Drogba: "Prihvatiću svaku kaznu"

Fudbaler Čelsija Didije Dorgba saopštio je da će prihvatiti svaku kaznu koju mu odredi UEFA zbog ponašanja na revanš utakmici polufinala LŠ protiv Barselone.

UEFA je optužila Drogbu i njegovog saigrača Žozea Bosingvu da su posle revanš utakmice polufinala Lige šampiona protiv Barselone vređali norveškog sudiju Toma Heninga Ovreba. Revanš utakmica na ’Stamofrd Bridžu’ 6. maja odigrana je bez pobednika (1:1), a Barselona je prošla u finale zbog gola postignutog u gostima.

Katalonski klub je kasnije osvojio trofej, posle pobede nad Mančester junajtedomrezultatom 2:0. Fudbaleri Čelsija su u nekoliko navrata tokom utakmice tražili od norveškog sudije da dosudi jedanaesterac, što on nije prihvatio.

Napadač Čelsija rekao je da se neće žaliti na kaznu koju budu dobio.

"Nije lako, ali prihvatiću svaku kaznu koju mi odredi UEFA. Istrpeću kaznu i posle toga ću se vratiti mnogo jači", rekao je Drogba.

Takođe, disciplinski postupak se vodi i protiv kluba zbog nedoličnog ponašanja fudbalera, ali i zbog navijača koji su tokom utakmice bacali razne predmete na teren.

Na kraju utakmice Drogba i nekoliko igrača Čelsija su okružili sudiju tražeći objašnjenje, a obezbeđenje na stadionu je sprečilo da internacionalac Obale Slonovače dođe u kontakt sa sudijom.

"Ponašao sam se veoma loše posle utakmice i to niko ne želi da gleda na fudbalskim stadionima pa ni UEFA", dodao je Drogba.

Bivši trener Čelsija Gus Hidink rekao je da se nada da će UEFA razumeti, i da je izvinjenje koje je Drogba javno uputio sasvim dovoljno.

Chelsea nudi Drogbi produljenje ugovora i veću plaću

NOGOMETNOM reprezentativcu Obale Bjelokosti i napadaču Chelseaja Didieru Drogbi (31) aktualni ugovor s klubom istječe u lipnju sljedeće godine, a proteklih su tjedana za njegove usluge pokazali Marseille, Milan i Manchester City.

Daily Telegraph ipak navodi da je najvjerojatnije da će Drogba ostati u Chelseaju, budući da mu klub sa Stamford Bridgea nudi novi trogodišnji ugovor s poboljšanim financijskim uvjetima.

Trenutno Drogbina tjedna primanja iznose 80.000 funti, a prema novom bi ugovoru navodno zarađivao oko 100.000 funti.

"Vjerujem u ovaj klub i mislim da Chelsea ima blistavu budućnost. Mislim da smo stvorili nešto posebno i da će puno kvalitetnih igrača u budućnosti htjeti doći ovdje igrati. Ponosan sam što sam dio ovog velikog kluba i želim ostati u njemu sve dok me žele",  rekao je nedavno Drogba.

Broken-hearted Blues fans still coming to terms not just with Luiz Felipe Scolari's embarrassing, mid-season departure, but Guus Hiddink's affair to remember that followed, can't quite bring themselves to full throttles of enthusiasm over the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as coach at Stamford Bridge, as announced this morning.

To them, this is just another backwards step imposed by the tightening grip of the recession on the riches of billionaire club owner, Roman Abramovich. Ever since his fortune began disintegrating, so have the bones of many that held together Jose Mourinho's champions of the short-lived 2004-06 golden era.

Scolari, appointed to restore some of that shattered prestige and add into the mix a brand of attacking flair being craved as desperately by the fans as it has been by Abramovich, saw his reign end in premature failure as he lost big games on the pitch and big players in the dressing room, one by one until he was left with none.

His name had exuded class from his World Cup-winning exploits with Brazil and England-beating birthright in charge of Portugal. The mere possibility he may have in any way gone on to fail was barely considered. Yet now, the loss of a second 'Special One' later, a vast amount of doubt is clouding the appointment of Ancelotti and unforgiving parallels with Scolari have already been drawn up and set in stone.

The most recent memories of the 49-year-old are of him being in charge of an ageing Milan side that failed to qualify for the Champions League, were knocked out of the UEFA Cup by Werder Bremen and trailed behind Jose Mourinho's Inter in the Scudetto race.

Blame can be placed all over to explain Milan's recent plight, but it is far from being squarely the responsibility of their departing coach. Factor in Calciopoli, the global recession (to which the Premier League has thus far remained comparatively immune) and the small matter of ‘Carletto’ having completed eight seasons as coach at San Siro - an exceptionally long period by continental standards.

The time was right for this change. Cast your minds back to the beginning of the decade when Ancelotti, barely into his forties, put together the magical Milan team of which we still see the remnants today. Creating the roles of Pirlo, Gattuso, Seedorf and Kaka was none other than Ancelotti - a coach so close to his players that some shed tears when he announced his departure - recreating that perfect balance between business and personal, skill and power and attack and defence will be top of his list of priorities.

This was a team that looked so invincible at the back, imperious in possession and cut-throat in front of goal. Technically, they were the pinnacle of a football team, up there with Real Madrid's Galacticos and the current Barcelona side as one of the best in modern history.

But when the budget dried up, so did the trophies. Maybe there was a lack of invention on his part to wheel-and-deal to better effect, but it is a shortcoming that will soon fade into irrelevance, as for Chelsea to get where they need to be, they don't need the Big Sam approach to management, but to invest in world class. Few across the globe can pick them better than Carletto.

Chelsea want to complete their collection. They want the Champions League, and this is a man better equipped than just about anybody else left in the game at getting it. In this particular respect, there can be no debate.

What he now needs at the Bridge is what escaped him in his dying days at San Siro: a fresh challenge and fresh funding. If Abramovich can produce even a third of the money that went the way of Mourinho, then Ancelotti will be able to complete two, or maybe three world class acquisitions to put the Blues in genuine contention for all the silverware on offer next season.

Concerning most Blues fans upon announcement of the appointment was that this will be Scolari all over again, with the language barrier proving a particular obstacle, but an interview with Chelsea TV has gone some way towards dispelling the notion that this will be a man in the cut of Ranieri or even England boss Fabio Capello, traipsing around town with an interpreter. Adapting to England may not be easy, but it is in that respect no greater a gamble than Arsene Wenger or Rafa Benitez were.

No, the main obstacle Ancelotti will face is Real Madrid - a club he could have even been managing himself at this moment. Both sides are looking for the same number of players and in similar positions. The Spanish giants have the greater pulling power - which may hinder Carletto's quest for the likes of prime targets Xabi Alonso, Kaka or Ribery - but with better backing than that offered to Avram Grant and his own superior decision-making acumen to Scolari, winning under Ancelotti is almost an inevitability for Chelsea.

Contrary to common perception, this is a man with a lot more behind him than Scolari. His record of three Champions League finals in five years - and five out of six years in the semi-finals or beyond - is a monumental feat, and though there were a couple of capitulations against Deportivo and of course Liverpool, the fact they are being given so much of the spotlight speaks volumes for the level of criticism already facing the Italian, a month before he will even officially take charge at the club.

That negativity will do him no favours, but is unlikely to deter him from at very least following in the footsteps of Hiddink. He could have even come close to Mourinho's record were it not for the strengthening of Manchester United and Liverpool over the past few years.

Having said that, Blues cannot begin looking too far ahead. One stereotype you can attribute to him as an Italian is not so much that he is defensive, but more that he is not particularly trusting in youth. He will have little motivation to invest in and groom youngsters as there is minimal chance of him seeing out the entirety of his three-year contract.

Any success could quite conceivably be followed by a swift departure for a new challenge and the chance to leave still a hero, not making quite the same mistake he did at Milan. Conversely, if he should fail in his first season, he will most likely be the victim of a ruthless axing to free the way for the return of a certain Guus Hiddink. This time, it will be permanent, as the fan favourite will have finished his mission and honoured his contract with the Russian national team.

In this respect, the Blues have all their bases covered and they, as a club, would struggle to lose from this standpoint. Ancelotti, with Abramovich behind him, may just be thinking the same thing.

Кад је Сколари дошао, нисам баш био убеђен у његов успех. Задњи пут је водио неки клуб скоро десет година пре тога и то све у Јужној Америци.

Кад је Анћелоти у питању, заиста не могу да претпоставим, како ће ствари ићи.
