Our 3rd album is finally released in November 2007 for PGP-RTS.

First new ideas for the 3rd album came up in the year 2001. Obviously we didn't rushed this time, but there were also other reasons why it took us 6 years to release this album. In the meantime, lots of people thought SMF is not existing anymore, mainly because we slowed down with the gigs, but the truth is we were stuck in our home-made studio. The situation forced us to do everything on our own, from creating music and lyrics, over sound engineering, mixing and mastering, to final touches like cover design and video editing. For the first time we took it all in our hands, spent huge amounts of time and energy in learning new stuff, spent even more time and energy in working it all out practically, but now, the final results appear to be surprisingly well done.

It was time to make some small changes. Our authentic "old school" metalcore style from the late '80 is now transformed into a radically improved audio image, which is fully fitting in current music production standards and more appropriate for new listeners. At the first place, we wanted album to sound loud and powerful, no compromises in that domain. It was quite easy with Sale's voice, which now sounds roughest then ever, after decades of drinking beer and smoking tons of weed. He screamed the wildest possible vocals for this album and that way determined the expression of the whole band. Usual, vintage shredding guitar is now enriched with a sonic edge. Bass is frequently wide and much more mighty then before. The most experiments we did on drums, less in sounding department, more on rhythms themselves. We broke a beat here and there to get the right groove. We involved syncope and were surprised how well it goes along with our "weird" riffs. Finally, we even dared to use odd time signatures, like 7/8 tact (7 beats per time measure).

We could say that this album is a small step towards modern trends. There are some elements of heavy industrial sound, drum'n'bass and techno, but those are just minor influences. Basically, it's only a "crossover thrash" as we all know it: hardcore punk and thrash metal mixed with our "in your face" lyrics and unique harmonic themes.

Songs last a bit longer then before, each one is formed in a different way and has it's own atmosphere. Some of the lyrics are not complete comedy as before, but they all contain elements of sarcasm and irony.
