Evo jedne slike predratnog putnickog aviona Farman. Ja nesto bas i ne njusim te sportake i putnicke al ajd da mi ne sede slike dzabe u zbirci pa da vam ih ovde vrljnem- mozda se nekom i svidi.

At the beginning of the Thirties, the Farman factories study a bomber of large night carrying for the French government. Thus on May 26, 1932, a monoplane with high wing takes off for these first tests. This plane, Farman 220, continues its tests until 1935 in Villacoublay. However during the first months of 1935, all the southern transatlantic flights accomplished by Air France rest on only Blériot 5190 Santos Dumont, the Cross of the South being in revision with Biscarosse. This pushed the Minister for the Air to lend Farman 220 to the airline company. The plane was civilized in particular by transforming the bomb bays into tank, which made pass the autonomy of 2000 to 4500 km and while transforming the post of machine gunner into radio set. After some tests, the plane called Centaure made its first crossing Dakar-Native, June 3, 1935 with Guillaumet with the orders. By showing its qualities, this terrestrial plane gave reason to Mermoz relating to the duel between the seaplanes and the "terrestrial ones".
