The program i am using here is available as a FREE TRIAL (allows 30 'cut tracks') or the full program is ₤13.55 use your favourite search engine to find it.

Right you have the program so lets load it up.



Clik on File then Add File browse your folders to where your full mp3 track is stored.

Select the mp3 file select Open now you will see your track listed.



OK now we are ready to select the part of the track to make our very own True Tone. Theres a few ways to do this but i suggest the following: -

Play the track all the way through. You will see in the Time column the tracks full time/length is 3:52.
Now we need to select about 10 to 15 seconds of music in order to keep the file size reasonable.

Now then to select that 10 to 15 seconds look above you will see 2 clocks marked with red arrows START and END

You can play the track all the way through and make a note of where you want to START and END or you can simply click on the START clock (during playback to select the start) and END clock (during playback to select the end) you will notice the time will appear next to the clock as above. Note i have selected 13 seconds TOTAL TIME.

Now press Cut and you will see the programme cut the track and automatically open the folder where your CUT file is stored.

Congratulations you now have a cut down ripped mp3 file ready to up to your phone.

NOW you know basicaly know what to do lets look at getting that file size smaller!!

Click on Settings at the top



Now you will notice the above picture is DIFFERENT to yours, this is simply due to the default settings i changed mine.

Just simply click on the drop down box next to channel and select MONO no need for stereo. Now look at the bitrate once more click on the drop down box now this time its set at 128Kbps and goes all the way down to 8Kbps the lower the bitrate the smaller the file but you will suffer quality loss.

Simply try for yourself through trial and error as to which bitrate suits the size of the file and quality wanted /needed.

1. In the menu, select File > Open. A dialog opens. The shortcut for this is to click the Open button in the toolbar. Browse for the audio file or video with audio you want to convert and click Open. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop a file to Multimedia Converter.

2. Select the audio format (AMR or WB-AMR) and audio bit rate. WB-AMR produces higher quality sound than AMR. Selecting a higher bit rate increases the quality of the sound, but it produces larger files.

3. It is also possible to set the maximum size of the converted file in the Max file size edit box. In MMS, the size of audio file cannot exceed certain values; for example, 100 kB, because some WAP gateways might block the transfer of larger files, operators might prefer to limit the file size to reduce air-traffic, or because not all MMS client and server implementations support large file sizes. When you set a maximum file size limit, you cannot define the audio bit rate. It's adjusted automatically so that the converted file contains the whole original file from the given start point and so that its size is equal to or smaller than the given size limit. If the given size limit is too small to meet by reducing audio bit rate, the converted file is truncated (shortened from the end).

4. You can start the conversion from an offset point. Set the time stamp of the offset in the Start time edit box. The shortcut for this is to keep the CTRL key pressed and slide the original file location indicator to the desired position. This updates the time stamp information in the Start time edit box.

5. Click Convert. Another dialog pops up and shows the progress of the conversion. After the conversion is finished, you can hear the converted audio file. You can select the original or converted audio for playback by selecting “Original” or “Converted” from the drop down menu


The converted audio file format is AMR (.amr suffix files) or WB-AMR (.awb suffix files), depending on the audio setting.

Postavljeno je u tutorijalima, ne bih da se ponavlja, nema za time neke narocite potrebe, ali ajde... da ne bude stalno duplih pitanja. Postavicu kao sticky.

Znam. Napisao sam da si ti autor i da je preuzeto sa druge teme. Mislio sam da je zgodno da cela procedura bude na jednom mestu, jer je tamo suvise informacija na jednom mestu, pa se tesko covek moze snaci i shvatiti sta se treba uraditi . Mislim ovako je lakse, valjda.

E i ja sam koristio ovaj prog...

ima li neko serijski broj za njega  ili keygen ili sta god ??

Necemo o tome. Kome treba nek sam nadje. Aplikacije za mobilni su jedno, pc software je nesto sasvim drugo.
U ostalom i nema potrebe 30 cut tracks je dovoljno za sve.

Skini register cleaner pa ga koristi ponovo i ponovo.

Kakve veze ima ciscenje registry-ja? Program mozes trajno koristiti uz 30 traka. Nikad ne dobijas full mogucnost pa ona istekne, da bi ciscenje imalo smisla.

Ja trazim neshto wako ali za Pocket PC u pitanju je Qtek 2020 i mogu da postavljam samo wav za melodiju ali ne i mp3.Postoji li za njega neka aplikacija koja ce omoguciti postavku .mp3 za zvono?

convert to ogg format and install OggPlay (it's freeware). then you'll be able to set any ogg file as a ringtone
