_MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY_



            Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors, Akron, Ohio is being

awarded a cost reimbursable contract to build and demonstrate the technical

feasibility and military utility of the High Altitude Airship.  Under this

contract, Lockheed Martin will develop an unmanned and untethered prototype airship

with the requirement of remaining on station for one continuous month at a nominal

cruise altitude.  This prototype vehicle will also have a minimum payload capacity

of 500 pounds with 3 kW of power.  The total contract effort is estimated at

$149,220,102.  The principal place of performance will be at Lockheed Martin in

Akron, Ohio and completion is expected by November 2010.  The Missile Defense

Agency is the contracting activity for contract HQ0006-06-C-0001



                              DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY



            Ssangyong (USA) Inc., Fort Lee, N.J., is being awarded a maximum

$100,931,399, fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for F76 and JP8

Fuel.  The using services are the Navy and Air Force.  Additional location of

performance include S-Oil Corp., Ulsan Metropolitan City, Korea.  This is a base

year contract with a 30-day carryover period.  There were 18 proposals solicited

and 11 responded.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal

year. The performance completion date is January 30, 2007.  The contracting

activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va.  (SP0600-06-D-0459)



                                        NAVY



            Raytheon Systems, d/b/a Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being

awarded a $59,384,853 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price

contract (N00019-04-C-0006) to exercise an option for the fiscal 2006 procurement

of 196 AIM-9X Tactical Missiles for the U.S. Air Force (103) and the U.S. Navy

(93); 125 Captive Air Training Missiles for the U.S. Air Force (70), U.S. Navy

(42), and the Government of Switzerland (13); and 100 containers for the U.S. Air

Force (55), the U.S. Navy (38), and the Government of Switzerland (7).  This

contract combines purchases of the U.S. Air Force ($31,685,238; 53.4 percent), U.S.

Navy ($24,946,605; 42 percent), and the Government of Switzerland ($2,753,010; 4.6

percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  Work will be performed in

Tucson, Ariz. (84 percent), Rocket Center, West Va. (13 percent), and Andover,

Mass. (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2008.  Contract funds

will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems

Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.



            Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a

$33,553,514 not-to-exceed modification to definitize a previously issued delivery

order against basic ordering agreement N00019-03-G-0003, and to provide additional

funding for the MH-60S Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) Block 2B Phase II Test

Support and System Development effort.  The overall delivery order after

definitization has a not-to-exceed value of $60,620,294, inclusive of the basic

award and this modification.  Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is

expected to be completed in December 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the

end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md.

is the contracting activity.



            Maersk Line, Limited, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $12,833,018

firm-fixed-price, plus reimbursables contract for the time charter of M/V LTC John

U.D. Page to preposition combat cargo and equipment worldwide.  The contract

includes four one-year options, which if exercised, would bring the total award

amount to $65,588,156.  Total reimbursables are estimated to be $9,000,000.  The

vessel is anticipated to be primarily located at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

Work is expected to be completed by January 2011.  Contract funds will expire at

the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured with

more than 50 proposals solicited and one offer received.  The U.S. Navy's Military

Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-06-C-3305).



            Raytheon's Network Centric Systems, St. Petersburg, Fla., is being

awarded a $7,152,576 firm-fixed-price contract for FY 2006 item requirements for

the Navy's Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program.  CEC fuses the

distributed data into a fire control quality, single, air track picture that

significantly improves own unit track precision, consistency and continuity;

expands detection ranges; and increases reaction time.  CEC also improves battle

force effectiveness by improving overall situational awareness and by enabling

longer range, cooperative, multiple, or layered engagement strategies.

Requirements are for two Antenna Environmental Control Units; Input/Output

Converter and Planar Array Antenna Assembly, which comprise the AN/USG-2(A); three

Installation and Checkout kits and four Planar Array Antenna Assemblies.  Work will

be performed in Largo, Fla. (55 percent); St. Petersburg, Fla. (31 percent); Fla.,

Dallas, Texas (9 percent); McKinney, Texas (4 percent); and El Segundo, Calif. (1

percent), and is expected to be completed by August 2007.  Contract funds will not

expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively

procured.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting

activity (N00024-06-C-5102).



                                         ARMY



            O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co., Fairfield, Ohio, was awarded on

Dec. 5, 2005, a $34,410,008 firm-fixed-price contract for Up-Armor High Mobility

Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicles with Gun Shield.  Work will be performed in

Fairfield, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2006.  Contract funds

will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source

contract initiated on April 10, 2000.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments

Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-S019).



            Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Co. L.L.C., Independence,

Mo., was awarded on Dec. 5, 2005, a delivery order amount of $8,327,547 as part of

a $9,820,445 firm-fixed-price contract for Packout of 7.62mm Armor Piercing

Ammunition.  Work will be performed Independence, Mo., and is expected to be

completed by Sept. 30, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 5, 2005.

The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity

(DAAA09-99-D-0016).



_DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY_



            Carytown Seafood was awarded a requirements contract on Dec. 8, 2005,

in the estimated amount of $8,131,543, to furnish all personnel, supervision, fresh

and freshly frozen random weight seafood products, and other items (unless

otherwise specified) necessary to operate a well stocked seafood market resale

operation.  Work will performed in Richmond, Va. with delivery to commissaries at:

Bolling Air Force Base, Washington D.C.; Fort Meade and Andrews Air Force Bases,

Md.; Fort Belvoir, Quantico MCCDC, Little Creek Naval Air Base, Langley Air Force

Base, Norfolk Naval Station, Ft Eustis, and Ft Lee Va., with a completion date of

January 31, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal

year.  Seventeen firms were solicited and seven proposals were received.  The

contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Resale Contracting Division,

Resale Services Support Branch, 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, Va. 23801-1800.
