Galliani Keen On Zambrotta And Sheva
Milan manager Adriano Galliani revealed he is negotiating for both Barcelona's Gianluca Zambrotta and Chelsea's Andriy Shevchenko.

After momentarily putting aside dream targets like Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o, and Didier Drogba, Milan's transfer negotiations are currently primarily centered around two players: Barcelona's Gianluca Zambrotta and Chelsea's Andriy Shevchenko, who, of course, has glorious past with the Rossoneri.

Transfer guru Adriano Galliani officially confirmed that both players are currently being negotiated.

"We are in talks for Zambrotta, if the price goes down we will buy him, but there's no rush," he said. It seems that, although the Italian international and former Juventus full back is highly wanted by Milan, he will only come under the right financial conditions.

On Shevchenko, Galliani said: "If Chelsea let him go, Sheva will come, but it only depends on Chelsea. Roman Abramovich and Peter Kenyon know very well what are Milan's conditions. If they are available, we will certainly buy Sheva."

Andriy Shevchenko played for the Rossoneri between 1999 and 2006, winning a plethora of trophies and individual awards, including the Golden Ball, and scoring 127 goals.

The Corriere della Sera understands AC Milan are interested in São Paulo central defender Miranda...

Reports emanating from Italy suggest AC Milan are drawing up a list of targets for the defensive sector after a disappointing campaign in which they finished in 5th place in Serie A.

And Miranda, who was recently called up to play for the Brazilian national squad, seems to be high on Carlo Ancelotti's list of reinforcements.

The 23-year-old defender has one year of European football, having played for French side Sochaux during the 2005/06 season.

Meanwhile, São Paulo coach, Muricy Ramalho, played down these reports, stressing that the Italian side have not approached the club over a transfer.

"Not even Miranda knows if there is an interest in him," Ramalho said. "He is a player that everyone wants and his future is in Europe but nothing has been discussed yet."

Miranda, who signed for São Paulo in 2007 after one season on loan from Sochaux, has a valid contract with the Tricolor Paulista until 2011.

Ancelotti Meets Abramovich

According to La Repubblica, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to join Chelsea after meeting with Roman Abrahamovic in Switzerland.
Chelsea are currently looking for a top class coach in order to fill the vacant role at Stamford Bridge. Ancelotti has been loosely linked with a move to the Blues for quite some time, and now it's looking likely after the Rossoneri tactician was seen together with Abrahamovic in Geneva.
According to reports in Italy, the two met and spoke briefly but Ancelotti denies any speculation of a move and he insists that he was only there on holiday rather than talk about a potential move to West London.
"I am here on Holiday so that I can relax," Ancelotti told La Repubblica.
"Abrahamovic? I don't really know him and to be honest I am only thinking about Milan and no-one else."
Marcello Lippi is tipped to take the Milan spot after the club failed miserably this season and thus this could pave the way for Ancelotti to move to the Premier League.
Milan will play UEFA Cup football this season and the board of directors are not too happy with the way things panned out this term.
Ancelotti's future on the Milan bench is not as certain as it may seem and Abrahamovic's mega money may be too hard to resist.
