Možda najkorisnije i nadasve najkorišćenije aplikacije u Symbian aparatima su tkz. file manager-i preko kojih se obavljaju sve moguće funkcije kopiranja, premeštanja i baratanja sa fajlovima koji postoje kako u samoj telefonskoj memoriji tako i na memorijskoj kartici.
Najpribližnije objašnjenje ovih programa je sličnost po funkcijama i radu sa PC programom Total Commander.

Najbolja moguća aplikacija je sigurno FExplorer 1.15 zbog mogućnosti koju gotovo ni jedan drugi program takve namene nema -> mogućnost kopiranja i premeštanja fajlova iz "Inbox-a" pored još par novina u verziji 1.16!



Velika novina je i to što je autor ove aplikacije g. Dominique Hugo gotovo uspeo da svoj FExplorer uspešno odradi i za Symbian OS verziju 9.1(N80) ali problemi i dalje ostaju sa sigurnosnim sertifikatima koje nosi sa sobom ovaj novi OS. Nadam se da će ubrzo biti prevazidjeni i rešeni. Sam autor traži pomoć poznavaoca ove materije ... samim tim, ako se neko oseća znalcem .... neka slobodno kontaktira i učestvuje u stvarnju ove izvanredne aplikacije.

Mogućnosti FExplorer v.1.16 beta:

FileExplorer lets you manipulate the files of your Nokia phone,you can use the cut/copy/paste functions through the directories, you can also send files via bluetooth or infrared. Other usefull functions are also available such as making or removing directories, keeping the light always on etc.

* shortcut '8' has been added to rename a file

* it's now possible to choose with which installed application a file must be open ('open with...' function), this new settings is saved from one to another session of FExplorer, you can now choose your favorite MP3 player !

* when a file is in used by the OS (locked), it's now possible to copy it

* the setting files can now be placed everywhere (not only in the directory of FExplorer) even in an other 'drive', this allows to put FExplorer in EEPROM (for the siemens for example ...)

* in the settings, it's now possible to choose if the system and hidden files must be displayed or not (in one time)

* in the settings, it's now possible to choose between the 'true icon' associated with a file or some built-in icons (app/sounds/pictures), this increase drastically the display of content of a directory when there are a lot of files ....

Druga po redu takodje nezamenljva i obavezna aplikacija u svakom Symbian telefonu pored FExplorer-a je ProfiExplorer firme Lonely Cat Games!
ProfiExplorer dolazi u paketu sa programom Profi Mail i pored svih funkcija jednog kompletnog file manager-a koje uglavnom poseduju sve aplikacije takve namene on se izdvaja mogućnošću direktnog slanja zaštićenih fajlova bez preimenovanja njihovih ekstenzija tipa .sis, .jar i sl.
Pored ove izuzetne mogućnosti ovo je mnogo brža aplikacija od FExplorer-a - brže otvara i ulazi u foldere i podmenije!
Moj savet svima: instalirati verziju 2.36 i ništa novije od toga.



ProfiMail(uz koji dolazi i ProfiExplorer) postoji za Symbian verziju 9.1, no nisam upućen u to da li se instalacijom ProfiMail aplikacije instalira i ProfiExplorer na telefonima verzije 9.1 i kako sam program izgleda.

Legendarni file manager i verujem prvi file manager dostojan Symbian OS-u i verovatno prvi koji se uopšte pored FExplorer-a i pojavio.
Dugo je vremena bio glavni protivnik FExplorer-u i bio prisutan u svim S60 telefonima.
Mislim da je FExplorer nad njim odneo pobedu ubacivanjem mogućnosti kopiranja fajlova koji stižu bluetooth-om u "inbox-u" i samim tim postao lider na tržištu file managera za Symbian OS!

Pored osnovne namene baratanja sa fajlovima ovaj program ima i par extra dodataka kao što su:

Vredi posedovati ovu aplikaciju takodje u telefonu naročito uzimajući u obzir obilje informacija o sistemu i samom telefonu koje nudi!
