-Eros Zine: You are the hardest-to-research girl in the world. It's very difficult to find any information on you at all.

Naomi: (Laughing) I can't even find my own stuff. I've never been promoted by anybody, really.

Eros Zine: Well, one accurate piece of information on you says that you're a very private person.

Naomi: Yes. That is very true. I'm very, very, very private and I like to stay to myself. I like to stay at home. I like the outdoors and I like to rock climb, water-ski and bicycle-ride, but other than that I'm a pretty stay-at-home type person.

Eros Zine: Where are you from originally?

Naomi: I'm from Los Angeles.

Eros Zine: How old are you?

Naomi: I'm 23.

Eros Zine: What did you do before you got in the business?

Naomi: I was a legal analyst and a litigator.

Eros Zine: That seems like it would pay decent money…

Naomi: It was pretty good, but I still have a year to go before I graduate law school. I went through a divorce and the divorce was so time-consuming in terms of stress and mental management that I really needed to take a vacation and do some other things for myself.

Eros Zine: How did you get into adult?

Naomi: I researched it. That sounds nerdy, doesn't it? And I thought about it and I did a couple of scenes and decided to do it.

Eros Zine: What was the first scene that you ever did?

Naomi: Well, my first scene in my career was in "Cum Fiesta." But the two scenes that I did before that, when I was doing it on a trial basis, were for Justin Slayer. My first scene was August 2nd, 2005; the very first scene I ever did.

Eros Zine: Was it difficult?

Naomi: No, not at all. I wasn't nervous.

Eros Zine: Have you always been kind of open-minded sexually?

Naomi: My family is European and, on top of it, I was home-schooled and so I'm very liberal and open-minded. I was always taught, you know, to not be closed-minded about things.

Eros Zine: What is your ethnic background?

Naomi: I'm Slovak and Israeli.

Eros Zine: Working with Evil Angel -- a lot of really great careers have been launched here.

Naomi: Yeah. I love working with them. They've always treated me well in a lot of ways.

Eros Zine: Now, are you strictly doing gonzo?

Naomi: No, I've done a lot of features.

Eros Zine: What do you prefer?

Naomi: Gonzo.

Eros Zine: Is it because you don't like to spend time waiting around on the set, like usually happens with a feature?

Naomi: Yeah. I suppose, I'm not in it to be an actress or memorize 100-page scripts. I just don't. I'm a very bottom-line type person and I only beat around the bush if I feel it's necessary, in order to elaborate the bottom line. So, for me, I want to give the person what they want. I want to have them feel good; I want to share pleasure, share sex with them. I kind of feel like a lot of times, it's so unnecessary [plot-driven scripts] and it's hard for me to justify putting energy and being motivated to do it. So, therefore, I find myself not being as adequate at it as other people. I prefer not to take it away from people that want to do it. I prefer to do something that I know I'm comfortable doing.

Eros Zine: Evil Angel has a reputation for being kind of extreme. Do you enjoy doing extreme stuff?

Naomi: I consider myself intense, not necessarily extreme. Because pretty much, I love passion. I love doing really intense, passionate scenes. I'm more interested in things like that. I guess I do things differently. I don't do a lot of things that people do that would be considered extreme. My style isn't extreme. Like, I don't necessarily stuff the biggest dildo in me, but if I put it in halfway, I feel that it's just as erotic because it's the action of putting this humungous dildo in you. You know what I mean? It's more the action of doing something than actually doing it. I don't always perform exactly what they may want, but I always try and make the scene feel good and have a good scene.

Eros Zine: How do you feel about extreme content and pushing boundaries?

Naomi: It's just not for me, but by the same token, I've spoken to a lot of girls who want so badly to do that. A lot of people enjoy that type of thing. For me, I want to enjoy myself, so I don't really do a lot of that. I like to do things in a more sensual and erotic way.

Eros Zine: Do you have a particular scene that stands out in your mind as really hot?

Naomi: I don't know. I have so many that were intense while performing them that I can't think of one particular scene.

Eros Zine: Do you have any particular performers that you like working with?

Naomi: I have a few. I love working with a lot of foreign guys because they're so much more confident with their masculinity; it opens them up to much more sexual pleasure, like they really adore sexuality. I find that a lot of the American male porn stars are a little more cocky in their sexual style. I like fluidity -- I think that fluidity is a key component to having good sex.
Eros Zine: Are you using the industry as a stepping stone to other things? Are you planning on going back to the legal field?

Naomi: Yeah, I have one more year until I get my degree and I'm back in school again right now. I actually see this as a phase in my life. It's part of who I am. I didn't expect it. I wasn't looking to be famous. I wasn't looking to be known or anything like that. I was only with one guy in my whole life, at that point for eight years, and I was married. I was always talked-down to because I was always a little bit sexually explicit. So, I really got tired of people judging me that way. I just got tired of people thinking bad things.

Eros Zine: Where were people judgmental of you? In LA?

Naomi: Yes. You have no idea how closed-minded people will be when you push them a little. Even now, I get -- if I'm in the gym or something and I'm wearing shorts, just gym shorts. I've been told, "You know, those shorts are too short." It's just so… people are, you know…

Eros Zine: That blows my mind!

Naomi: I know. It's awful. It's usually, and I hate to say this, but other women. It happens, and I think we should all just be happy and comfortable with ourselves and our peers, and humanity.

Eros Zine: You realize that it probably has to do with some level of envy?

Naomi: Sure. But that's the thing -- I know, but I don't understand that people have the type of mindset that would allow that to happen.

Eros Zine: Well, how do you feel that being a porn star can be a positive role model for women?

Naomi: I think that it can be positive affirmation for several reasons. I think that, for one, a lot of women think that doing something -- a lot of times people view sex as bad -- and so they view having sex as a career, as bad.

I think that what it shows is that a woman can be smart and confident and happy with herself, and have sex and exploit herself and grow and be progressive in her life, without degrading herself or her self-esteem. And I think the ability to stay strong and who you are in this environment can be a role model for someone.

I kind of think, you know, back in the bible days, and back to the 1400 and 1500s, it was a job and something that women did and nobody thought of it in a bad way at all. It's just recently [historically speaking] that it became something that you're not supposed to look up to and do. And I'm not saying, hey, grow up and have sex for money. But I'm saying that it's like you get up and perform a service. Think about it like this -- a lot of people have marriages falling apart and I've been approached by couples that watched my movies and it helped them stay together and so, things like that.

It's not like sex is going to save the world, but I'm just saying that it's the essence of humanity. It's the essence of how we are and our function when we come here is to do, produce and be more. So, I think that in a way -- I don't think it's bad. I don't necessarily consider, "How can you do this with your life?" It's like anything else. Like any career, you make the best of it, to be a success and success is always something to look up to.

Eros Zine: Do you have any fetishes?

Naomi: I don't know if I have one particular fetish, but I would consider myself a very passionate person and I can very easily get caught up in one thing and obsess about it.

Eros Zine: Well, a large segment of your fanbase seems to have a fetish about your butt. But right now, your butt is not that big...

Naomi: I know, I know (laughing). Before I got in the business, I had a bout with cancer and I went on bed rest and I gained a lot of weight, so my butt was bigger then. But even then, it wasn't big. What people see is that I have an arch in my back and I have a slim waist, and they look at the two next to each other and they think it's big. But if I stand next to another girl, they'll go, "Oh my God, your butt's not that big."

They just will not believe me and for some reason people can't understand the optical illusion. My butt is very small. I try to tell people this and they're all weird about it.

It's camera angles. I don't know how to say this, but a lot of people say that I have the butt of a black girl and so that's what it is. It's the shape, not the size.

I'll try to tell people and I feel funny. I'll be at a photo shoot and they're like, "Turn around..." and I feel like that's my worst angle because my butt is so small. I'm actually uncomfortable doing that -- I'm not comfortable with that side of my butt and everybody's obsessed about it.
