Sto godina - sto najboljih filmskih citata

Šta je to sa filmskim citatima što ih čini tako primamljivim da ih koristimo u svakodnevnom životu? Da li su to neke savršeno oblikovane misli, ili je pak reč o tome da se, eto, bar za tih nekoliko sekundi poistovetimo sa svojim omiljenim junacima? Činjenica je da su veliki filmski citati deo kulturološkog rečnika današnjice, iz ma kog razloga to bilo.

U emisiji "AFI 100 godina, 100 filmskih citata" ("AFI's 100 Years, 100 Movie Quotes"), nedavno je objavljeno koji su citati dobili najveći broj glasova članova žirija. Čak 1.500 stručnjaka iz oblasti filma - režisera, scenarista, glumaca, urednika, kinematografa, kritičara i istoričara - bilo je deo ovog impresivnog žirija.

Za najbolji citat proglašena je rečenica: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn", koju Klark Gejbl (Clark Gable) izgovara u filmu "Prohujalo s vihorom" ("Gone With the Wind") iz 1939. godine. Na drugom mestu našla se čuvena rečenica iz filma "Kum" ("The Godfather") iz 1972. godine: "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse", koju, naravno, izgovara kum lično, iliti, Marlon Brando (Marlon Brando). Brando se ujedno našao i na trećem mestu liste sa citatom: "I coulda been a contender", iz filma "On The Waterfront" iz 1954. godine.

"Kazablanka" ima najveći broj citata među najboljih 100 - čak sedam. Najbolje plasirani je: "Here's looking at you kid", koji se našao na petom mestu. Izgovara ga Hamfri Bogart (Humphrey Bogart), to jest njegov lik u filmu - Rik Blejn.

Najstariji citat na listi je: "Wait a minute, wait a minute - you ain't heard nothin yet", iz filma "Jazz Singer", koji je premijerno prikazan 1927. godine. Najmlađi citat na listi je: "My precious", koji Golum izgovara u drugom filmu iz serijala "Gospodar prstenova" - "Dve kule" ("The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers") iz 2002. godine.

Pojedinačno gledano, Hamfri Bogart sa deset citata među najboljih 100 ima najveći broj citata na listi. Bili Vajlder (Billy Wilder) može se pohvaliti da je napisao najveći broj citata sa liste - čak 13. Među njima, svakako je najpoznatija rečenca iz filma "Bulevar sumraka" ("Sunset Boulevard") koju izgovara Glorija Svanson (Gloria Swanson): "All right, Mr DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up".
