Od danas pocinjem radi svojih potreba da sredjujem tekst o nemackim vazduhoplovnim jedinicama u Jugoslaviji za vreme drugog svetskog rata. Kako koji deo uradim tako cu ga ovde predstaviti. Trenutno nisam u mogucnosti da spremim i slike. Evo vam prvi deo.

Luftwaffe units in Yugoslavia

Flugbereischaft- aviation units of the commander of Serbia, stationed on Zemun [Semlin] airfield from May 1941. During 1941 and 1942 they were engaged in many of duties: liaison, observation, transport, air delivery etc. By the mid of October 1941 it had in equipment two Ju52, two Fw58 and one Fi156. This unit was transformed in autumn of 1943.

Aviation unit of Generalluftuftzeugmeister- in autumn 1941 on Zemun airfield. In the mid of October it had in equipment one Ju52 and one Ca 310. Pilot’s of these planes was civilian, ex-pilot’s from Yugoslav Kingdom aviation, Gorjup and Jankovski. This unit was mostly served for the needs of management in aviation industry and departments of aviation technical services but in a reason of the situation in Serbia they had take part in many of actions for the German command such as transport, mail, material delivery, evacuation etc.

Aviation unit of Oberst Donh- with a staffel of Ju87 Stuka [eleven aircraft’s] and one bomber staffel with Do17 [thirteen aircraft]. On request of the chief of the Croatian general staff headquarter this unit had came in Zagreb [Agram] airfield by the end of July 1941 and had a combat activities in the Bosanski Petrovac area. After that they had a demonstration flight over insurgency area in Bosnia and at the 6. August they had return to their home base in Reich.

Flying school A/B 123- by the end of July 1941 came in Zagreb to support with its airplanes combat against insurgency. Already in August they take part in combat actions in Bosnia, often with mixed crew, German pilots and Croatian observers. Airplanes from this unit was used some later too for combat activities. From May 1943 school is allocated on Gratz-Talerhof airfield.
