the hdWobble app on the HTC HD2. Although it looks like the previous one, this version is done from scratch. It is based on the OpenGL ES library for Windows mobile.

I recently got my self a new HTC HD2 phone, and since it is supporting multitouch technology I decided to see if I can use it in this app. As it is shown in the video, I managed to implement pinch-zooming and rotation of the loaded image as well as resizing of the wobbling area. There are lots of things that need to be polished and implemented, but I hope that this version will live to see it, unlike the previous one. There is no download available yet. At first it will be released only for the HTC HD2 device. As soon as it is completed I will release it for download. Not sure yet if it is going on the Marketplace or not.

HTC HD 2 playing Tekken 3 using blueooth gamepad



Ok im now officially jealous, This video shows the HTC HD2 playing Tekken 3 (my favorite game) using the MSI BGP100 bluetooth gamepad. This was all possible thanks to the FpseCE 0.10 software  (Windows Mobile Playstation emulator).

HTC HD2 beats iPhone 3GS, Droid, Nokia N900 and Palm Pre in browser test 



AreaMobile.de performed a browser comparison between the leading smartphones currently on the market, and I would not have to tell HTC HD2 owners that their device would perform pretty well.

The the speed test the HTC HD2 was only second the iPhone 3GS, and equal when the site had been visited previously (see the table below)
