                                      CONTRACTS



                                     AIR FORCE



            Aerojet-General Corp., Sacramento, Calif., is being awarded a

$19,920,685 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for research and development to

demonstrate affordable technologies in a strategic upper-stage configuration

applicable to a two or three stage Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System.  The

effort consists of conducting detailed design reviews of the motor to be

fabricated, fabricate motor, develop test plan, test fire motor, and collect and

report results.  At this time, $1,620,699 has been obligated.  This work will be

complete 42 months after option exercise.  The Headquarters 526th ICBM Systems

Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah is the contracting activity (FA8204-05-C-0016).



            Lockheed Martin Co., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $10,299,983

firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide additional Depot Repair Services

to support the C-130J program through Jan. 31 - 6,259 hours of C-130J support,

2,038 hours of WC-130J support, 1,769 hours of CC-130J 9C-130J stretch support and

342 hours of EC-130J support.  Total funds have been obligated.  This work will be

complete by January 2006.  The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center,

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity

(F33657-00-C-0018/ P00157).



            Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,510,278

time and materials contract to provide for modification of 18 Dutch F-16 aircraft

to Chile MLU configurations.  This work involves the removal of Strike and HARM

capability by direction of SAF/IA in order to comply with Chile foreign disclosure

limitations.  At this time, $4,400,000 has been obligated.  This work will be

complete by November 2006.  The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center,

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F42620-01-D-0058

SC77).



            Villanova University, Villanova, Pa., is being awarded a $6,259,866

cost contract to provide for Applied Research in Computing Enterprise Services to

research peer-to-peer service oriented architecture, encoding techniques for low

bandwidth, loose coupling and co-evolutionary development models.  The location of

performance is Lancaster, Pa.  At this time, $1,620,866 has been obligated.  This

work will be complete by December 2009.  Solicitations began in January 2005 and 15

proposals were received.  Negotiations were complete August 2005.  The Headquarters

Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Vase, Mass., is the contracting

activity (FA8726-05-C-0008).



                                        NAVY



            Centurum Inc., Marlton, N.J. was awarded on Nov. 18, 2005, a

$14,424,189 contract modification to a previously awarded

indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract

(N65236-02-D-5840) for specialized engineering, technical, and logistics support

services.  This contract modification exercises the fourth option year, bringing

the cumulative value of the contract to $57,826,802.  Work will be performed in

Norfolk, Va. (66 percent) and Charleston, S.C. (34 percent), and is expected to be

completed by November 2006.  This contract modification was awarded using other

than full and open competition and the procurement was synopsized in the Federal

Business Opportunities website and on the SPAWAR Systems Center E-commerce website

with no offers received.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston,

S.C. is the contracting activity (Mod P00016).



             BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration Inc.,

Communication, Navigation, Identification & Reconnaissance, Greenlawn, N.Y., is

being awarded a not-to-exceed ceiling price $6,270,000 delivery order (0006) under

previously awarded contract (N00383-03-G-038B) for 38 each newly manufactured

F/A-18 Combined Interrogator Transponder Systems for the Navy.  Work will be

performed in Greenlawn, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2007.

Contract funds will not expire by the end of the fiscal year.  This contract was

not competitively procured.  The Naval Inventory Control Point in Philadelphia,

Pa., is the contracting activity.
