            L'Europe centrale et orientale a souvent été au cours de son histoire le lieu d'affrontement de forces impériales et locales, de l'universel et du particulier, dans la configuration complexe de lignes de frontières multiples. Ainsi, la région a été durablement confrontée à la nécessité de reconstruire et repositionner ses identités aussi bien individuelles que collectives. Aussi, le questionnement sur les modalités de la constitution d'une culture historique ainsi que d'une culture mémorielle se présente comme un défi majeur posé à la recherche. Ce problème est rendu encore plus aigu par le contexte actuel des processus de transition et de globalisation, qui de nouveau posent la question de la révision de la mémoire historique et de la (re)construction et/ou de la subversion de modèles identitaires.

            Afin de traiter ces thèmes à partir de différentes perspectives disciplinaires et d'esquisser les contours de futures recherches dans le domaine de l'histoire de la mémoire (mnémohistoire), on tentera, à la lumière de directions théoriques et de paradigmes récents, d'une part, d'interroger du point de vue épistémologique le rapport qu'entretiennent  l'histoire et la mémoire, l'identité et le pouvoir, et d'autre part, au moyen de cas précis, d'analyser et d'interpréter les formes de représentation, les fonctions et les significations de différentes manifestations de mémoire culturelle et sociale et de stratégies d'oubli en Europe centrale et orientale à l'époque moderne et contemporaine.

            Seront privilégiées les communications proposant une approche historique comparative de la problématique de recherche et une mise en perspective inter- ou transculturelle. L'appel est ouvert aux chercheurs en sciences humaines, en particulier sociales, aux étudiants engagés dans des recherches, ainsi qu'aux doctorants. Les propositions de contribution doivent comporter, outre le titre de la communication, un résumé (de 200 mots au maximum) ainsi qu'un bref curriculum vitae. Les langues de travail seront le français et le croate accompagnés de traduction en simultané. Seuls les frais de d'hébergement et de séjour seront entièrement pris en charge.

Les communications peuvent comporter les thèmes et domaines de recherche
suivants :

-          politique de l'histoire et de la mémoire
-          mémoire et construction des identités (nationales, régionales, locales, minoritaires, de genre,...)
-          commémoration, patrimonialisation et création de mémorial
-          mémoire et oubli / dé(con)struction de la mémoire
-          lieux de mémoire : représentations, objets, pratiques
-          patrimoine : mises en scène et usages culturels
-          mémoire collective et "glocale"

            The Central and Eastern Europe often was during its history the
place of confrontation of imperial and local forces, the universal one and of the private individual, in the configuration complexes multiple circuit lines of borders. Thus, the area was durably confronted with the need for  rebuilding and for
repositioning its individual identities as well as collective. Also, the questioning on the methods of the constitution of a historical
culture as of a mémorielle culture is presented in the form of a
major challenge posed at research. This problem is made even acuter by the current context of the
processes of transition and globalisation, who again put the question of the revision of the historical memory
and (the re)construction andor of the subversion of identity models.

            In order to treat these topics starting from various disciplinary
prospects and to outline contours of future research in the field of
the history of the memory (mnémohistoire), one will try, in the light of theoretical directions and recent paradigms, on the one hand, to question from the epistemological point of view the report/ratio
that the history and the memory maintain, identity and capacity, and in addition, by means of precise case, to analyze and interpret the forms of representation, functions and significances of various demonstrations of cultural and
social memory and strategies of lapse of memory in Central and Eastern
Europe at the time modern and contemporary.

            The communications will be privileged proposing a historical approach
comparative of the problems of research and a setting in prospect
inter or transcultural. The call is opened with the researchers in social sciences, in particular social, with the students engaged in research, like with the doctorands. The proposals for a contribution must comprise, in addition to the title of the communication, a summary (of 200 words to the maximum) as well as a short curriculum
vitae. The working languages will be French and Croatian accompanied by
translation into simultaneous. Only the expenses of lodging and stay will be entirely dealt with.

The communications can comprise the topics and fields of research
following:

- policy of the history and the memory
- memory and construction of the identities (national, regional, local, minority, of kind...)
- commemoration, patrimonialisation and creation of memorial
- memory and lapse of memory/ dé(con)struction of the memory
- places of memory: representations, objects, practical
- inheritance: settings in scene and uses cultural
- collective memory and "glocale"
