a lot of people asked how to re-install themes in S60 OS9.1 3rd edition, because they disappeared from apps manager and are not in the memory, but can't be re-installed. Here is a brief tutorial, hope it'll be helpful.

Just a thing: it's a bug of the OS, not of the themes!

that happens because phone has a log file stored somewhere in c:/private (or in another protected folder). if you want to reinstall a theme you need to use unsis and extract the folder to put into private/10207114/import/

Tested by me, every time & still work!
so, let start:

A ) Download Unsis for 3rd Edition
B ) Take the usb cable for connecting phone to pc

1. Install and open unsis

2. choose "Open SIS" on bottom left



3. choose the theme you want to reinstall



4. After all .mbm, .mif, .skn & .ini appear, you may click on "Extract"



5. You may close the program.

6. go into installation folder (usually C:/Unsis) & there should be a folder called "Temp"....go further & you may find C:\uNsIs\temp\private\10207114\import (my directory is default directory, because I installed unsis in C: )



7. go inside the folders and search for the theme that you already extracted earlier (in this case is folder '1e51884d4c164d43'), there'll be 4 files:
a ) NameOfTheFolder.ini
b ) NameOfTheTheme.mbm
c ) NameOfTheTheme.mif
d ) NameOfTheTheme.skn



8. Done? now, don't close this folder and connect your phone to pc using the usb cable/BT

9. choose "mass storage". Note: you can also insert your memory card into a card reader.

10. find the folder called "private" . If you don't see it, you need to enable 'show hidden folders' in tools/folder options/view

11. after you find it, go to: private\10207114\import

12. Final step, copy (From C:\uNsIs\temp\private\10207114\import\) & paste folder '1e51884d4c164d43' to private\10207114\import (this directory is from your memory card, so the drive maybe different).

here we are, now your theme is again in the memory, just restart the phone and check if theme is ok, if there is not in the theme menu, something get wrong, and you need to repeat the recovery process again.
