Prva utakmica igra se u Milanu, 8. ili 9. avgusta, a revanš 2 nedelje kasnije.

UEFA will wait until next week to decide if Milan will be allowed to participate in this season's Champions League. Europe's governing body will make a decision by August 2, UEFA said after a meeting of its emergency panel on Thursday.

The draw for the third qualifying round is due to be made on Friday and Milan will be included, but only on a provisional basis, according to UEFA.

The six-time European champions were one of four clubs found guilty in the Serie A match-fixing probe but became eligible to compete in the third qualifying round after an Italian football appeals court adjudicating in the scandal reduced their initial punishment.

Milan were originally deducted 15 points for the coming Serie A season, which was cut to eight on Tuesday. They were also docked 44 points from their 2005-6 campaign which has been reduced to 30, allowing them to theoretically qualify for the qualifying stages of the Champions League.

"As far as the position of Milan is concerned, the Panel took note of a report submitted by the UEFA Chief Disciplinary Inspector on the question whether it would be appropriate, due to the particular circumstances, to admit Milan to the 2006-07 UEFA club competitions," UEFA said in a statement.

"Following this report, the Emergency Panel has decided to further examine whether to admit Milan to the 2006-07 UEFA club competitions.

After Juve were stripped of their title and demoted to Serie B and Fiorentina and Lazio also deducted enough points to drop them out of the European qualifying places, the Italian entries to the Champions League and UEFA Cup have now been re-asigned.

Milan, named as Scudetto winners for last season last Wednesday, and Roma have been put forward for the group stage, with Milan and Chievo the entries for the third qualifying round stage.
