This is a Bridge/Active pickup combination and is one of the best systems money can buy. Please Note that this pickup system is totally brand new, and bridge would need to be shaped to fit your instrument. However, this would also remove the uncertainty about bridge shape suitability.

This Item is ex 'stock in trade' in a liquidation matter, and it presents an excellent oppurtunity for a discerning Double Bass player to equip his/her instrument with a rare and top of range system .


It is made by AKG at their headquarters in Austria using select timber, and their MicroMic microphone/pickup permanently embedded into wood. End of mic. cable (just over 1 metre long), terminates into a 3 pin balanced (canon) male plug which is also a Phantom Power adaptor designed for this mic.

This plug, naturally, should be plugged into a suitable PreAmp to complete amplification.
