Rendžersima derbi "stare firme"


Glazgov Rendžersi naneli su Seltiku prvi ligaški poraz sezone na domaćem terenu, pošto su golom engleskog defanzivca Uga Ehioga u 50. minutu dobili tradicionalni derbi "stare firme" rezultatom 1:0.

Uprkos neočekivanom neuspehu, Seltik posle 30 odigranih kola ima lagodnih 16 bodova prednosti u odnosu na drugoplasirane Rendžerse.

Seltik je u prvom poluvremenu bio dominantan, a najbolju priliku propustio je u 24. minutu, kada je sudija propustio da im dodeli jedanaesterac. Upravo strelac pobedonosnog gola srušio je u kaznenom prostoru Ejdena Mekgidija, medjutim, pištaljka je ostala nema.

Rendžersi su izdržali pritisak, a onda početkom drugog dela poveli spektakularnim udarcem "makazicama", koji je izveo tamnoputi štoper. Golman domaćih Artur Boruc nije imao nikakvih šansi da odbrani taj šut.

"Retki su i najveći evropski klubovi koji dodju na ovaj stadion i pobede, tako da je ovo svakako sjajan rezultat za nas. Seltik je počeo meč mnogo bolje i trebalo nam je dobrih 25 minuta da se stabilizujemo. Imali smo sreće da u tom periodu ne primimo gol", izjavio je menadžer Rendžersa Volter Smit.

Njegov kolega Gordon Strahan konstatovao je da su gosti postigli fantastičan pogodak, koji im je ulio novu energiju.

"Posle primljenog gola ostali smo u šoku, jer nismo mogli da verujemo da gubimo posle onako nadmoćne igre".
