            Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc.,Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a

$166,318,354 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract

(N00024-02-C-2102) for naval nuclear propulsion components.  Work will be

performed in Pittsburgh, Pa. (73 percent) and Schenectady, N.Y. (27 percent).

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Work

completion date or additional information is not provided on naval nuclear

propulsion contracts.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. , is

the contracting activity.







            Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is

being awarded a $28,679,009 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity,

cost-reimbursement contract for engineering support for the Capital Asset

Management System (CAMS).  CAMS is a computer network system that is designed

to manage asset accounting and reporting capabilities for all military

equipment.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be

completed by December 2010.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the SPAWAR

e-commerce business website, with one offer received.  The Space and Naval

Warfare System Center San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity

(N66001-06-D-0021).







            Earl Industries, LLC, Portsmouth, Va., is being awarded a

$17,032,477 fixed-price contract for the Planned Incremental Availability of

the USS Truman (CVN-75).  Work will include miscellaneous mechanical and

structural repairs, preservation and ship alterations.  Work will be performed

in Portsmouth, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2006.

Contract funds in the amount of $17,032,477 will expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the

Internet, with 12 proposals solicited and one offer received.  The

Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center USN, Portsmouth , Va. , is the

contracting activity (N40025-06-C-6004).







            McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing

Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a not to exceed $10,154,633

indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost-plus fixed-fee contract for

AV-8B Harrier post production support services, including engineering

analysis, testing, suitability evaluations, effectiveness evaluations,

configuration management support, and resolving reliability, availability,

and/or supportability problems.  Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. and

is expected to be completed in November 2006.  Contract funds in the amount of

$2,197,166 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract

was not competitively procured.   The Naval Air Systems Command is the

contracting activity (N00019-06-D-0007).







            Innovative Response Technologies Inc., Fairmont, W.V., is being

awarded a $9,948,365 firm-fixed-price contract for 309 explosive ordnance

disposal "BOMBOT" vehicles.  These systems will be used by technicians to

neutralize Improvised Explosive Devices while maintaining a safe distance.

Work will be performed in Fairmont, W.V., and is expected to be completed by

December 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current

fiscal year.  The contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Sea

Systems Command, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md. , is the contracting

activity (N00174-06-C-0018).







            Smiths Aerospace Inc., Electronic Systems, Grand Rapids, Mich., is

being awarded a $9,826,024 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a

previously awarded requirements contract (N00019-04-D-0080) for the

procurement of 52 AV-8B Warfare Mission Computers.  Work will be performed in

Grand Rapids, Mich., and is expected to be completed in January 2008.

Contract funds in the amount of $1,700,658 will expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. , is

the contracting activity.







            Tetra Tech EC Inc. (company's name changed from Tetra Tech Foster

Wheeler Inc.), San Diego, Calif., is being awarded $7,323,339 for Modification

26 to Task Order 0072 under a cost-plus-award-fee contract (N68711-98-D-5713)

for base-wide radiological surveys and remediation at Hunters Point Shipyard.

Work will be performed in San Francisco, Calif., and is expected to be

completed by May 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

current fiscal year.  The basic contract was competitively procured with 182

proposals solicited, seven offers received and award made on June 2, 1998._ _

The basic total amount is not to exceed $250,000,000, which includes the base

period and six one-year options.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command

Southwest, San Diego , Calif. , is the contracting activity.







                              DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY







            Lee Escher Oil Co. Inc, Coachella, Calif., * is being awarded a

minimum $13,043,277 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for

regular unleaded gasoline, diesel fuel, low sulfur, and diesel fuel, low

sulfur (red dyed).  The using services are the Navy and federal civilian

agencies.  Locations of performance will be performed in various locations

throughoutCalif.   There were 28 proposals solicited and 18 responded.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The

date of completion is Aug. 31, 2009.  The contracting activity is Defense

Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-4530).
